Damn, with Otsuka gone i'll be relying on Eric Gagne being healthy for a full season, and that can't possibly end well. Makes this pick an easy one for me though.

I am very, very sad since he was going to be my next pick. :( I guess took the risk when I PMed you him as my 2nd choice last time.

Oh well, I'll go outside the organization for another promising young player:

Really, I'm sorry really I am but my last second scouting had me going to MLB.com and the 1st story I saw was about the O's pitching and I needed a pitcher that can get me as many walks as strikeouts! It was an accident that he was your 2nd choice.

starting the season on DL for at least a month.

Makes no difference. Had to grab a decent AL pitcher, because I have way too many National League pitchers.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why does this make a difference? Wouldn't NL pitchers have better ERAs and Ks (one less "real" batter)?

I have too many conflicting matchups. I'm looking for guys that can get wins at this point, because I think the guys like Unit, Zito and maybe Hudson will take care of ERA and K's. Last year, I had Willis and bleh. Didn't work out so well.

It's mostly a theory that I'm testing.

Just bumping this up in case no one noticed that Marvin edited in his pick up there.

Thanks, wouldn't have noticed. And Marvin, come on, if he's been picked, tell us who this mystery pick you've been harping about is!

Oh, and Cartman picks:

Oh for God's sake, she really quit!? Why? What happened?

Because most of you are idiots, and I can't tolerate reading any more posts.

There's too many Clique A morons here.

I prefer the regular Yahoo drafts where I can ignore most of you.

Well good riddance, we won't miss you.

Agreed.

I was actually slightly confused when HarleyQuinn wasn't originally in the league. It just wasn't the same without the Gotham Harlequins.

I don't want to jinx it, but it seems like we've been making really good progress in the draft since about Thursday.

I really had some good young talent on my 2005 team. Joe Mauer, Grady Sizemore, Alex Rios, Ryan Zimmerman, Nick Swisher, Bill Hall, David DeJesus(when healthy) Francisco Liriano, Francisco Rodriguez, Scott Kazmir, Carlos Zambrano, Ervin Santana.
