Mecca 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2007 The pyro freaked him out too. This has been a good episode of Smackdown. Miz/Benoit was pretty good as was MNM/London-Kendrick. Smackdown is just so much better than Raw it isn't funny. This feud is doing a brilliant slow burn so far, could a heel turn be in the works for Big Dave? Screwing UT out of the Rumble "inadvertantly" might be in the cards. Otherwise this show was amusing filler to get us ready for the Rumble on Sunday. I do think UT will have a good showing at the Rumble but end up being ripped off while Michaels ends up winning. I'd love to see Khali run through a series of jobbers, maybe 8 guys or so, and then UT finally comes out and kicks Khali's ass and sends him packing. I think the Rumble basically has to come down to HBK/Orton/Edge in a 2 on 1 beatdown, but Michaels eliminates them both. Unless UT wins it, I don't see a SD guy having a hope in hell. According to a recent Observer ratings breakdown, it looks like not only has Smackdown received the biggest audience growth, but it has, on average, only about 450,000 - 600,000 less viewers a week compared to Raw. There is such a lack of interest in SD ( I usually DVR it ) that we discuss it in the spoiler thread? The show discussion in the spoiler thread started last week when the Smackdown thread was locked before the show even started. Its pretty bad that even with spoiler disccussion we cant hit 2 pages..but whatever. I have no idea why the mods suddenly decided to close my Smackdown thread last week. Your right though, it's sad we can't seem to reach 2 pages despite the fact that Smackdown is THE BEST brand. Great show last night. I like how they're booking the tension between Taker and Batista. Guest wolverine1007 Report post Posted January 28, 2007 The only thing that has me worried on Smackdown is the whole Teddy Long/Kristal/Vickie Guerrero situation, because if they try to run any sort of angle where those two are trying to get Teddy's job, it would be horrible, and make Smackdown significantly worse, in my opinion.
