there's gloating and then there's being annoying, snuff...

Yeah, death threats are nothing. Now gloating...that's really crosing the line.

if you're a celebrity, watch what you say...

The two things that have actually prevented me from bulldozing Nickelback cds are that I dont have a bulldoze & I would have to buy Nickelback cds first.

The Dixie Chicks documentary Shut Up And Sing was pretty interesting. A lot of the controversy they generated was funny.

Was hoping Timberlake would win- oh well

Justin should have won Album of the Year. Not a huge fan of his, but he should have won it.

I hate the Dixie Chicks and I hate when one singer/group sweeps all the major categories. It makes it so boring.

At least they gave everything to the Dixie Chicks and didn't try to spread the wealth. I stopped watching at 8:05 so I don't feel like I missed much.

Guest Oedipus Rex

I'm glad John Mayer beat Justin Timberlake. Continuum ain't bad for a John Mayer album. He's makin' strides. My apathy toward Justin Timberlake is well documented.

What exactly does Rick Rubin do to earn such accolades? Just produce a lot of stuff? I've never thought of him as someone who really redefined the producer's role, like George Martin and Brian Eno.

The main question of the night is this: Could anyone REALLY tell the difference between those three women when they were singing? If I hadn't been paying attention to the screen, I am sure I would have expected it to be the same woman singing.

He's considered to be a big pioneer in rap/rock, due to his involvement with the Beastie Boys, as well as the Aerosmith/Run DMC collab. He produced Reign in Blood and Blood Sugar Sex Magik, played a huge role in Johnny Cash's career revival in the 90's, and co-founded Def Jam with Russell Simmons.
