The few I've known, I've gotten along well with, and I don't look down on them like I do with Mexicans or Indians. It's just the taboo factor and the fact that's it's so silly just how taboo it is. In the current social climate, nigger's about the most taboo word there is and when you're actually around someone you can say it in front of publically, it's fun. It's actually less fun when you're talking to actual racists, and more fun when you can just have a backhanded laugh at the social stigma. Actually, now that I think about it, the word niggerish might be even a little more fun to say than nigger, but that's open to debate. I'll make nigger and niggerish 1 and 1a for now. So, uh yeah.
