Frosty 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2008 I believe you need to have all the people in the same location in order to play the World Tour mode. Therefore doing a TSM band wouldn't have a whole lot of purpose, unless you know the same people are always going to be around at certain times and they just like playing together. AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2008 There's a downloadable content deal going for May. Two songs a week for 80MSP/$0.99 apiece. http://www.mtv.com/asm/rockdollarmenu/rockband_home.jhtml I got "Crushcrushcrush" and "Shockwave". (And "Saints of Los Angeles", which is still a buck.) The first week's songs may still be at the cheaper price. "Rock and Roll Band" is showing as 80MSP for me.

How dare you! What can't be good about singing this song and imagining Monty Brown jumping out of the screen and pouncing you throw the fucking wall! Obviously, the likely hood of that happening is very slim, maybe even as slim as Newcastle United winning the Premier League next year... or this decade. O WAA-A-A-AAGH! luke-o 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2008 Urgh, I hate Disturbed. Don't worry bout Newcastle though, I'm sure they'll win something worthwhile. When was the last time again?
Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2008 Not only that track list, but all RB1 songs, downloadable AND on the disc, can be ported over if you want. Also, MTV wanted a hundred songs in the game, but couldn't fit them all on the disc. So, sometime soon after release, they're going to release 20 MORE songs for free download. No word on what those are though. All in all, you could have an epic track list out of the box.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2008 I think what excites me most (on top of the obvious new GNR) is that Talking Heads got some love. I'll cross my fingers for some extra Talking Heads downloadable tracks in the future.

The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2008 I just wrapped my head around exactly how many songs are going to be available by the time Rock Band 2 ships. *Blows mind* I built up a pretty nice collection of Rock Band tracks since I got it...and I'm glad those will be playable in RB2. Add to that the entire RB1 track list from the disc itself...and then this new tracklist for 2. ...and the 20 free songs that are coming at launch. ...and continued DLC for 1 until release...and then 2 after... My goodness. There is a metric TON of songs to play.
AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2008 It's not the entire RB1 disc soundtrack that can be ripped. I believe the word Alex Rigopulos used at the Microsoft conference was "most". Probably some licensing issues with a handful of the songs. He also said that by the end of this year, there will be 500 Rock Band songs available.
