packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2007 Nice play by scheinder to keep it in the zone and take the shot right away. I figured it would be another blocked shot by the Sharks but the diving player actually helped the puck go in the net. Game 5 is HUGE once again on home ice. Please Detroit, take a 3 goal lead to start the game. These comebacks are killing me. (Though I do appreciate them)

Annabelle 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2007 i can't believe people are still ragging on haseks style? he's playing awesome for detroit. brodeur is the one losing it for his team. get it straight. i'd be nervous is i was san jose.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2007 Brodeur had a lot of nerve to suggest after the game that Emery proved he doesn't play that great when he faces a lot of shots, after Brodeur pretty much cost New Jersey the game last night with the two softies by Heatley and Fisher. C'mon. Game three was soley his fault because those goals most goalies would have stopped instead of flopped.

Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 3, 2007 He flops for no apparent reason except to draw a penelty. Before he did it because of desparation. That's what he does. He also gave me heart attacks by skating to the blue line to stop breakaways. Shit always worked, somehow. Dominator knows what he's doing.
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 3, 2007 Star Ocean, I'll ask you again, why/how are you a fan of two division rivals? Doin' it for the conference, silly. The Sabres have an extra off day today, and they should use this time to realize they better stop pissing me off.
Annabelle 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2007 leena is right. how can anyone critisise hasek for his playing style after all of his success? i wouldn't blame hasek for any of detroit's loses this playoff. if he's let in a soft goal or two, he's made 5-10 amazing saves to make up for them. Red Baron 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2007 Game three, if he played like a proper goalie instead of flopping around, Detroit would have had a stranglehold on this series. He's made some great saves, but his flopping around is what going to cost Detroit not winning the cup.
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2007 He's still made key saves that CuJo, Legace, Osgood would have let in to kill any momentum we would have had. He's kept us in the game for the most part when our offense was struggling.
treble 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2007 Well, this is interesting. I wonder if it's just an equipment problem with Luongo.

LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2007 So sad. Though Luongo's poo delaying the first overtime probably sums up the series for Vancouver. Only so much shit that poor guy can stop.
Guest Report post Posted May 4, 2007 I feel bad that I was so right on that one. Only because I picked the Ducks to win, but still. It's dirty.
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 4, 2007 Sabres get Gaustad back for Game 5. Much needed. We need another hoss forward in there to fuck opponents up.
Annabelle 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2007 the ducks scored on two plays where there should have been penalties. but thats moot. there's no way on vancouver was coming back. even though i picked them to win. they were awful in front on luongo. like columbus blue jackets awful. Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2007 He's still made key saves that CuJo, Legace, Osgood would have let in to kill any momentum we would have had. He's kept us in the game for the most part when our offense was struggling. Agreed. This is the first time in at least two seasons that I feel confident about who they have in net. Flopping and questionable puck handling aside, Hasek has been making those key saves that Joseph and Legace couldn't/wouldn't make. He's been the difference some nights for sure considering how low scoring this series has been.

Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 5, 2007 STRAKA~! The Sabres don't know what's going on now. They knew what was going on. They played 3 previous pathetic games in this series, and if it wasn't for luck, they'd be down 2-3 now. I hope it's a wakeup call that you can't fuck around in the playoffs. As they saw with Lunqvist's masterful positioning and goaltending tonight nearly stealing this game. And as they'll see vs. a quality opponent in the Semifinal. Dominance should have been established at MSG, and dominance would have been consolidated here if the Sabres played hardworking, prideful hockey.
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 Don't be that person. The one who's cheering for a team that's winning a ways into the playoffs and still finds reasons to bitch about how they should be playing better. I guess all that fawning over A-Rod infected you with you Yankeefanitis?
