AntiLeaf33 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2007 So the Sens got their new RBK EDGE jerseys today, and I'm really not a fan of them. Maybe I'll take to them after I get used to them, but as for now, they look pretty gross Jersey Tour
treble 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2007 I don't mind the new logo (even though I wish they hadn't gotten rid of the 2D logo, which was better than either the older or newer 3D one). The sweaters themselves look like practice jerseys, though, and the shoulder patch kind of sucks. The Peace Tower one was nice, should have kept that. At least it doesn't look like an apron, though. LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2007 Speaking of logos, here's a fan made Canucks logo. It's every one of our crappy logos thrown onto one uniform. I think they should use it as an alternate.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2007 Good for an alternate use. I really don't like the new Sens uniforms. They are tacky.
treble 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2007 Someone brought up to me that the found Leafs Stanley Cup ring in Florida could be something like a Bill Barilko situation. I'm going to run with it.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2007 The ring was part of the 67 team, no? Anyways my cousin got traded from the IceDogs to the London Knights this past week. I was hoping to see him play more often now since the team moved back to St. Catharines.

treble 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2007 Let me have this. Peter Loubardias and Pierre McGuire are doing the Super Series for TSN and Sportsnet. Better get your earplugs.
AntiLeaf33 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2007 My big issue so far with the new jerseys is that because of the lack of horizontal stipes, they look way too much like practice jerseys to me.
AntiLeaf33 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2007 Tampa Bay's new jerseys are out now. They don't look too bad, very simple and clean. Though when I look at the jersey, it does kind of look like a womens hockey jersey. Might be the slim fit as opposed to the usual baggy jerseys.

CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2007 The new jerseys aren't as bad as I was expecting. The shoulder patch is a nice nod to the past.
Guest Soriano's Torn Quad Report post Posted August 27, 2007 If you track the gradual releases of the new sweaters, you can see what Reebok did here. The first one we saw was Boston's, which everyone pretty much liked. Once everybody figured "okay, maybe these won't be so bad," they started dumping out all the practice-jersey-lookin' things, like Florida, Tampa Bay, and Ottawa. These look like they're meant for women.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2007 The teams are responsible for the jerseys. I think the gradual releases are due the fact that the NHL wants to dump its old jerseys first.
CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2007 Canada takes the early lead in the SuperSeries with a 4-2 win this morning, but this takes a backseat. CC, what's the story on your avatar?
Prophet of Mike Zagurski 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2007 I started a fantasy hockey league on Yahoo. This is rotisserie style. I know last season there was a head to head one also. http://hockey.fantasysports.yahoo.com/league/tsm League: The Smark Marks Pass: TSM ID: 10042 I screwed up like last year and put Smark in the title. I put the draft at 8:30 EDT/5:30 PST on Sept 8th. CG, watch this and your questions will be answered: NWS but funny We should start a predictions thread soon. The Ex-Bruins continue to staff the Kings. Lewis is probably a better associate coach than a real coach. His style is too confusing to his players. Wonder if he and MOC will be introduced as two of the main reasons why the Bruins have been as bad as they have been for two seasons.
AntiLeaf33 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2007 JS Aubin is a nice pick up for the Kings. If nothing else he fills the hole that Garon left.
LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2007 I like the Tampa jerseys. Very clean. Canucks new jerseys are out. Home jersey looks ok... But the away uniform, not so much. Having two different logos for home vs away is probably unique in the league.
