Spaceman Spiff Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 OMG LOOK HOW MUCH THE CROWD IS SHITTING ON CENA THEY NEED TO HAVE HIM DROP TEH BELT.
fazzle Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Seriously though, Umaga has already been buried enough already, so why not just have him eat the pin?
fazzle Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Daaaamn. Nice cleavage on that girl in the front row in the white top. Keep the camera on her. I saw her first damn it wait your turn. Why can't we both have our turns at the same time? Shotgun Anus.... I bet she'd be up for some DVDA. She just looks the type.
The Amazing Rando Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Vince, if he wanted to make a point, should have made that match Elimination Rules... sure, then they can get DQed, but it makes more sense for both big guys to take out Cena first and then fight for the title themselves.
Hawk 34 Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Seriously though, Umaga has already been buried enough already, so why not just have him eat the pin? To sell that the Spike really hurt Khali.

To be fair, Vince isn't exactly thinking clearly tonight anyway, so he probably figured a triple threat would be enough.

To be fair, Vince isn't exactly thinking clearly tonight anyway, so he probably figured a triple threat would be enough. Also, he could have just kept re-starting the match with two more guys, then two more, then two more, over and over like he did when HBK/Cena were tag champs. And if you bring up the time constraints, well, it was his fault for making all those random matches.
Perfection Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Seriously though, Umaga has already been buried enough already, so why not just have him eat the pin? I dont understand khali taking the fall here either....it really surprised me. Khali is good enough that he could really be an attraction if booked right but instead, they have totally destroyed his credibility feeding him to cena.
Hawk 34 Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 It's not as if they ruined him like they did with TBS. Just yet. Two jobs isn't a burial but that's par for course around here to jump to extreme conclusions.
BorneAgain Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Khali's fine. It's taken two non-conventional finishes (FU off the crane and a FU/Spike combination) to even pin him and Taker, the guy who's killed all the monsters had to use multiple chairshots just to keep him down.
Perfection Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Seriously though, Umaga has already been buried enough already, so why not just have him eat the pin? To sell that the Spike really hurt Khali. It would have made much more sense for say khali to chop umaga or chokeslam him then have cena knock him into the ropes where he gets tied up. Cena then proceeds to finish off umaga. that was the finish i was expecting. For khali to even be able to take the FU he would really have to be out of it, since they have made it extremely clear that its real easy for him to get out of it by just hitting cena in the face while on his shoulders. Instead we have him taking the FU last night after just a rake to the eyes, after being in total control, and then the finish tonight. Just dumb unless they are thinking about getting rid of khali altogethor for a while...
Hawkius Maximus Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Two things I really liked about this match: Khali was far stronger then Umaga. He wasn't really having a problem with Umaga...but the difference is, Khali's just a big guy. Umaga keeps coming back, and he kept doing this here. Even after the finish, Umaga was running around PO'd. It sets them apart when illustrated. Khali can beat on Umaga...but just like Cena couldn't do, it 's nearly impossible to keep Umaga down. The other part was Cena was just there. He wasn't superman. He wasn't beating on them both. In fact, he got his ass KICKED until they began to beat on each other. Everytime Cena's come against Umaga or Khali, he's mostly gotten his ass kicked. This was a continuation. I personally think their going to start phasing out Khali. I think they realize they've gotten the best they could out of him. He's either going to move to SD or ECW, or job to Umaga in a feud. Umaga is FAR more versatile as a worker, which I think they understand. That's why Khali jobbed here. He's going Bye Bye. Umaga will be staying around I'd be willing to bet.

I don't think he's leaving just yet, although he'll obviously shift from being in his current spot as he's done exactly what you said, served his purpose as best as possible as the monster heel and no one, is dragging Khali to something better then what Cena managed. I agreed completely with the observation and was pretty spot on. Cena was the third wheel here by far. This match was to set up Khali and Umaga and to firmly close the door on Cena-Khali.
cabbageboy Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 What do you really do with either of these guys though? We've established that Khali is going nowhere near the title again and has lost his invincible appeal. We've established that Umaga can't beat either Cena or Lashley and I doubt he could face a heel Edge on SD. I guess maybe go to SD anyway in the draft and face Batista or UT when he gets back. In regards to the rest of this show tonight, it was just lame duck crap to kill time until the draft next week. I guess there was the tag title change, which may well be a mistake if it ends with the Hardys once again on separate shows. Who knows where this Vince "Black Cloud of Doom" angle is going, but it desperately needs to get there soon. If there are many more shows with him acting insane I may well go off the deep end too.

The Hardyz have always been on separate shows. And, of course, the black cloud of doom is the nWo.
Downhome Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 So the nWo shows up, only for all three of them to get drafted to different shows.
cabbageboy Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 You know what I meant...that the Hardys will be on separate shows full time again. If anything I'd just trade Matt to Raw or Jeff to SD and make them a team all the time. The black cloud of doom could be the following: Benoit is moved to Raw and becomes the next Orton concussion victim. You know it'll happen.

Insanity Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Umaga hasn't been beaten decisively yet. He was pinned from a spear and a stunner. Cena's first win was seen as a fluke, and Cena had to choke him to death in the LMS to win.
Scroby Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 What the fuck? Orton about to go for the RKO and then... Norbit? BIG TIME!
... Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Did Umaga snag those pants out of The Headshrinkers old locker. It's control tops as frequently seen on 42-year-old women.
goldengreek Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Hey, what you know? Khali and Umaga basically cancel each other out and Cena takes advantage and sneaks in a win. That stupid ass Superman push rears it's head again. Btw. the finish was exactly what I said would happen just with Khali in Umaga's place instead. your a genious! lol
goldengreek Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 so......... 4 straight losses for Kahli? Yeah , he is a monster the entire roster should fear..pffft.
Wrestlefreak Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 This draft has become pointless. It was quite good when WWE would stick to the concept rigidly, but by blurring the lines between the brands(I.E. having guys turn up randomly on other brands with no good reason or sometimes no reason at all) it has watered down what used to be a somewhat fun process. IMO, they should either drop the brand-extension completely or do it properly. This half-assed approach sucks.

Ah well, I was hoping for a nice long tag feud with Cade/Murdoch as a way to signal the rebirth of tag team wrestling. Alas I see that it's not to be and Cade/Murdoch will go the way of a Gregory Helms run in obscurity.
Dobbs 3K Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 So, is everyone else psyched for Vince McMahon Appreciation Night next week? I'm sure that will pull the ratings in, for sure.
AntiLeaf33 Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 So, is everyone else psyched for Vince McMahon Appreciation Night next week? I'm sure that will pull the ratings in, for sure. Jesus, how many McMahon appreciation nights can they have in the run of a year?
Guest jonnymack Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Isn't every WWE show Vince McMahon Appreciation Night?
Mike wanna be Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Prediction: Someone has to join the Kiss My Ass club, but a last-second draft pick to RAW (smart money's on Lashley) interferes and breaks it up.
Dobbs 3K Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Oh boy, Lashley on RAW, I don't think I've seen that one before. Or Matt Hardy on RAW, or Chris Benoit on RAW...
