chirs3 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2007 (edited) So it didn't occur to me until just now - my super ultra mega awesome brand spankin' new laptop doesn't come with MS Word or any equivalent. I'm fine typing matches in Notepad, but Notepad doesn't have a Word Count function. I don't really feel like counting by hand, so does anyone know where on the interwebs I can go to fix this problem? Testing. Edited June 16, 2007 by chirs3
Angel_Grace_Blue 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2007 I use this site, and it's pretty good, though it counts tags as a word, which, if you double tag as you type, like I do, could be a small problem, lolz0rzes. JavaScript Word Counter
Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2007 Office costs like $150.00 US. And you can usually get a standalone copy of Word at any computer expo for, like, twenty bucks. Buy a copy, you cheap bastard.
muzz 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2007 Don't you know anyone that could lend you it? Hell, we have about 10 copies here, of varying years.
Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2007 Try an Office alternative like Open Office which is free and comes with the standard Word equivalent.

If I used Word for anything other than word counting, I might. But I don't.
