Atticus Chaos Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 LONDON - Police smashed a global Internet pedophile ring, rescuing 31 children and rounding up more than 700 suspects worldwide, authorities said Monday. Some 200 suspects are based in Britain, the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Center said. The ring was traced to an Internet chat room called "Kids the Light of Our Lives" that featured images of children being subjected to horrific sexual abuse. The investigation involves agencies from 35 countries and lasted 10 months. The host of the Web site, Timothy David Martyn ***, 27, of Buxhall, who used the online identity "Son of God," admitted to nine counts of possessing and distributing indecent images, authorities said. After his arrest in September, authorities were able to infiltrate the chat room and collect evidence on the other members. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070618/ap_on_...eTLdM2T.6YE1vAI Some good news for once.
Guest Smues Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 You didn't quote the part about 31 kids being rescued, some as young as a few months old. Fucking sickos.
2GOLD Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 They are going to have a lot of fun in prison, the sick freaks. When the prisoners are done with them, they will wish they had been shot instead of arrested.
Atticus Chaos Posted June 18, 2007 Author Report Posted June 18, 2007 You didn't quote the part about 31 kids being rescued, some as young as a few months old. Fucking sickos. The only good thing I can say is that the really young ones won't have any memory of their ordeal. Anyway, the guys who did this deserve to suffer the longest and most painful deaths. It pains me that some people go on about pedophile's rights....as far as I'm concerned those people have NO rights.
Jingus Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 The only good thing I can say is that the really young ones won't have any memory of their ordeal. Nope, just horrific mutitlations and scars, depending on exactly what was done to them.

Nope, just horrific mutitlations and scars, depending on exactly what was done to them. I'm not saying they'll be unaffected, but if that happened to me, I'd rather not have any memory of it.
Turbo Lion Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 They may not have a direct conscious memory of it, but they will bear subconscious behaviors and scars that they won't understand when they reach adolescence and adulthood. Their most impressionable years of cognitive development were full of this. It isn't over for them by a long shot.
At Home Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 I was delighted to read that. Justice served.
Scarlett_Rayne Posted July 13, 2007 Report Posted July 13, 2007 didn't they bust another huge global one a few months ago or is this the same one? i know that one had like 100 or so americans in it

When the prisoners are done with them, they will wish they had been shot instead of arrested. Whilst I agree that paedophiles are pretty much the lowest examples of human beings in the world, I also think it is important that a prison should ensure the safety of even it's most moralistically corrupt criminals.
