UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Tonight, a very special three-hour edition of Monday Night Raw will start at 8/7 CT. Superstars from Raw, SmackDown and ECW are required to attend Raw as the federal investigation broadens into the demise of Mr. McMahon. Every Superstar has begun the finger pointing at their peers, and lead federal investigator Daniel Beck has the task of deciding between fact and fiction. Will Beck find any leads into Mr. McMahon’s limo explosion? Our fans in Corpus Christi, Texas will have the opportunity to pay their respects to Mr. McMahon as well. A memorial will be set up inside the lobby of the American Bank Center, where our fans can give their own eulogy for the fallen Chairman. After Vengeance: Night of Champions, John Cena is still the WWE Champion, having defeated Mick Foley, Bobby Lashley, King Booker and Randy Orton in the WWE Championship Challenge Match. How will those Superstars react to failing in their quests for gold, and will anyone emerge as a contender to Cena's title? After all, If Johnny Nitro can be a World Champion, then anyone from the popcorn guy to the janitor may be the next to win gold! Also, Candice Michelle left Vengeance as the new WWE Women's Champion after defeating Melina. What will Candice do on her first night as champion? To find out these answers and more, tune in to a special edition of Raw tonight at 8/7 CT on USA Network.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted June 25, 2007 Author Report Posted June 25, 2007 I can't wait to see Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold interact tonight. And Tully Blanchard standing next to Arn Anderson. How cool will it be to have The Rock and Mr. Kennedy within feet of each other? Surely, every guy that Vince has ever made money for will be at his "live, broadcasted on TV so even if you hate him you better be there to not look like an asshole to the fans" funeral service tonight. Man, the thought of Kamala in a suit is something I can't even wait for. Plus, we'll get Bret Hart tonight. It's going to be awesome. Pretty much every single important wrestler ever except Sting will be on Raw, tonight. Yeah, or not. WWE will screw this up again and by 11 pm the "Jackass" guys will be babyfaces that Stephanie and Shane will promise revenge to. But at least we might get some hilarity with seeing WORLD CHAMPION JOHNNY NITRO.
Mecha Mummy Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 After all, If Johnny Nitro can be a World Champion, then anyone from the popcorn guy to the janitor may be the next to win gold! They're not even pretending to take ECW seriously anymore, I see.
Vern Gagne Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Good choice. It had become a joke before Vince brought it back. Are all those people really supposed to be on Raw tonight? The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Tully Blanchard.
2GOLD Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Good choice. It had become a joke before Vince brought it back. Are all those people really supposed to be on Raw tonight? The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Tully Blanchard. If I hear it's midgets dressed like them doing a little dance, I might tune in. That is, if The Closer isn't any good.
Downhome Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 After all, If Johnny Nitro can be a World Champion, then anyone from the popcorn guy to the janitor may be the next to win gold! Surely you added that part. I don't see it on the site anymore if it was actually there before.
Vern Gagne Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 If they could get the rights to "Funeral for a friend" I'd mark the fuck out.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 --Besides Eric Bischoff, Jimmy Hart and Steve Austin, also on tonight's Raw in guest cameos as part of the Memorial to Vince are Ted DiBiase, Linda McMahon, Moolah and Mae Young. Linda will be a prominent part of tonight's show, which apparently will look like a Vince Russo TV show.
DrVenkman PhD Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 FWIW, someone told Meltzer that Raw is on live at 8pm eastern in Canada. There is no evidence at all to support this (both my digital guide and TheScore's own website say 9-12).
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted June 25, 2007 Author Report Posted June 25, 2007 Wow. The Undertaker and Paul Bearer have to totally be involved with the funeral. If Taker is physically able to give a couple chokeslams out to Shane and Vince's heel minions, that'd rock, like if they refuse to "let go of Vince's memory" and decide that the casket will not be buried or something. If that happened I'd even forgive that PPV from last night.
slimm44 Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Tonight's show is now being dedicated to Chris Benoit. He and his wife were found dead, according to wwe.com and pwinsider
Cheech Tremendous Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Vince, as owner of the company that Benoit worked for, needs to make a statement tonight. They can't keep him off to protect the whodunit angle.
