Hunter's Torn Quad

WWE General Discussion for July 2007

Recommended Posts

Bad wording. He's been there before, they've bounced him back and forth between OVW, Deep South, the new Florida territory, and Raw dark matches. Except for a couple of real quick loitering-in-the-background type shots, he hasn't even been on TV yet.

As a result of the Benoit family tragedy, Vince has put a ban on using any sort of chokehold in WWE matches. Talent and producers have to get special permission from McMahon before using a chokehold in a match. Vince feared the media would use WWE footage of wrestlers in chokeholds. At this point, no media outlets have shown any footage relating to chokeholds.

From PWInsider:

Teddy Hart, Harry Smith and Nattie Neidhart all debuted on this week's Ohio Valley Wrestling TV wearing matching outfits. Smith and Hart will be wrestling Cryme Time at the next OVW Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom event this Friday. WWE champion John Cena and Jerry Lawler will also appear. Thanks to Paul Jordan for sending that along.

We're just one step closer to seeing it on WWE programming.

I look forward to seeing that tonight.

If anyone is still questioning if the Hart Foundation 2.0 is going to be infact debuted, I can honestly tell you it will be. The Wrestling Grapevine has gotten this information to me.

Considering the stories that flew after her firing everyone will get a kick out of this pic...

Ariels looking pretty rough there to be fair. Which is shame cause she was hot.

I'm going to watch OVW in a few minutes, and if the Harts are on it this might be pretty interesting. By the way Harry Smith was on OVW a few times before but he was mostly tagging with Kofi Kingston and jobbing. Wasn't a real great run.

Well I can see that, and that doesn't help.

She's pretty good looking either way........don't act like you'd turn it down.

- Jamie Noble (James Gibson) is now a producer/agent, who is in charge of putting together the cruiserweight matches. There is a push to hire younger producers/agents.

- Mike "Simon Dean" Bucci has heat for acting like a big shot at Florida Championship Wrestling events.

Looks more like a bad quality picture to me. Heck, I think she's pretty cute in it. It's a damn shame that they released her of all the women in the company.

Yeah I don't know where luke-o is coming from there. Shelly Martinez looked better in that poor quality picture than she has looked the entire time she was on ECW TV. Perhaps if she gained 100 pounds, that'll suit luke-o just fine.

As if there isn't a bunch of videos of wrestlers chocking one another already.

I'm guessing HHH will still be able to do his crazy man choke though

I agree. She has a very pretty face in that picture.

I'd been thinking the other day how much I missed seeing Tajiri on WWE tv recently. Apparently the Observer is reporting that feelers were sent out to see if he was interested in coming back, unfortunatly not. Shame. He would be so useful on Smackdown right now to anchor the C/W division. (or lack thereof) He'd even be believeable pushed as a challenger for the US title.

He's now in the main event at All Japan, jobbing to Chavo doesn't sound so good anymore. Check out my Youtube profile if you want to see some of his more recent work, he's had a couple of cracking ECW style matches with Corino.

A ban on any sort of chokehold?

They just made the fucking SLEEPER HOLD illegal.

I'll bet that one will either slip through the cracks or be one of the ones that is more frequently allowed by talent to use. I'd also expect the corner-foot-choke to get through and maybe even the choke bomb, if there is a wrestler in the company that uses it anymore.

I actually don't know if any wrestlers use a choke as a primary move whatsoever.

Not entirely suprising that he'd be reluctent to return then. I'll definatly check out the Corino matches.

I haven't watched any Khali matches in a long time, but is he not using the choke bomb as his finish?

I should point out that The Hart Foundation 2.0 consist of Harry and Teddy with horrible haircuts and the red/pink pajama shiny pants.

Also, ECW could use a guy like Burchill right now. I'd be all for a Punk-Burchill series after 'Slam when Punk finally takes the belt away from Morrison.

Burchill definatly needs the call up again. ECW & Smackdown are desperate for some fresh talent to plug gaps. Cody Rhodes all got the call up from development as they wanted some fresh talent on the main roster, but apparently they don't see anyone else as ready it's been reported. Sounds like complete balls when they've got Burchill right there.

It seems as if WWE still thinks OVW still needs WWE TV regulars to stick around, which says alot about what they think of the ones they have called up and for those they haven't.

If the Majors brothers got the call and they are still doing OVW, no reason Burchill shouldn't.

Interesting house show results from pwi. Maybe they are going to turn lashley heel (?)

John Cena and Bobby Lashley didn't have a finish in the WWE title match. Orton and Umaga ran down during the match and it ended. Lashley and Cena teamed up to fight them off. Then they did the spot where they were suddenly facing off. Lashley grabbed the title belt and held it for a few minutes before laying Cena out. He left him laying and played total heel. Agents even came out from the back to try and stop the beat down but Lashley kept on going. The PPV should be interesting.

I supose I was pretty harsh, what I meant was that shes looked better. Next to Mickie James, she was the hottest diva by a mile.

And that last sentance was totally uncalled for :P
