ChrisMWaters Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Maybe I'm sick in the head... But since a lot of times WWE uses late cultural references...Lashley should get a Mike Tyson gimmick circa...whenever. He's got the voice.
JimmyHendricks Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Forget "The Game" bring back "My Time" "who's sleepin with who round here?" Why is that theme so loved? I actually liked "The Game" until it hit year 3 or so, and became annoying and repetitive.

Baby Eater..Bobby Lashley! and maybe he'll bite Foley's other ear off.
Perfection Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 You have to laugh at Mcmahon pushing the most roided up person on the roster when the media has been doing nothing but talking about steroids for the past week.

Odd, I was hoping that for Brock Lesnar back in the days before he talked.
Guest bigrick0016 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 nice way to piss me off, make Kennedy look bad for 3 hours. I'll go back to lurking now.

CheesalaIsGood Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 I'm kinda in the middle on the show as a whole. Doing the time clock gimmick is ok once in awhile. But it does give away that you are in for a night of short matches. Which sucks.

TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Would anyone mind giving a quick rundown of the show?
cabbageboy Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Cena vs. Lashley is a bad idea right now. This match is something they could actually build to and make important, not just something to throw onto the year's lamest PPV (like the SD title match). I would have rather Booker's time held up and they give him some lame duck title shot where he'd job of course. I still think somehow that ends up a 3 way and Booker eats a pin. Is Kennedy still hurt? The Super Crazy thing was more of a silly angle than a match, but Kennedy is still getting buried. Or if it isn't a burial it'll do until one comes along.
Breakpack Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Someone should tattoo the belt on Cena's waist.
Perfection Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Someone should tattoo the belt on Cena's waist. Just rename it the Cena heavyweight championship.
foleyfanforever88 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 I'm so glad they're doing Cena-Lashley now on a 'throwaway' pay-per-view that I don't have any other reason to buy. People wonder why Cena is hated so much..watch the first 5 minutes of tonight's show. He called Kennedy "Mr. Crappy Pants." MISTER FUCKING CRAPPY PANTS. Jesus Christ.
Scroby Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 How long has Val officially been a job guy now? So many wasted years. Yeah I'm sure all those regular paychecks were just as wasted.
Vern Gagne Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Val Venis. Most likely to become a road agent.

Nothing can beat when he called Jericho "Y2 Cheap" 2 years ago.
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Apprently the guy who writes Cena's jokes is the same guy who writes Christmas Cracker jokes.
Enigma Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 I like the guy who had the sign in the beginning that said "SOMEONE BEAT CENA ALREADY"
Scroby Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Apprently the guy who writes Cena's jokes is the same guy who writes Christmas Cracker jokes. What is a Christmas Cracker and why do they have jokes?

Jingus Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Nothing can beat when he called Jericho "Y2 Cheap" 2 years ago. Fuck yeah, I'd forgotten about that! The phrase didn't make any goddamn sense, and he kept saying it OVER AND OVER.

AntiLeaf33 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Shouldn't Super Crazy be the Number 1 contendor? He was the beat the clock match the fastest. But I assume the logic behind the Beat the Clock matches was that the Beat The Clock stipluation only stood for the guys in the opening segment
Wrestlefreak Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Lashley sucks. King Booker is a much more entertaining antidote to Cena's blandness. I enjoyed the Benjamin/Booker segment.

I knew as soon as that wasn't mentioned someone would lose.

I knew as soon as that wasn't mentioned someone would lose. They did mention that if the other guy wins then his time will be considered when they had the Beat the Clock on Smackdown a while ago. I think that was the one Kennedy ended up winning after he caused Taker and the Miz's match to go a little longer
cabbageboy Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Yeah, give Crazy the title shot! I would have also gone with Booker instead of Lashley, mainly because I wouldn't do Cena vs. Lashley on such a nothing PPV. I have no idea why Booker was sent to Raw, since he has no credibility left with the King gimmick and there aren't many feuds for him. Maybe Booker vs. HBK when Michaels returns? That's about all I can think of for Booker.
AntiLeaf33 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Speaking of King Booker: If he is going to keep doing the King Booker gimmick then can they at least make JR and the King call him King Booker instead of constantly calling him Booker T? I'm not the biggest Michael Cole fan, but at least he constantly got him name right.
Dobbs 3K Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Kind of boring episode last night...yeah, there were a lot of matches, but they were all short and formulaic. I admit, the Lashley turn caught me by surprised. Mainly, I'm surprised they finally pulled the trigger on it.
