The Amazing Rando Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Santino's pillbox hat just got knocked off the trunk of the limo...
yankovic fan Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 "Miracle in Milan" "Devastation in Dallas" Jr with the alliteration.
ChrisMWaters Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 I liked how Umaga reacted to winning the belt. Fit his "savage" gimmick.
CheesalaIsGood Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Well hopefully the HHH vignette will be a wake up call to all the mid to lower card guys to get their shit together and get over. So he will have some more guys to beat? He can beat then if they are not over too. Though he probably wouldn't wrestle them. Accept it, HHH is here to stay. Might as well make it interesting.
ChrisMWaters Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 I know the King gimmick got him back into the World title picture... But I miss Booker's old theme. NOT VAL VENIS!
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 They are really using Val Venis? Wow.
Hawk 34 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 The gimmick is ten years old and they still manage to "find" a big rack'd chick in the front row going nuts for the guy. I figured they'd do Sandman-Booker, just for the reactions from Booker to Sandman.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Lawlers comment..how long before we see Lawler vs Booker, battle of the Kings..with special guest Ref..the Burger King?
DMann2003 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Does it amaze anyone else that here we are, 9-10 years later and Val Venis is still employed by WWE, long past his expiration date, what is he, like the Tony Garea of the 21st Century?
The Amazing Rando Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 The gimmick is ten years old and they still manage to "find" a big rack'd chick in the front row going nuts for the guy. It's the tights.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 That was the first time Umaga actually touched the IC Title. Despite now being a 20time champion. Jim Ross corrects Lawler for calling him "Booker T".
Guest Marvel Man X Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 What's up with this whole "Not Val Venis" thing? Where did that orignate from?

CheesalaIsGood Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Booking idea for this match: Booker has Val in a submission but Val lasts after the timer. Then Booker goes all apeshit afterwards and gets DQ'd. Rematch next week and Booker squashes him in under 7:02. Just an idea.
The Amazing Rando Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 What's up with this whole "Not Val Venis" thing? Where did that orignate from? uhmm... The Amazing Raaaaaando!!
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 I bet Val Venis gets some clotheslines, a knee to the stomach, then signals for the Money Shot but doesn't hit it.
Hawk 34 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Does it amaze anyone else that here we are, 9-10 years later and Val Venis is still employed by WWE, long past his expiration date, what is he, like the Tony Garea of the 21st Century? More like the Tito Santana of our day. Good run during the peak years as a mid-card act including a couple title reigns but complete JTTS career for another half decade despite not much difference to character aside from costume. Sure, Venis had the brief RTC deal but the comparison to Santana holds strong.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 The match automatically ends if you don't win under the time. It's a draw. See: London Vs. Kendrick from January this year.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 You know what? That was a good fucking TV match. Fuck it. Push Val Venis.

UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 I called Booker/Cena for the Bash weeks ago, despite what the Observer thinks of Cena/Lashley. Still, Cena/Lashley might be their own big draw.
Downhome Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 How long has Val officially been a job guy now? So many wasted years.
