What do you completely and utterly suck at?

Recommended Posts

Painting: my drawing ability is absolutely terrible.

Anything that relates to shapes: I don't really find algebra difficult and I am a good mathematician generally, but I find shapes impossible.

Not falling over when sitting down: I have fallen off my bed twice today alone.

Getting up early, but that's because I have a sleeping disorder.

I'm rather terrible at skateboarding as well as complicated drawing. I'm not bad with logos and more cartoony things, though.

Talking to females: why, oh why has God given me this curse?

Liking people: I seem to take a "guilty until proven innocent" stance as it pertains to other human beings.

Liking children. I hate children. There are 4 small children under the age of four that I'm staying with right now on vacation. Every time I see them I fantasize about knocking their buildings down, or just hitting them.

Making moves. I just suck at it. End of story. I can't really help it either. I've tried the "what do I have to lose?" approach, but I guess I'm just pretty bashful.

Whilst both of these things would apply to me, I would never dream of hitting a child. The poor buggers just antagonise me with their mere presence, is all.

I'd like to hit a child. I'm kind of sad at the fact that child abuse is becoming less and less acceptable. I don't like the kind of child abuse just because you're angry at something, but the kind of child abuse that black people talk about all the time. The kind that kids deserve. One of my friend's dad hit her once and she went into this coke-fueled meltdown and said "Well, if he hits me again I don't think I can take having to call the cops on him." I couldn't really say "grow up, you piece of shit" because it wouldn't look good, but it was one of the more ridiculous things I heard that day.

Baseball.

Hitting a ball with a stick? Can't do it.

I also have White Guy Dance Abilities. Not even "look at that goofy guy dancing" skillz that some guys have. Basically I can bob my head in rhythm with the song, and anything beyond that is Elaine from Seinfeld only worse.

I'ma take the easy way out and say drawing.

Guy stuff to some extent. Hand me most basic tools (and this applies to cars as well), and I'll be able to identify what it is and what they do. Tell me to go to work, and I'm fucked.

Yet another vote for drawing here.

I suck at anything that requires more coordination than just walking down the street. That includes dancing, riding a bike, skateboarding, and almost all sporting activities. I fart in the general direction of people who think that athletics are a necessary part of a child's education.

I suck at driving a stick shift. That leaps out at me. About 7 years ago, I bought a 1978 Volkswagen camper van in just excellent condition, all original interior and everything, for $1000. My Dad tried to teach me to drive a stick, but I just couldn't get the hang of it; I tore up 3 transmissions in three weeks. One morning, I was driving it to work and I tore up the transmission and had to leave it on the side of the road until I could come tow it later that afternoon. When I got back, it had been impounded and I had no money to get it out of impound. Now I drive a boring fuckin' Mazda. I can't drive stick because I have terrible hand/foot coordination; that's why I can't play drums or classical piano.

I would've been what? No, I went through the same gym classes as everyone else all throughout school, and my matches were still all crappy comedy affairs. The only thing I could ever pull off gracefully was doing elbow drops.

EDIT: can't do any musical instruments either. Coordination between the left/right sides of my body is too crappy. Maybe I could if I practiced a LOT, I can type just fine after years of experience, but I've tried some rudimentary piano lessons and got nowhere. Never even attempted to drive stick shift, wouldn't ever want to.

Finding employment that isn't some underachieving drone work. I have the skills, I have the degree, but the job hunt process (resumes, application, interviews, etc.) is complete anathema to me.

Reading. No concentration span. Find myself staring into space after 30 seconds. Incidentally, I'm probably going to end up teaching English.

I've still not tried, but I would imagine I'm an awful driver.

Put me down for tools as well. I cannot master them at all.

Looking up when walking in public. I seem to constantly stare at the ground and when I try to look up my head spasms and forces me to look at the ground. This especially happens if I am walking past somebody, particularly if they're female.

Actually, put me down for "manly" things too like sports, cars, fixing stuff etc. I suck at all of those.
