Guest Smues Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 17-7 Ohio State, 14 points in about 60 seconds of game clock. Bah.
Guest Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 I was laughing when Jim Tressel said that Locker was as fast as Vince Young, because I didn't think Locker was that fast when I saw him in his last two games. I think Jim Tressel is right.
HarleyQuinn Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 New Hampshire is raping Marshall, 24-0 at halftime... wow.
Danville_Wrestling Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 And the day just continues to get worse for Notre Dame. I can't believe ND still hasn't scored an offensive TD all year. That's just embarrassing but its fun to follow the streak.
CanadianChris Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Thirty-three rushes for minus-six yards. THIRTY-THREE RUSHES FOR MINUS-SIX YARDS. Notre Dame is just brutally bad.
Urban Warfare Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Really impressed with how Florida came out today. I was expecting a win, but for them to come out and completely dominate (and now allow to much on defense) was very impressive.
CanadianChris Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Really impressed with how Florida came out today. I was expecting a win, but for them to come out and completely dominate (and now allow to much on defense) was very impressive. Too bad they've probably lost Jerimy Finch for the year with a knee injury after running back a pick in garbage time. That looked gruesome on the replay.
Timmy8271 Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 UCF almost had Texas today. Texas can thank Kyle Isreal for giving them that game.
Broward83 Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Uhm...anyone wanna try to tell me what I just witnessed during this Texas/UCF game? Texas is in no shape for K-State or OU as of right now...
Mike wanna be Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Arkansas is getting splattered 21-0 at the end of the first quarter. ND got smashed, which is great because I've got an ex-girlfriend that goes there. Of course, this begs the question of "What would the score be of an Appalachian State/Notre Dame game?"
Bored Posted September 15, 2007 Author Report Posted September 15, 2007 Just got home from the A's game and after skimming the posts don't see any mention of UCLA getting humiliated by a mediocre Utah team, 34-6. I wasn't sold on the Bruins being a near Top 10 team but god damn what the hell happened?
CanadianChris Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Wow, last I heard it was 14-6 Utah. Good defence, I guess.
Bored Posted September 16, 2007 Author Report Posted September 16, 2007 Now 44-6, even at #11 this has to drop them out of the Top 25. Going to be an ugly day for the Pac-10 if USC doesn't take care of business tonight. Kentucky has jumped Louisville early 13-0.
HarleyQuinn Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 New Hampshire (FCS) beat Marshall (FBS) in a shootout 48-35.
Hawk 34 Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Yet, I'm sure that won't get all that much coverage. Hell, I bet New Hampshire was the favorite going into that game.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 And just like that USC scores a TD to make it 7-0.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Just saw that UCLA score on the ticker. Damn. 'Bama looks great, and has most of the Darren McFadden trick plays and what-not scouted really well. I see a sad ending for Mr. Nutt.
CanadianChris Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Hopefully, this will spark some review of whether polls should be conducted for the first month of the season. Obviously, UCLA is nowhere near being the 11th-ranked team in the country if they're getting embarrassed by a team like Utah.
UZI Suicide Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Can someone tell me what the fuck "DISCONCERTING" is and how USC just called a penalty called on them for it?
CanadianChris Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Can someone tell me what the fuck "DISCONCERTING" is and how USC just called a penalty called on them for it? Yeah, I was wondering that myself. All the guy did was shift his position on the line, he didn't try and induce a false start or anything.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Well I'd joke and say it's the Big 12 refs trying to pull for the hometown Big 12 team, but I have no real answer for it.
UZI Suicide Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Arkansas being so mediocre is probably going to cost Darren McFadden the Heisman.
Broward83 Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 and John Parker Wilson just bailed my ass out! ROLL TIDE!
Hawk 34 Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 That 'Bama/Ark game was good stuff and looks like UK/LV will be a good finish as well. Louisville is a fun team to watch since they don't play defense, they let teams hang around. Edit: Oh, man. Duke is actually leading in the 4th quarter. That is exactly what the Big Ten needs to make this year even better, losing to Duke.
MFer Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Looks like it's gonna be another typical USC game...make you think it might be a tight game early, and then blow the other team out in the 2nd half. Oh well...maybe it could've been a better game if Nebraska had picked up those fumbles.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Jesus. Nebraska just cannot stop USC running backs. Makes me wonder why they even bother trying to pass. Hand off to Stafon Johnson and watch the chains move.
Bored Posted September 16, 2007 Author Report Posted September 16, 2007 Holy crap! Louisville's defense bites them on the ass again just when it looked like Kentucky blew it with the personal foul. Still 28 seconds left but Louisville has no timeouts. Edit: Kentucky doesn't go for two which is bizarre to keep it at six points.
fazzle Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 This Louisville/Kentucky game is fucking insane. ...and why did Kentucky not go for 2 there?
