WWE Folder sucks dick

Recommended Posts

Oh, okay, then I retract my earlier statement, though I do not retract my sentiment about your other failures

I never fail... but since you're the board historian, please show me an example of these so called "failures".

But we've gotten completely off-topic, you and I. You know what I don't like about the WWE folder? Not enough praise for THE GREAT KHALI. That guy is a whole lot of something.

Didn't he kill a guy, though?

I haven't watched the E since 2004, but when I saw the thread about John Cena having held the belt for one year (??????), my first thought was "John Cena holds belt for year... in other news, absolutely fucking nothing happened in the last year"

You really want to relive all your previous drunken embarrasments?

Plus you couldn't even quit the board properly

#52. Koko B. Ware's passing hasn't gotten nearly the attention that Chris Benoit's has. Doesn't anyone remember High Energy's feud with The Headshrinkers? That's why I got into this business in the first place.

Nevermind I looked at some old threads I made

Hey, I did quit the board successfully... I'm now like a TSM commentator or correspondent. Just think of Jerome Bettis meets Charles Barkley.

Shit, Tiger could more than bench press me.

He could do whatever he wanted.

He's no Chuck Norris.

WHAT?

Frankie died...

53. The WWE Folder refused to acknowledge the greatness of Cena's son. He is the cleanest pro wrestler ever and he sells a lot of merchandise. Cena's son drew over 100,000+ to Ford Field and the Silverdome.

That's pretty good, comparing wrestling to touring musicians, but I'd go more like rock/porn star. Maybe stuntman, too. In fact, it's exactly like being Steve-O.

Wrestling takes all of the worst elements of the music industry, the porn industry, and professional sports and rolls them up into a nice little package.

22. Everything crappy booked post 1995 was done by Russo, regardless of whether or not he worked for the company. Everything good was probably Heyman.

EL OH EL!

So, Benoit.

Hard to fault WWE for Eddie's drug use; that was a choice he made. Hard, then, to fault them for Eddie's death. Which makes it hard to fault them for that one part of Benoit's depression. You can point to the "culture" in the industry for Benoit's drug/steroid use, but lest we forget, at some point he made a choice. Even if he took steroids and painkillers to make it in the biz, he still decided that was the career he wanted. No one forced Chris Benoit to be a wrestler. They certainly are at least partially guilty for his concussions, and those admittedly seem to be the biggest factor in all of this. I would even go so far as to say the WWE is directly responsible for letting Benoit's brain get damaged to the point it was. But, just remember, there have been hundreds of guys in this business, who fall on their heads, take chairshots, jar their bodies, dive onto concrete, and so on; dozens who have done so at Benoit's level. And, to date, not one of them has killed their families.

So, you can choose to look at it one of three ways. Either this man is a victim of circumstance, led down the path by a vile corporation who cared nothing for him beyond dollar signs, and turned their back when the warning signs showed up (and by the way, nearly everybody interviewed following the events said Benoit exhibited no signs that he'd do something like this); or perhaps this man was evil, a sick human being who gained pleasure by breaking people's necks and causing pain; or maybe, just maybe, an unfortunate set of circumstances led to an unthinkable event that left the whole world shocked. And while the WWE may not have responded in the most apologetic way possible, and while this definitely shows that changes are needed within the industry (and the government seems to be on it), what happened here does not invalidate the entire industry, nor does it make it "wrong" to enjoy it.

This is just my opinion, of course. However, if you're pointing the finger solely at the wrestling business, or at WWE, I feel you're not looking at the whole picture.

This thread fucking blows, by the way. It's as bad as the subject it's mocking. If I ever see cheech on the street, I'm going to kick him in the dick so hard, it turns into a pussy.

I'm just saying, I've got friends in Seattle. If I'm ever up visiting and I see a guy wearing a "cheech" t-shirt (I assume all TSM posters wear shirts with their usernames on them...I do), that fucker's in trouble.

Yeah, this is my mistake. It was actually Koko B. Ware's bird (aka Mr. Bird) that died, not Koko himself. Still, that bird had some pretty memorable moments. Who could forget his WrestleMania IX bout with The Undertaker's vulture (aka Mr. Vulture)? Meltzer gave it three stars, as I recall.
