Scroby 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2007 So I'm stuck in bed for the rest of tonight. I strained my back today at work and decided it's just best for me to stay in bed and relax for the rest of today...so lets talk. How are you today?

theintensifier 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 You strained your back, and you've decided to take it easy. Must be nice. I have a fractured tibia, two completely severed MCL's, and a slightly torn ACL. But, I'm sure you have your reasons to quit for the day.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 I mean, you have a bed too, I presume. Don't be jealous of him now.

I do, I'm ref'ing two wrestlings shows and working the Rocky Horror Picture Show this weekend, so yes, I'd like my back to be in better shape so I'm able to do the shows this weekend. But what happen to you?
theintensifier 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 I tore my left MCL jumping out of a 7-ton truck during a field exercise. I tore my right MCL while doing a double back flip off a balcony. I slightly tore my ACL by catching a 385 pound man on the side of my leg while attempting to save him from hitting his head on the floor. I fractured my tibia by having my leg trapped in a futon as it slammed down. By the way, I was being sarcastic with you earlier.

theintensifier 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 What's even more surprising? I don't take any kind of medication right now for any of my massive list of aches and pains.
Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 Pain meds are for sissies. I bet you wish you had free healthcare Intensifier.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 Pain meds are for sissies. I bet you wish you had free healthcare Intensifier. Pain medication is quite enjoyable when used in moderation.

A slight tear in your Acl is slightly uncomfortable. I have never fractured my tibia but it can't be that bad. Stop being a pussy. If you had been taking some pain meds you would REALLY be a pussy. Right now, the "pussy" comment is only sarcastic. But take ONE fucking pill and sarcasm is gone, pussy.

Scroby 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 Matt Young could blow on them for you. So my back is doing much better now. It still aches a little bit here and there but that's really it. I'm still taking it easy for the rest of tonight just to make sure I don't do anything to suddenly make my back worse again.
theintensifier 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2007 Pain meds are for sissies. I bet you wish you had free healthcare Intensifier. That would be so nice. I'd be able to get my legs fixed, and have my heart operated on. The injury (fracture) to my tibia was very painful at first. But once the swelling, and brusing went down, the pain went away as well. If I bump it, or have something fall on it, I'm in pain, not excessive pain, just discomforting pain.
Guest Gym Class Fallout Report post Posted September 22, 2007 If I bump it, or have something fall on it, I'm in pain, not excessive pain, just discomforting pain. Life is all about choices. It's either (A) You do, or (B) You don't. You're either comfortable, or uncomfortable. It's your choice.
