Jericholic82 Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 I accidentaly watched this last week and it was pretty good, cool to see david and darlene back together again, care less about the 8 simple rules girl (mostly cuz she was from my area when I lived in cali and the local papers always pimped that fact) actualy would rather have 8 simple rules still on the air (I think they did okay after the Ritter death, bringing in James Garner and David SPade)
Hawk 34 Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 How do you accidentally watch something?
Hawkius Maximus Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 I downloaded the episodes of this so far last night. I've had an interest in it, but I haven't been able to see it. This show is great. I love how the main characters are intelligent...yet very stupid and awkward. Makes for a fun combination.
DrVenkman PhD Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 How do you accidentally watch something? I accidentally watched The Office very early in Season 2. I was sick and lying down and didn't feel like changing the channel after Earl. Turned out to be a great call.
Jericholic82 Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 How do you accidentally watch something? well, I happened to turn on my cable box and it was on cbs and I read the tv guide onscreen to see what it was and I was like I think I heard the name of this show before, whats it about? then I saw "David" and "darlene" on screen together and I was like cool, and watched the rest of the show
JohnnyBlaze Posted November 2, 2007 Author Report Posted November 2, 2007 Really not a bad show...the halloween ep was quality...and not sure about your kaley cuoco dislike...i watched her when she was here.
MillenniumMan831 Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Just whipped through the entire series tonight. Good stuff indeed. Some of the stuff the guys say around Penny is cringe-worthy but fantastic at the same time.
bob_barron Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Last nights episode was hilarious, and I think the show is really hitting its stride. I hope the writers strike doesn't hurt it too much. They need to dial down Sheldon a little though, it's at the point where I wonder why someone doesn't just punch him in the face
Cartman Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 I think Sheldon's over-the-top stuff is great actually. The last scene had me rolling.
DrVenkman PhD Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Babu! Anyway, another good episode, but sadly the little Chuck Lorre card at the end (I don't know what their official name is) of "United We Stand" seemed to confirm that this was the last produced episode before the strike (I had read it was either 8 or 9 episodes).
bob_barron Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Next week is a new episode according to cbs.com
DrVenkman PhD Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Well that's good to know. That and Slap Bet should be good times.
MillenniumMan831 Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 Caught the last 20min of the show, not bad at all. I also marked out for Babu. I was waiting for him to wag his finger.
DrVenkman PhD Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 I noticed the other day my digital guide said tonight's episode was a repeat. It (along with CBS.com) now says it's the pilot episode.
bob_barron Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 Next weeks episode is another rerun. I wonder why they don't tape these episodes farther in advance
DrVenkman PhD Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 My guess is as a new series, they needed to make sure they weren't canceled after two episodes.
DrVenkman PhD Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 Commercials on CBS say the show starts back with new episodes on March 17th. That was fast.
