Diamonddust 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 The Rock and Roll Express one is hilarious. Ricky Morton must have set a record for the most swearing in a shoot.
Guest Nitro 24/7 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 Can Anyone Re-up the Jim Mitchell [ROH] shoot. Alot of talk about how good it is but i still havent heard it. Im still looking for the RFV Bruno Samartino if anyone has that and would like to share. I thought the wrestlereunion interviw with him was a piece of shit and I'm sure the RFV one is the total opposite. Yeah The Bruno shoot and the Superstar Billy Graham are the shoots I really wanna hear , but nobody seems to have them

Diamonddust 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2008 I used megaupload a few times yesterday and it seemed to work fine. EDIT: of that massive list Chuck posted, I highly recommend the Matt Hardy shoot. Agreed. The Matt Hardy one is a must-listen.

Jingus 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2008 True, I really shouldn't be such a dick to the n00bs. But look at the last page of this thread. DMN 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2008 I actually joined a few years ago, but mostly lurk. I'd post more, but my thoughts on wrestling are very different than the norm expressed on this board, and I'd rather just not get into it.
Donna30 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2008 Some of the Shoots stink, Thats why its better to download then to buy them, If I hear an entire one here and I like it, Im gonna buy it anyway. I have the Chyna one and was expecting to hear some new stuff about the Steph/HHH thing that involved her that they said it contained new stuff and it was all stuff I had heard before. I would love for a Randy Savage shoot, but really doubt it will come thru.

JJMc 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2008 Just got several shoots in from RF.... Bryan Clark-DUD Not very good at all. Some good tidbits but overall just very nondescript. He didn't hold back on anything, but just not that interesting. The Godwinns-***3/4 Dennis Knight carried most of it as Canterbury seems like kind of a quiet guy, but really cool stuff. Dennis Knight is hilarious and both of them are great to listen to. You can tell they really care about the business. Some great WWF stories. Shane Douglas '98-**1/2 Not bad, as Shane is very eloquent and knowledgeable about the business. But the shoot was less about his career as it was his opinions on the wrestling business. I expected him to be much more opinionated, but overall a thumbs up. This took place at the height of the Monday Night Wars and it was interesting to hear opinions about where the Big Three were headed at that time. Kurt Angle-**3/4 Very interesting to hear his stories about his Olympic training and his years as a college wrestler. He is somewhat long winded which is good but he's also very serious which made the interview drag at times. The WWF years were well covered, but not the most captivating of shoots and a bit disappointing. ________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________ Other recommendations: Steve Blackman (RF, 2008) Steve is a very interesting guy who came up in the 80s, making his way to Calgary, Japan, and later the WWF. His story about surviving a tour of South Africa is unbelievable. Some good stories about Owen Hart and the Stampede guys, Vader, and his martial arts background. Tom Brandi (RF, 2006) Very, very good as Brandi is very entertaining and engaging. Awesome WWF stories and really interesting to hear his stories from the indy scene. Al Snow (RF, 2008) Fucking great.

Mos_Def 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 I am suprised Bryan Clark wasn't a better shoot. I couldnt believe he hit us with the whole "my book is coming out soon" line. A Wrath book?!? I thought the wrestling book trend/scam/hustle went out in 2005. Yeah, it was a disappointing shoot. It seemed like he couldnt wait to get out of that studio and was genuinely uncomfortable. Mos_Def 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2008 Fantastics shoot was pretty disappointing as well. Very casual. Robert Fuller was solid...he's a great story teller but I dont really give a damn about old school Memphis. At least in large doses. Ole was funny, its like that crusty fool just emerged from a cave. So crotchety. He didnt remember much about his career, even major moments like the prolonged Sawyer/Rich feud.
blue2 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2008 Hey Mos Def, why are you not so partial to Old School Memphis? Just wondering, as that is considered one of the greatest periods/eras in wrestling history.
