Henry Spencer Posted December 20, 2007 Report Posted December 20, 2007 I heard Panda Bear's first album. It was a half hour of moaning and structureless guitar strumming. Is Person Pitch a departure from this?

Kinetic Posted December 20, 2007 Report Posted December 20, 2007 I'm trying to reconcile my distaste for almost every aspect (album title, song titles, lyrical content) of Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer? with my fondness for the album itself.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted December 20, 2007 Report Posted December 20, 2007 I heard Panda Bear's first album. It was a half hour of moaning and structureless guitar strumming. Is Person Pitch a departure from this? Yes. I think it's gorgeous psychedelia with vocals that are largely moan-free. Worlds different.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted December 20, 2007 Report Posted December 20, 2007 Re Of Montreal: "The Past Is a Grotesque Animal" is almost a masterpiece, and I recall also really liking "Suffer for Fasion," but I can do without the rest of that album. Particularly the half-assed Prince rip-offs that dominate the back half. In other news, I'm listening to Strawberry Jam again and it's really, really boring. Once more I wonder how they managed to pull off Sung Tongs, in light of everything else.

Giuseppe Zangara Posted December 20, 2007 Report Posted December 20, 2007 Kevin Barnes has a pretty big dick.
Kinetic Posted December 20, 2007 Report Posted December 20, 2007 "A Sentence of Sorts in Kongsvinger" is fun. Shake your ass to that song title. Also: That dick was clearly fluffed prior to exposure.
