Boon 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2007 Whiff-Rod. Man, what a battle and what a game. This is the first full game I've seen Fausto pitch and the dude is absolutely nasty. The last time I saw him, he was blowing saves against the Red Sox. My, how things have changed.

KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2007 (edited) Whoa. Those that have Gameday up right now, what the HELL happened to Shelley Duncan before they took that picture? It looks like he stuck his face on a waffle iron. Edited October 6, 2007 by KingPK

mike546 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2007 It really is amazing how different the Angels play the Red Sox and how they play the Yankees.
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2007 Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the lack of a loud, clear mic'd crowd at Fenway... what the hell, TBS? The 2 run single was miniscule crowd sound wise in comparison to NESN broadcasts. The crowd should be the same as the Indians crowd but the micing is leaving a more subdued sound. Guest Gym Class Fallout Report post Posted October 6, 2007 I agree. The way some statheads talk, the Pythagorean record for a team should almost be the one in the record books, rather than the actual, real life, win-loss record. "Oh, that team just over-performed, or were lucky." "Gee, are you really sure? Are you sure your precious stat metric wasn't just flawed to begin with, since you're trying to predict the future in a sport full of intangibles?" YOU CAN'T MEASURE HEART Ah, I missed Manny's Adventures In Fielding. So are we looking forward to another motherfucking winter of Maybe Trading Manny Ramirez But Eventually Just Keeping Him? ohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease. Nothing warms my heart in the dead of winter like Boston Red Sox fans treating one of their best players as completely disposable.
