Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2007 Shoot, if my cpu wouldn't of crapped out on me I would have made the deadline. Instead I missed it by a few minutes.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2007 Thank you, WF. I won't be against the wall this weekend (as I would have been otherwise). I had the PM already to send this afternoon but then I got called away and wasn't back here in time. Oh well, lucked out.
Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2007 Oh well, I would have gotten my pick wrong anyways.
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2007 God I'm bored tonight. I just went and did a mathematical equation with the MLs of the GT, PSU, and MSU games to figure out that I have a 64.3% chance of winning my matchup this weekend according to the betting lines. I was going to convert it to a moneyline, but somehow I couldn't figure it out tonight even though I know I've done a reverse conversion before.

Bored 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2007 I fully support people gambling on message board pick 'em contests. HarleyQuinn's picks will be used for Ohio State tommorrow if Gert T doesn't submit picks.

CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 Could be a shuffle at the top this week. teke184 and Hawk 34 are both on the verge of losing.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I WON!! Yeah, I beat a winless team, but I actually WON!
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I can't believe Arkansas can't put a lousy point against Auburn and help my cause.
teke184 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I just about hit the OU-Mizzou score on the money. If K-State can take care of business against Colorado, I slip past Kentucky.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I can't believe that score went over 70. They went nuts in the second half.
MFer 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I could've got within a game of .500, but UConn and Stanford both lost by a combined 3 points and my other differing pick (Arkansas) is down in a defensive struggle.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 Thank you ARKANSAS, just don't blow this lead. KSU, keep it up. Edit: Fuck you, Arkansas. So I'll probably drop to #9 this weekend, if I'm even ranked at all.
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 2 minutes away from going 7-0 and Auburn blow it for me, though i'll still be undefeated if Kansas State keep beating Colorado. God damn Auburn. Correction: I love Auburn. 7-0 and (probably) still ranked #1.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I may actually drop with iggy's performance this week.
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I may actually drop with iggy's performance this week. Yeah, pretty happy with my picks this week. Looking at 12-2 if Kansas State holds on. Of those two losses, Wake's the only one I could have gotten as the LSU upset was almost impossible to call.
Broward83 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 Tenn pulls it out in the end and Mich State seemed to have it pretty much in hand all game and I get the win. Prolly did pretty shitty on the rest of my picks, but.. a win is a win.

Bored 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I'll have to check with contest historians teke184 and CanadianChris, but this was probably the most uneventful week in the history of the contest. Only two Top 10 teams go down this week and in 16 of the 20 match-ups the higher ranked team won. So as you can imagine there's not much to talk about when it comes to the Top 10. We do have a couple of 5-2 teams hopping a 6-1 team and finally Fokai is back in the Top 10, barely. Other than that, really just remarkable how to form it went this week. Hopefully it will never happen again. 1. South Carolina - Cuban Linx 3.5 2. LSU - teke184 4.0 3. Oklahoma - Secret Agent 4.35 4. N.C. State - AboveAverage484 4.65 5. Syracuse - CanadianChris 6.05 6. Georgia Tech - iggymcfly 6.7 7. Texas - UTBroward 6.75 8. Miami of Ohio - Hawk 34 7.15 9. Nebraska - Mecca 8.75 10. Hawaii - Fokai 9.65 Other Receiving Votes: Buffalo (Carnival), Florida State (King), Kent State (JHawk), Virginia (Edwin MacPhisto)
teke184 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I think the only thing of significance happening is that Cuban and I are on a collision course to determine the #1 overall seed in the Bored Bowl in a few weeks when we have a rematch. (That will be the SE7 Championship Game, barring a massive run by a team like Alabama or Florida with few league losses.)
