Apparently Shawn thought Shamrock was a goof and beneath him so he specifically would call a spot audibly to do it. The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2007 HBK has been far worse than Batista at getting all sorts of shots without winning. Bear in mind Batista rarely LOSES these matches. It's mostly his opponent getting a DQ, or there's a count out, etc. Or if it's a 4 way someone else is pinned. Since he relinquished the title and came back Booker T. mostly got himself DQed, and Batista lost to UT at WM but the LMS match was a draw and the cage match was a draw. He also faced Khali and Kane jobbed in that 3 way, Khali was DQed at SS, and so on. Shawn Michaels has had title shots for years without ever winning the title. He jobbed to HHH more times than I can recall, or maybe he lost to Benoit in 2004, lost to Cena, and so on. It's like they want to constantly push Michaels but the reality is that he's been injury prone and doesn't want to be on the road, so they can't really put the belt on him. Both Batista this year and HBK in the winter/spring of 2004 went through a syndrome that was basically "I know I didn't win the title that last time, but I was THIS CLOSE". I am fairly certain that from the time Batista lost the title at Wrestlemania to when he won it a little while ago he had around nine title shots of varying stipulations. That's nine tries in around six or seven months. I don't think that has happened before, although maybe WCW might have something like that in its history. Jeff Hardy (HBK is Past, Kennedy is Future, Jeff hardy is the Present) JBL (DUH) Morrison (VIable Contender and I LOVE Him!!!
