Guest Tzar Lysergic Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 So..How about that superbowl loser curse? Bunch of old guys on defense and free agents at important positions? Crumble, you fucks.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Eli Manning's sack escape heave to keep that drive going will be going down as one of the greatest plays in SB history...
Guest Tzar Lysergic Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 And another thing, to all of you Patriots fans on this board, I'm going to rub this shit in ALL of your faces until I die. Rest assured.
Slayer Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Tom fucking Coughlin has a ring How soon until the world collapses
jwpeer Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 I still can't believe the Game winning touchdown came on a fade to Plaxico Burress. If anything that's directly Belicheck's fault for calling that defensive scheme that left him in one on one coverage...you just can't make that mistake. I hope someone asks him about it at the press conference, because that was a terrible call.
Brett Favre Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Eli had a great game too. That throw after he was about to get sacked was incredible, and the catch too by Tyree.
2GOLD Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 So Belichick just left the field and walked away? Classy... God, this press conference is gonna be porn for sports fans. you thought last year was fun? haha wowwwww Guy is one big asshole, I mean seriously. I think that is about the only fucking constant with the Pats anymore. If the Giants defense doesn't get the MVP, something is wrong. Give it to either Strahan or that guy I can't spell the name of. Or hell, Tuck who has been a BEAST the whole playoffs.
bob_barron Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 What a fucking game. I'm still in shock. I can't believe the Patriots lost. Insane
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Can we ban Marvin from this thread? He's like a walking, fat, hairless version of Debbie Downer. STFU. You have a good point, 2Gold but that toss to Tyree is going to be one of the all-time great super bowl plays of all time. Im just sayin.. Plexiglass is notable for choking, going back to his days in Pittsburgh. They didnt give him the nickname Plexiglass for nothing. Oh, and haha..Adalius Thomas didnt win a SB ring. Im sure he's real sad he didnt stay in Baltimore..but..still..HAHA
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Who's the MVP now? I noticed that our poll is slightly off.

USC Wuz Robbed! Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 So does this mean the 85 Bears are still the best one-year team in NFL history?
Mik Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 LOL Agent. Just picture Cartman crying into his Tom Brady jersey. I know it made me smile.
NoCalMike Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 So the Giants made a motherfuckin' fool out of me and my stupid fuckin prediction. Congrats NY Giants and Giants fans. With that said, I think this superbowl will be another one that is mistaken for being "one of the best" merely because of the close score, while the overall game itself was pretty lackluster and mediocre and probably won't stand the test of time. Stats-wise, I don't think anyone was that "great" In other words it reeks of why this era of the NFL is just not on par with the NFL 15-20 years ago. Sure, I am a hater, but I am also drunk so fuck it.......I am sure my opinion will be completely different tomorrow when I sober up.

Are we done. Yeah."
jwpeer Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Who's the MVP now? I noticed that our poll is slightly off. It should be Justin Tuck as the best statistical representative of the Giants' defense Knowing the media, it'll be Eli
bob_barron Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 I remember the nfl was selling 16-0 t-shirts but I didn't see them anymore.
tominator89 Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 As much as I hated rooting for a division rival, I'm glad someone beat THE GREATEST TEAM EVER.
Guest Blue Man Czech Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 So does this mean the 85 Bears are still the best one-year team in NFL history? Yes sir! Let's listen to the Super Bowl Shuffle together.
Mik Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Remember Bill Simmons Celtics vs. Patriots article which was completely written under the guise of a Patriots Super Bowl? Well Fuck him. I can't wait for his next article.

I think the Giants totally shutting down the best offense ever is something to make it more than average. They had a special defensive performance in this game. Defense. Wins. Championships.
strummer Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 What a way to end 18 years of frustration. The 1990 Super Bowl win was the last time one of my favorites won a championship, and this win makes up for the '94 and '99 Knicks, and 2000 Giants and Mets losses. Same here. 18 years since a team of mine has won a championship. I don't know really what the fuck is going on now. This is unbelievable. Fuck Yes!!
hyperchord24 Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 They should've saved some of those points they scored on the Redskins for tonight, huh?
KingPK Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 (edited) Seriously, there were like four plays the Giants made that I still don't know how the fuck they did it. Eli chucked n' prayed and it fell his way. A defensive player should most definitely win MVP. Congrats to the Giants for the biggest upset in sports history (and fuck you to the Pats for a choke worse than the '04 Yankees; the o-line shouldn't even bother coming back). Pitchers and catchers report in 11 days. Edited February 4, 2008 by KingPK
2GOLD Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Can we ban Marvin from this thread? He's like a walking, fat, hairless version of Debbie Downer. STFU. You have a good point, 2Gold but that toss to Tyree is going to be one of the all-time great super bowl plays of all time. That happened because of Tyree. Great escape hell yes, but an ill advised throw made good by an unbelievable catch. Those Giant receivers are downright amazing and got to be one of the most impressive groups in the NFC. You got speedsters, tall ass speedsters and underneath speedsters. What is Tyree? The four receiver? And I won't call it a choke job by the Patriots cause that would take away from what the Giants defense did. They overpowered and bull rushed the Pats finesse line. That was a clinic out there.
Guest Blue Man Czech Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Remember Bill Simmons Celtics vs. Patriots article which was completely written under the guise of a Patriots Super Bowl? Well Fuck him. I can't wait for his next article. "America just hates us for being great. You know how much they hate us? You know how good Brady is? That's how much they hate us. They Tom Brady hate us."
Slayer Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 so, as the Patriots major upset of the Rams led to the Pats dynasty, will this upset become a similar transition, or are we going back to one-year wonder teams again?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Does this mean Eli Manning gets to do 700 billion TV commercials this year? Or will they stick Eli with Peyton in those ads?
The Niggardly King Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 So Manning the Younger wins the SB faster than his brother and by playing better football than his brother Amazing Eli is better than Happy Feet Peyton, even Peyton has said Eli is going to become a better QB than him.
