It's a pretty great album, worthy of this draft, though I'm not going to pick it. I recommend it.

It's Bob Marley, what else needs to be said? Arguable whether this is his best CD but it's my personal favorite and is a great vibe to have on an island.

"Doesn't quite measure up"???? The rest of that album outright sucks. Check; the title track is decent. (but long)

"Unplugged in New York" by Nirvana Good thing live albums are alright to pick. I've never claimed to be a big Nirvana fan, but I always thought this was a hell of an album. It also plays into my bias towards acoustic arrangements.

And that's two picks now (Blood on the Tracks over Swordfishtrombones would be the other) where I was absolutely convinced beyond all reason that an album would still be there for the next round, only to have Ravenbomb fuck up the whole thing.

Anybody think we should cut this to 12 hours like some of the other drafts? Round 16 has taken two weeks.

Not my 2nd favorite Bon Jovi album but I can't live without 'Wanted Dead Or Alive' so this gets the nod as my second album by my favorite band.

"Challengers" by The New Pornographers The New Pornographers are probably my favorite band around right now, and I think this is their best album yet. If not best, then a close second to Mass Romantic. But I'm going to say it's the best, because I'm picking this one and it'd be stupid to say "there's this other album that's better" in my "why I picked this album" blurb. Hope you guys don't mind, but I'm going to skip PMing Orange Goblin this round.

And Naked's album was a favorite of mine back when I was in college...and there is a really sweet memory around the whole album...one I'd like to have on a desert island with me.

I think it's already pretty well established that many of the albums that people would be competing for are already off the board; if people are just going to be rounding out their collections with personal favorites or bizarre obscurities, then there's no point in taking another month to run through the useless formality of rounds.
