MillenniumMan831 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Did anyone else spot Vladimir (sp?) in the crowd before the 8-man tag? I swear that guy hasn't aged a day in over 20 years.
garfieldsnose Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 RE: MITB and TNA's title shot cases.... To me, MITB's rules are fairly obvious and simple. With TNA, there was a long, unnecessary, drawn out, complicated ordeal. It's just annoying going back and forth with the damn thing. There can't really be a good comparison of the WWE and TNA's "MITB" type angle.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Exactly...I didn't even know they were doing a MITB type thing. I thought it was just another title shot that no one would ever get.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 The crowd cheers Rhino for cheating...but boo the Dudleys... Double Standard. Rhino goring the ref was cool though. They build up to it nicely and the crowd loved it.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Cornette has a dry erase board in his office that says "ppv Lockdown 4/13/08" That rules.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 About Storm, when he first started talking in AMW and just said "Sorry, about your damn luck" it felt forced. Then they added Jackie to the mix, and somehow he learned to have charism. (sp?) That shows it can be taught.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Cornetter has a dry erase board in his office that says "ppv Lockdown 4/13/08" That rules. I think he stole that from Woody Paige on AROUND THE HORN.
garfieldsnose Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 I'm sorry but I will never see the entertainment behind TNA having certain wrestlers copy old WWF gimmicks. Vice versa.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 I love SharkBoy, but not really "Stone Cold" SharkBoy. In fact, I almost want them to end Black Machismo. Brooks looks good tonight, and she can sometimes look busted.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Wow, a storyline in the Knockouts division other then over the title. I like that they are concentrating on other people within the division.
garfieldsnose Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 If everything goes down the way I want it to, Lockdown may be the 3rd ever TNA DVD I buy.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 That's one of the positives of Russo. Pretty much everyone on the roster is doing something. It's working well at the moment because the top 2 storylines are strong. Other stuff like Lethal/Dutt/SoCalVal, Steiner/Petey, Super Eric/Kaz/Monsters, Kong/ODB/Kim, The rest of the knockouts, Rough Cut can just be some filler...but at least they're trying to give them stories to get over.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 I still think that it's awesome that ODB is the first Knockout with her own shirt.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 They sure have a lot of women on this roster. Anybody miss Karen Angle? ...yeah me neither.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 With the way things are in WWE, I never thought that seeing female wrestlers rushing the ring garner such pops. Roxy is really good looking I must say.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 The past few weeks she hasn't looked bad. Not the best looking, but not a dog.
Matt Young Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Kurt Angle: "Now, knowing that Samoans are lying sons of bitches..." LMFAO! Also, Rhaka Kahn is fucking hot.
Steviekick Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 This has been one of the most quotable Impacts ever.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 A reverse cage match. I just don't get it.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Queen of the Cage sounds pretty cool, but the concept sounds like shit.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 At least they'll be having an actual match to finish it off. Since it's harder to get in a cage than into a ring...maybe we won't have those terrible moments where a guy has a free shot at getting into the ring...and stands there because he's not booked to.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 so, who wins the Queen of the Cage. The only person I can see winning it right now is Traci Brooks. Plus, by adding this match, almost everyone on the roster must be on the show, but in a good way. This card is pretty stacked, and I'm excited for it.
Steviekick Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Or maybe ODB to continue their mini feud.

cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Storm is a good old-school heel. Doing the little things to cheat, thumb to the eye, low blow and so on.
Steviekick Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Looks like Matt Morgan is joining Team Cage.
cd213 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 I really like that Suplex into a a Uranogy(sp?) that Morgan just did.
