cheetoe Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Is Lil Bush funny? It is until you realize how close the toon is to the real life president. Then it makes you cry. It's pretty hilarious.
The Truthiness Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Last time JBL/Cena wrestled at Judgement Day it was awsome.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 ECW "Warriors"? Does that mean Kennedy and HHH are going to be outside the locker room clanking bottles together asking them to "come out and PLAAAYYY!"?
dubq Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Kennedy looks a lot thinner compared to the last time I saw him on TV.
fazzle Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 "Elijah Burke has 13 choices when he tags out" ...and he goes right to Matt Striker. Burke's not the brains of the team, is he?
Vampiro69 Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 I didn't know that Knox was still with the company after what went down recently.
dubq Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 I think they determined that they weren't Knox's drugs.
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 I didn't know that Knox was still with the company after what went down recently. He just might owe Santino a big Thank You.
Hawk 34 Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 I didn't know that Knox was still with the company after what went down recently. He's also getting a push. To be fair, nothing really happened with that story.
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 It's Sabu!!! No, wait... Well, he still likes to destroy furniture...
Exslade ZX Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Orton looked like a giddy little school boy the way he jumped up after that RKO.
The Truthiness Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Trips beat the shit out of the whole ECW roster.
cheetoe Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Trips beat the shit out of the whole ECW roster. Sad as it sounds, people on TSM have been predicting that since the reboot.
dubq Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 I think Orton needs to go back to the drawing board with his whole "quiet psychotic" look thing that he's been doing.
JPopStarKami Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Trips beat the shit out of the whole ECW roster. With a chair. Could've been worse, like the night HHH and Orton pinned half the Raw roster.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 I'm not big on Kennedy, but beating him now, in his first match back after being away and when he appeared to be gaining steam as a face, was beyond stupid. Especially when he got beat Chavo Guerrero of all people.
dubq Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Trips beat the shit out of the whole ECW roster. Sad as it sounds, people on TSM have been predicting that since the reboot. Better than the alternative, IMO.

Especially when he got beat Chavo Guerrero of all people. He was against 14 fucking people. What is with you people and guys losing matches?
ChrisMWaters Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Trips beat the shit out of the whole ECW roster. With a chair. Could've been worse, like the night HHH and Orton pinned half the Raw roster. That was Cena/Orton. Also, even though it's not in a smaller venue...that was sorta an ECW-ish ending. Lights go out, come back on, someone's in the ring.
frostdude1 Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 My buddy who's at Raw just texted me saying that the dark match is Orton vs Jericho

Booking 101 says you don't beat a guy who just turned face.
The Amazing Rando Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 I'm not big on Kennedy, but beating him now, in his first match back after being away and when he appeared to be gaining steam as a face, was beyond stupid. Especially when he got beat Chavo Guerrero of all people. I think the fact that he took a chokeslam and a frog splash and was going against 14 other people sort of negates this argument. It's not like he just got pinned by some scrub. He was put in a situation where him winning would have actually been worse overall because it was 2 vs. 14. A non-finish would have been a bit of a cop-out after last week and earlier in the night. ECW had to win. About the just turning face thing...I still don't think it hurts him. He's playing underdog due to Regal's massive amount of power. He'll be fine.

Booking 101 says you don't beat a guy who just turned face. Where is that book at? Did they have it in 1985, when Dibiase turned face in Mid South and lost to Flair, after being screwed by Murdoch? I'm sure losing to a whole roster didn't damage Kennedy in the least.
DrVenkman PhD Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Booking 101 also says 2 guys don't beat 14, and HHH certainly wasn't losing. You could say "then they could just not book the match", but in theory it was a good way to get the roster some TV exposure and advertise the 100th episode. I also looked at it like Kennedy was actually beaten by Kane and Chavo just happened to do extra damage and pick up the pinfall. "The Cutler did it!" was amazing. In reference to some above banter about Katie Lea, I'm pretty sure she's been called Burchill's sister from day 1. They weren't on Raw for a few weeks, then when they came back they dropped Burchill from her name, but still call her that on commentary.
