luke-o Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Son of a fuck stain Skies of Arcadia was going to be my next pick! Had to think fast: Sonic 3 (Sega Mega Drive, 1994) The best of the Sonic platformers on the Mega Drive and it introduces my favourite character Knucles.
BUTT Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Just a really fun N64 game with an awesome, unique premise (a truck is filled with explosive weapons to transport them to where they can be safely dumped, but if it hits anything, it blows up, so you have to drive around in a variety of vehicles and demolish everything in its way).
Black Lushus Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 hey good pick, Blast Corps is one of those under the radar games that are really really good and a lot of people miss out...so with that being said, I thank you for the idea of underrated games and give you: Zack & Wiki: Quest For Barbaros' Treasure-just a fun fun game with some honest to god hard ass puzzles...if you own a Wii and haven't played this game yet, shame on you. Plus nowadays it's 20 bucks NEW. Get on it folks! by the way, what's with Capcom and pointing characters?
Dr. Zoidberg Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Fuuuuuck, I need to think about what games I actually still play.... Hitman: Blood Money The first Hitman game I played was, I think, Hitman 2. That made me hate the entire idea of the Hitman game series (mainly, cos I reallllllly sucked at it). Then I played Hitman: Blood Money at a friend's house, and I got HOOKED. I even went so far as to steal the game from him. BTW, he never noticed it was gone.
CanadianChris Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Back when I had a PlayStation, this was my favourite game for it. At the time, there wasn't a single game that made use of the analog sticks as well as: Ape Escape (PS)
luke-o Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Ape Escape and Zack and Wiki are good picks. Kudos to you sirs.
jwest27 Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Time to finally go next-gen. Mass Effect Xbox 360, 2007 Just an excellent game. Not perfect, but still really good. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Xbox 360, 2007 I don't have a FPS yet, and this is one of the best I've ever played.
The Man in Blak Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Yeah, that's just sick. *crosses the top two picks off of his list*
CanadianChris Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 I can't count the number of hours I wasted on the NES version of this game in my teenage years... Tecmo Super Bowl (SNES)
Dr. Zoidberg Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 My next pick, and I'm surprised it's still around: Halo
Black Lushus Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Double Dragon Advance -took the concept of the two arcade games, mixed in some elements from Super Double Dragon and made the ultimate bad ass Double Dragon game.
BUTT Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 I find the recent 3D Zeldas like Wind Waker and Twilight Princess to be tedious at times, but Four Swords Adventures is fun all the way. Nothing special in the graphics department, but great except for the GBA-only multiplayer. This needs a DS sequel (which was at one time anounced, then apparently canceled). Or Wii Ware!
luke-o Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 Bust-A-Move 2 (Various, 1995) In my eyes, the best puzzle game ever made. And one that I am suprised has lasted this long.
Cran Da Maniac Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 Animal Crossing Fun Game, could play for days on end, put away, and then come back to it.
alfdogg Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 I'm assuming luke-o meant Bust a Move 2. Because Parappa the Rappa is not a puzzle game.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 I was going to take COD4. Then when that went I was planning on taking Animal Crossing. ... Fuck you guys. Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion
luke-o Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 That's not Parappa the Rappa! I changed my mind on the pick. And then didn't change the name
Jer Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 Ms. Pac-Man (Arcade, 1981) Because while the fighting games I'm waiting to play have changed over the years, the game I play while my quarter's in the queue has stayed the same. It's older than I am and yet it's still fun to play to this day.
Youth N Asia Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 I can still play this game for hours on end
foleyfanforever88 Posted June 27, 2008 Author Report Posted June 27, 2008 Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 - Wii
Jer Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 Ms. Pac Man? What's wrong with: Pfft, Ms. Pac-Man is the pinnacle of manliness.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 For the record, yes I have actually owned the Barbie NES game. So I'm just joking around here about Ms Pac Man.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted June 29, 2008 Report Posted June 29, 2008 The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Xbox Katamari Damacy, PS2
luke-o Posted June 29, 2008 Report Posted June 29, 2008 Good choice on the second one. Not so much on the first.
