Craig Th Posted June 30, 2008 Author Report Posted June 30, 2008 American Chopper: The Series I love everything about this show. Ever since I caught a marathon of it on Discovery HD, I couldn't stop watching.
CanadianChris Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 I think enough of a precedent has been set to allow me to take this and have enough programming to last me until just about the end of time: Hockey Night in Canada
Youth N Asia Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 I was hoping that American Chopper would go unnoticed a little longer
treble Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 Andy Richter Controls the Universe Only 19 episodes, but a hilarious show. Hopefully we get a DVD release sometime.
Jebus Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 My Name is Earl Funny and original. Love the characters.
the pinjockey Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 Picking from work again so no pic Project Greenlight Each season provided some solid entertainment: completely overwhelmed guy in season 1, douchebaggery at it's highest form in the season 2 director pairing and whatever the hell Gulager was in season 3. And of course Chris Moore's ass breaking a chair.
Darthtiki Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 Pee Wee's Playhouse Despite Paul Reuben's "extracurricular" activities, this was a creative and fun kids show that featured something for everyone.
Nighthawk Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Metalocalypse I've been debating this one, since I'm not sure how many fans are in this draft, but adult swim has been going around, so the time is right. Nowhere near as good as Venture Bros., but I love the hell out of this show. Probably more personal to me, with the in-jokes and what not. Also one of the legit best bands around.
Jebus Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Canadian Brandon's time has passed. Gosunkugi can go...
Canadian Brandon Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Mad TV I need a skit show and this one has some classic moments. Better at the beginning of its run, but still some funny new stuff too.
Mecha Mummy Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once; 'Allo 'Allo! I still lack a traditional sitcom, so I'll pick this one up. I've only seen the first three seasons but they are pretty much the old school, catchphrase and wacky misunderstanding-based sitcom formula done to absolute perfection. Even if the later seasons aren't as good (the third season was showing signs of humor decay), it gives me more stuff to watch for the first time, and when it's funny it's pretty fucking funny. Plus, it has Herr Flick, probably my favorite fictional Nazi of all time. The top of a very crowded field, for sure.
Youth N Asia Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 Mole. I might not be internet good for a couple of days, if I can't make my picks can I PM them to you and have you do them for me on my behalf?
CanadianChris Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 Canadian Brandon has missed; Milky is up now, followed by Darthtiki in about 6 hours. Come on, let's get this thing back on the rails.
Mecha Mummy Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 Canadian Brandon has missed; Milky is up now, followed by Darthtiki in about 6 hours. Come on, let's get this thing back on the rails. Wait, what? Canadian Brandon just went before me, isn't it C Dubya's turn?
Jebus Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 You're right, it was C Dubya's turn that passed. So now, gWIL is good to go.
CanadianChris Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 Sorry, my bad. I was looking in the wrong direction. So it's gWIL, then Jorge Gorgeous in 5 hours.
godthedog Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 '30 rock' is a really good pick for anyone who's upset they didn't get to pick 'arrested development'. cause it's exactly the same show.
BlackFlagg Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 that's quite past Jorge's 12 hour mark so Youth is up
Youth N Asia Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 Prison Break. Don't care how dumb this show gets from time to time, I love it. T-Bag is the best villain on tv right now
Craig Th Posted July 4, 2008 Author Report Posted July 4, 2008 '30 rock' is a really good pick for anyone who's upset they didn't get to pick 'arrested development'. cause it's exactly the same show. AD is ten times funnier than 30 Rock.
Nighthawk Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 That was implied by what he said. Also, update the picks in the first post. It's been a long time.
Craig Th Posted July 5, 2008 Author Report Posted July 5, 2008 Yeah, I was just about to. I haven't been using the computer much lately.
Youth N Asia Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 Repo Man missed his pick long ago, and he was PM'd
BlackFlagg Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 guess that means I'm up, eh? Well I need my share of 80's cheese, so... MacGyver What do I really need to say?
BlackFlagg Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 and for my sketch comedy needs... In Living Color Can't think of much to say, just love the show.
Nighthawk Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 I think SVU is the first time I've legitimately been burned in this draft. I totally thought I was going to get it.
Darthtiki Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 I was going to take In Living Color on my next pick...dammit.
Youth N Asia Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 I think SVU is the first time I've legitimately been burned in this draft. I totally thought I was going to get it. Surprised it lasted as long as it did. Completely forgot about it myself
