Guest Shadow Report post Posted June 24, 2002 KOTR Finals: Brock Lesnar d. Rob Van Dam to win the 2002 King of the Ring That looks so wrong, and makes me want to cry. Damn right it is. My brother (who is an even bigger RVD fan than I am) nearly broke our TV screen after Brockberg pinned RVD. And yes, King Brock=King Mabel. More simularties- just like King Mabel, King Brock is getting a title shot at Summerslam (remember the horrible Diesel-Mabel match at Summerslam '95). And just like that, ahem, classic, this will fail miserably. Why WWE is choosing to push someone who's not over instead of someone who is crazy-over is beyond me. Actually, wait, I know- it's because RVD got over on his own, using moves he picked up along the way and got success in ECW before coming to the WWE, while Brock was a homegrown talent from WWE's developmental system. Again, FUCK the WWE.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Now I COULD see HHH vs Lesnar vs Rock vs RVD in a FATAL 4 way as the Main Event. But the WWE is way too stupid to do something like that. That would be just ugly for poor Rob.
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Now I COULD see HHH vs Lesnar vs Rock vs RVD in a FATAL 4 way as the Main Event. That isn't such a bad idea. It would probably draw more than the smark wet dream of RVD vs. _____. So of course it will never happen.

Guest Shadow Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Hey.... if Lesnar had an era, wouldn't that mean he would no longer be the NEXT Big Thing? Lesnar isn't the Next Big Thing, he's the Next Big Loser. PUSH THE TALENT THAT'S OVER! Holy shit, it's not THAT hard, Vince! Fuck, I'm so pissed off at the KOTR Finals booking, I can't even enjoy an HHH match! Grrr, fuck you WWE! I like spiked dildos violating my cornhole? Might as well have; It's kind of, like, she's saying "Savagely pentetrate my baby factory" and im saying "ok." I would make a HHHater comment, but I really try hard not to be an annoying HHHater. (I know there are some) Well, even I admit that this match is boring, but I still think it's more Taker's fault than Hunter's. He's already proven he can have a good match with the right opponent (see: Angle, Kurt and Jericho, Chris). He's not a liability in the ring like Taker or Hogan, but I do admit that he can't carry anyone either. I know HHH isn't as good as a wrestler as Angle or Jericho or Benoit, I'm not an idiot, but that's only one part of the equation nowadays.

Guest King_TIL Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Heyman sure is getting the title over in his commentary I'm not watching the show, so is that sarcasm? Sometimes it doesn't come through the computer screen too well.
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Taker-HHH needs a good old fashion boring chant from the crowd to liven things up. I was just watching some of WCW's Spring Stampede '99, and the Whipwreck-Riggs contest had an AWESOME "Boring" chant that clearly embarassed the announcers. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Well Well Well. Here we are. You know...someone really should have turned to Vince during the Brock vs. Test match (which incidentally followed one of the best WWE matches of the year...although having the letters RVD in the Match of the night is certainly nothing new in the year 2002)... Anyway...someone should have turned to Vince during that TERRIBLE HEATLESS SHITFEST that was Brock vs. Test and said..."You know, Vince...I don't think this is going to workout". RVD WAS SOOOOOO OVER in the opening. Listening to the Rock come out now...and HHH having come out just minutes earlier...HE WAS THE MOST OVER PERSON IN THE BUILDING TONIGHT (except for Hogan...but what are you going to do). So Summerslam is Brock main eventing? Ok...I quit. They DON'T WANT TO FIX THINGS. It has never been more obvious than this moment...as Taker and HHH try to outdo Brock vs. Test for worst match of the night. Brock: He's not over...He's not good...He looks lost out there... DAMN...HE should fit this Main Event scene PERFECTLY.
Guest AnnieEclectic Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Oh.... okay. Severly penetrate my baby factory. I do believe if I said that to my girlfriend, she'd either slap me or laugh. I dont wish to try it. -Annie
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted June 24, 2002 It looks like they're SLOWLY settin up Brock vs. Rock Rocky would do a much better job of getting Brock over than RVD, Trips or Taker could.
Guest LesnarLunatic Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Heyman sure is getting the title over in his commentary I'm not watching the show, so is that sarcasm? Sometimes it doesn't come through the computer screen too well. Heyman was talking about how Undertaker worked so hard to keep his title, getting Lawler to admit that he'd sell 9 out of his 12 ex-wifes for a title shot, and so forth. Guest AnnieEclectic Report post Posted June 24, 2002 There's a LOT of time left in the PPV, anyone smell a weird ending with the Rock and whoever wins? -Annie
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 24, 2002 "That just proves my point about this being more Taker's fault than Hunter's. " Takers had more good matches since HHH came back than HHH has. Especially vs. RVD...but no one wants to give RVD any credit. You can't have it both ways. Guest Shadow Report post Posted June 24, 2002 It looks like they're SLOWLY settin up Brock vs. Rock....I think RVD will get the SS shot back before SS. I agree, I think they just wanted to give Brock the KOTR title- but if you want to do that, why have the SS title shot on the line at all. Bah, the WWE's booking is one big mess. And Rock's attack on Taker makes sense to me, before the rants start about it- one of Rock's last feuds before he left was with Taker, leading up to No Way Out '02, remember? Wouldn't mind seeing another HHH-Rock feud, seems they might be setting up to that here.
