Art Sandusky Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 http://drudgereport.com/flashacn.htm Ann Coulter is dead to NBC. "Controversialist?" Is that what we call crazy fucks on the fringes now?
At Home Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Well, everything she thinks is only a means to get attention, so I'm content with controversialist.
Art Sandusky Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 I don't know why it has to be dignified with a title, no matter who's doing it. How 'bout "Fucknuts?"
Jobber of the Week Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 The traditional term is "shit disturber."
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 I cant wait for Glenn's new show on Fox News, if for nothing else than it will at at least be in HD. 5pm is a terrible time slot and it doesnt get a replay, so I have no idea how the ratings will go.
PUT THAT DICK IN MY MOUTH! Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 if for nothing else than it will at at least be in HD What a terrible waste of perfectly useful technology.
godthedog Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 things like news programs and game shows really have no business being in HD. they just make everybody look 5 years older.
The Niggardly King Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 bob barker looked like death during his last days on PIR
Timmy8271 Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 When did CNN fire Beck? Well he's right at home on Fox. Is Huckabee's show still on?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 When did CNN fire Beck? Well he's right at home on Fox. Is Huckabee's show still on? As far as I know, CNN just didn't renew his contract at the end of last year and took his show off early when word leaked he had gotten a deal with FOX.
Dobbs 3K Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 Heard Limbaugh on the radio today, rambling about Obama trying to be Abraham Lincoln. What the hell does that even mean?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 You'd have to be blind to not somehow see the comparisons to Lincoln, his image consulting team is being pretty blatant about it. Obama was traveling to the capital by retracing the final stages of the train trip Lincoln made to assume the presidency, beginning the fanfare for an inaugural celebration in which the Great Emancipator will be an unmistakable presence. With an official theme for the festivities taken from the Gettysburg Address, Obama will appear at the martyred president's memorial for a televised concert, take the oath of office on a Bible used by Lincoln and even attend an inaugural luncheon that will feature favorite Lincoln foods. Obama's references to Lincoln go back to his presidential campaign announcement speech on the steps of the Old State Capitol in Springfield, Ill., the site of Lincoln's famous "house divided" speech. During the campaign, the Obama operation invoked Lincoln to respond to criticism that the freshman senator had little national political experience and to reinforce the historic nature of his candidacy without emphasizing his race. Link Lincoln's 200th birthday would be next month too.
godthedog Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 he's drawing a lot of lincoln comparisons lately. he's been studying up on lincoln's decision-making apparently, and the gettysburg address is supposedly the inspiration for his inaugural speech. just because of the weird media coverage he's getting, he might end up being the first postmodern president (i.e., the first president entirely thought of as a mix of other presidents who have come before him). 3 weeks ago, he was FDR. now he's lincoln. maybe in 6 months he can be truman.
Guest Smues Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 I've already seen Obama/JFK silver dollars for sale on TV, so that makes three. Maybe when the super ultra uber limited edition Obama/Taft silver dollar comes out I'll buy one.

I guess that would leave Clinton 14 months from now.
A.BUTCHER'S HOUSE OF RIBS Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 It was funny to see on every channel you could hear people booing and singing Hey Hey Goodbye to Bush. Yet when I switched to Fox news you couldn't hear any boos or anyone singing.
Dobbs 3K Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Fox News is like the captain staying with the sinking ship until the very end.
snuffbox Posted January 21, 2009 Author Report Posted January 21, 2009 When Teddy Kennedy was carted out of that big luncheon, Keith Olbermann wasted so much time rambling about a mysterious hospitalization that Obama broke the news in his speech by offering his prayers, etc for Vicky and the family. I guess sometimes it's best to just let the new president give his speech rather than elaborate further on what may have happened. I thought they learned about letting him host these kinds of events last summer.
Art Sandusky Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Ann Coulter appearances on non-Fox outlets are difficult to watch. I want to see her just go off on the most batshit tangents possible but it never gets out if you're surrounded by people who've relied on more than what their older relatives told them about how the world works. Let Ann speak so I can fantasize about gagging her with my marxist cock.
SuperJerk Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Fox News is like the captain staying with the sinking ship until the very end. Fox went all out on a news segment I saw yesterday to let people know why the new proposed stimulus package wound probably fail. The, to reinforce the point, they brought out Brit Hume to offer a special commentary on why the economic stimulus package couldn't possibly work. To say the coverage was one-sided would be generous.
SuperJerk Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 I never realized until now how racist I am because I want Obama to be successful....
SuperJerk Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 From FoxNews.com "There are big things that unify Republicans and Democrats," the official said. "We shouldn't let partisan politics derail what are very important things that need to get done." That wasn't Obama's only jab at Republicans today. Wait....whut?
hyperchord24 Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 This whole "Rush Limbaugh doesn't want Obama to succeed" is really spiraling out of control. I don't think Obama wants to acknowledge the like of Rush because that just going to draw attention to him. I get the pleasure of listening to him because my boss listens to him and all this talk of wanting Obama top fail just stems from him towing the campaign line about Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright and socialism. He wants Obama to fail because he doesn't want a socialist government. Listening to him can be entertaining. At times.
At Home Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 No, he wants Obama to fail because he doesn't want a Democrat as president.
hyperchord24 Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 No, he wants Obama to fail because he doesn't want a Democrat as president. All he wants is to stir shit up and draw attention to himself. That is the only reason why he said it. I'm convinced that no one really knows his political views because all of what he says is pandering to the base. He knows that and gets ratings because of it.
SuperJerk Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 Rush Limbaugh doesn't pander to the base, he tells the base what to think.
Dobbs 3K Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 I have an uncle who swears up and down that Limbaugh actually used to be a liberal who came up with his on air conservative persona as a joke. I don't think any of that is true, but it ultimately wouldn't surprise me.
SuperJerk Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 According to Rush, his views were formed by listening to his father when he was a child. So, basically, the future of the Republican Party is being guided by the rantings of a rural Missouri lawyer during the 1950s.
SuperJerk Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 (edited) This cartoon appeared in the New York Post yesterday. Everyone thinks the monkey represents Obama, but why are the cops shooting it then? And why would the Post print something obviously racist if the monkey is Obama? I don't get the cartoon at all. edit: The Post explained it was a reference to a recent wild monkey attack, and that the stimulus bill looked like it was written by monkeys (again, WTF?). Speaking of monkeys... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNiIOcCBpjI As if we need more proof that John Gobson is an asshole, did he really just say the Attorney General had a "bright blue scrotum"...you know...like a monkey... Wait...what? edit2: This was also debunked. Edited February 21, 2009 by SuperJerk
