Bored 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2008 At this time last week I was barely conscious and was unable to expound on how incredibly tight things were. After last year where Cuban Linx crushed everyone in his path on his way to the Bored Bowl, this year is shaping as possibly the most competitive season yet. Going into this week I could see anyone in the Top 7, and maybe even Top 8, showing up at #1 following Week 10. As we now see, everyone in the Top 7 won but that doesn't mean there aren't changes. Not surprisingly the lackluster performances of AlwaysPissedOff and Vampiro69 in their victories hurt them as both see their rankings drop. On the other side things the strong showings by Hawk 34 and iggymcfly both pay some dividends. But they are not the big winners this week as that goes to our new #1 and the sixth different player at the top of the rankings this year. Just three weeks left on the regular season schedule. I'll start going over conference championships and bowl pictures after next week. Bored Championship Series Rankings thru Week 10 1. Arizona - UZI Suicide 2.4 2. Nebraska - Mecca 2.75 3. Miami of Ohio - Hawk 34 2.9 4. N.C. State - AboveAverage484 3.1 5. Georgia Tech - iggymcfly 3.3 6. Alabama - AlwaysPissedOff 5.4 7. Ball State - Vampiro69 5.55 8. Virginia - Edwin MacPhisto 7.5 9. Tennessee - Canadian Brandon 9.55 10. LSU - teke184 10.9 Other Receiving Votes: Arizona State (still fly), Fresno State (Agent Bond34), Indiana (Tzar Lysergic), Syracuse (CanadianChris)

Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2008 Texas Tech should've went for 2 at the end. Not to mention Texas should've kicked the PAT at the end of the 3rd quarter. Thanks for costing me a win, guys.

Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2008 Holy crap. I was drunk as hell in a bar on Saturday night (a bar that went berserk when Crabtree made that catch-and-run, by the by) and had completely forgotten about what my tiebreak was. I had thought the game would be 41-31 when I was predicting.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2008 I went most of that game thinking I had predicted 72, so I was doing mental calculations for the rest of the game's scoring. I ended up checking in the 4th, and suddenly rooting for more scores.
