JHawk 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2009 CubbyBr and the Ghost of bps21 are the only ones who got all five winners correct, as most of us had Phoenix winning the women's match and ending up with four out of five. Rey was officially in the match when he was announced, but I'm assuming his timer didn't begin until Morrison also entered and the bell rang, right? Also correct, because the match doesn't officially start until the bell rings. Something like that is a judgment call. Obviously WWE will claim Santino broke "Warlord's" record for quickest elimination. But if we start from the time entered in the ring, then Ric Flair didn't actually quite hit the one hour mark in 1992. I was actually considering calling it a tie based off of that grey area (and because WWE can never get it straight themselves either), but nobody actually picked Mysterio as the answer to that question. korndogg123 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2009 Man, I changed my mind on those bonus questions so many times before posting my final decisions. I'm just surprised the WWE would put so much cannon foddder in this year when jobbers have been left out in the past for more star power. RVD was one hell of a surprise. But why are they holding up Umaga's return? And wow, so much star power going in early. And I'll bet nobody expected half of the people to be left when #30 entered. haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2009 Someone do me a favor, and remind me of how long Chris Benoit lasted in the 2004 Rumble? I swear I remember it being over an hour, although I realize Rey Mysterio was the new holder of the iron man accolade for obvious reasons.

The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2009 I think there's something to be said for the fact that I follow TNA more than pretty much anyone and even I can't figure out what they're doing...but I can nail every WWE match and I only watch RAW on fast forward. cd213 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 bps, I'm with you on that. As bad as people say TNA is, they seem to be less predictable at times, especially on the PPV.

fazzle 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 a tiebreaker question for the last PPV of the season? Something along the lines of guessing the total in-ring time of the matches maybe?
TheFranchise 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 Split the prize?
CubbyBr 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 What if, in the case of a tie, you just go back and add up all of the individual points for both people, excluding the five bonus points for correctly guessing full PPV's? Person that has the most individual points wins.
King Kamala 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2009 Split the prize? As a non-participant, I support this idea. Especially if one of the winners goes to the other's house and ambushes him and steals his part of the prize ala Bad News Brown at WrestleMania IV.
JHawk 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2009 Since splitting the prize seems to be getting the most support, that's probably the way it'll go. I really do not anticipate a tie, but it is certainly a possiblity with PPVs to go in season one.
