HarleyQuinn Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Glad to see the Colts knocked out... now if only the Chargers/Steelers both get knocked out. It's the dislike of those teams from a Pats fan POV but... Darren Sproles is for real. I could watch him play any Sunday... the only guy I like on the Chargers.
garfieldsnose Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 I was pulling for the Ravens today but after reading the continuous bullshit Marvin is spouting, I really hope they lose. Fans like Marvin don't deserve a winning team. And these retards on ESPN'S NFL Live make me dumber by the minute. Praising Brett Favre and sympathizing with Donovan McNabb vs. the Eagle fans shows exactly why these guys don't know shit. Handle the years with poise and class? After beating the Cowboys to gain a playoff berth, did McNabb not take cheap shots at the fans? How about last year when the Eagles website had a poll for the best Eagles QB of all time, and the fans chose McNabb with more total votes than any of the other players combined? I'm a huge McNabb guy because he is the best QB this team has ever had, but the fans have nothing to do with it. The fans didn't draft Kevin Kolb to replace him and the fans didn't bench him in Baltimore. I'm growing tired of this national perspective of idiots who don't do their research. Those idiots have no credibility.

Fans like Marvin don't deserve a winning team. I'm so afraid Marvin's Matt Ryan ROTY/ Ravens beating the Dolphins earlier this season shit will jinx the Ravens. I was hoping the Jets would win, I'd would have rather taken on a shitty Brett Favre than a supremely efficient could-make-a-strong-case-for-mvp Chad Pennington. Flacco needs to play mistake free, and the defense cannot let up. This is not gonna be a blow out. Maybe 24-17 Ravens. Oh and if this wacky post-season continues, you are totally looking at a Chargers-Eagles Super Bowl
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Hearing Cowher talk about the Ravens defense is very wierd...and yet he picked the Dolphins? Huh? and Marino picked the Ravens...what the hell?
Psycho Penguin Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 You think because Marino played for the Dolphins he will pick the Dolphins in every game for the rest of his life or something? I have a feeling you are going to be insufferable these next few hours. Do the rest of us Ravens fans a favor and be quiet until we win.
garfieldsnose Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 If the Ravens lose, we're still gonna be subject to Marvin's hijinx when he blames the refs or something.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Ravens are 9-1 when they lose the coin toss so..good sign so far!
Guest Vitamin X Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 God help me Marvin, if you get annoying for this game, you can take your in and post game rambling elsewhere.

Fans like Marvin don't deserve a winning team. This is one of the few times I will ever agree with a fan who supports teams from Philly. That's how ridiculous Marvin is. On a game related note, the Ravens look flaccid so far on offense and defense.
CanadianChris Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 God help me Marvin, if you get annoying for this game, you can take your in and post game rambling elsewhere. You really need to say "if"?

On a game related note, the Ravens look flaccid so far on offense and defense. The defense held up in the Red Zone, held em to a FG, though that was some questionable play calling on 2 and goal from the 1 to pass the ball. The way the Ravens were moving the ball on the opening drive, no problem with the fumble only going for 3 points.
CanadianChris Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 How on earth was that questionable? If there's any defence against which you might not want to call a run for a yard, it's the Ravens'. The only reason anyone could call it questionable because it didn't work. Nice red zone D by the Dolphins.
tonyjaymzretro Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Dolphins are playing with more...urgency? on defense so far
Guest Vitamin X Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Pennington had a hell of an opening drive there. I wonder how much of the Wildcat the Dolphins are going to be using in the playoffs.
tonyjaymzretro Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Pennington had a hell of an opening drive there. I wonder how much of the Wildcat the Dolphins are going to be using in the playoffs. its a moot point now, but Pennington should've made the pro bowl, cannot believe he got excluded
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Pennington had a hell of an opening drive there. I wonder how much of the Wildcat the Dolphins are going to be using in the playoffs. I doubt they use it vs the Ravens considering week 7 they ran it like like 4 or 5 times for a grand total of 5 yards. Oh look..and for a loss too. I heard Ryan was a candidate for a couple of the head coach positions like he was last year..really dont want to see him go.
Art Sandusky Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 I remember when the Ravens knocked the Dolphins out of the playoffs in Week 7. Ohshi...
Psycho Penguin Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Ravens really need to get the running game going. Too many deep passes so far. Not good to do when you're starting a rookie QB against an above average pass defense. Pennington had a hell of an opening drive there. I wonder how much of the Wildcat the Dolphins are going to be using in the playoffs. its a moot point now, but Pennington should've made the pro bowl, cannot believe he got excluded I think he should have won MVP to be honest.

Adrian Peterson 3. Peyton Manning and man, that was a bad, bad, bad throw by Flacco...thank god the defender couldn't hold on
naiwf Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Horrible choice there by Pennington. This game is putting me to sleep.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Pennington gets knocked into next tuesday and throws the pick to Leonhard!
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 waste of a series there Field position chess game..now the Dolphins are pinned back at their 5.
