The Truthiness Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Don't worry Jeff everybody gets out of the Ankle Lock 4 times a match.
cd213 Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Did Tenay just call the Pedigree a DDT? I was thinking the same thing, but I guess he's not allowed to and had to throw something out there.
Scroby Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Did Tenay just call the Pedigree a DDT? I was thinking the same thing, but I guess he's not allowed to and had to throw something out there. He could have called it the flapjack.....Fruitbooty.
cd213 Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 The only excuse I can think of, is that it came out of nowhere and Teney didn't want to throw out the name that it is known by, and just threw anything out there instead.
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 JEFF JARRETT IS SUPERMAN~!
MillenniumMan831 Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 I love how West tries to rationalize every nearfall in TNA. "It's just one of those situations where . . ."
Scroby Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Great match! It's also bout time someone lost that way.
Downhome Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 That was a fucking good match if you ask me.
cd213 Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Great match! It's also bout time someone lost that way. That is how a match is supposed to be built.
Matt Young Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 GOD DAMN TNA AND THEIR SHITTY FINISHES TO GOOD MATCHES! This time, the right guy won, but the finish was L-A-M-E. Did Tenay just call the Pedigree a DDT? I was thinking the same thing, but I guess he's not allowed to and had to throw something out there. He could have called it the flapjack.....Fruitbooty. LMAO! Flapjack = food. Slapjack = pedigree.
Broward83 Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 You're a 10+ year vet and you do the lazy ass "relax with your back on 'em" pin? Idiot. Your wrestling acumen is apparently as poor as your business acumen.
The Truthiness Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Great match! It's also bout time someone lost that way. Triple H beat Jeff Hardy like that at No Mercy.
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 From PWI: For those wondering, what TNA said on tonight's PPV regarding Kevin Nash is a shoot. Nash was hospitalized earlier today in Charlotte, NC with a severe staph infection in his elbow and there is a strong fear he may have blood poisoning. I am told it's a really serious infection and there is a lot of concern backstage for Nash's well being. Well we know the Frontline was supposed to win tonight Bobby Bitch! GENIUS!
Scroby Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Did Tenay just call the Pedigree a DDT? I was thinking the same thing, but I guess he's not allowed to and had to throw something out there. He could have called it the flapjack.....Fruitbooty. LMAO! Flapjack = food. Slapjack = pedigree. Oh that's right it was called the Slapjack. I kept thinking it was the Flapjack.
Downhome Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 The time after the Angle Slam through the table, with both of them slowly making their way back to the ring, making it to their feet to fight it out back and forth, was one of my favorite moments in a match in a good long while.
cd213 Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 You're a 10+ year vet and you do the lazy ass "relax with your back on 'em" pin? Idiot. Your wrestling acumen is apparently as poor as your business acumen. After such a hard fought match, and going through a table and everything he went through, he couldn't put tons of pressure on him. I agree that it could have been a better ending, but that's some rationale on how it wasn't the worst ending ever.
The Truthiness Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Kurt crossed the line? Isn't that what TNA is all about?
Broward83 Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Fine, don't add pressure...just fuckin roll your ass over and pin him
Matt Young Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Tenay's all disgusted and then orders the replay. LOL.
death_by_burrito Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 The ending was kinda lame, but it doesn't take away home great the match was. Really good stuff.
MillenniumMan831 Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 The look on West's face during that tirade was priceless.
NyqZoo Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Seriously, when was the last time someone was hit with a finisher on a TNA PPV and pinned?
Scroby Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Seriously, when was the last time someone was hit with a finisher on a TNA PPV and pinned? The first match of the night. Hernandez did it.
Matt Young Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 The look on West's face during that tirade was priceless. Indeed. And...
Scroby Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 So, who's Nash's replacement? Al Snow maybe? That could make some sense.
Downhome Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Wow, that Sting/Rhino match sure was pointless. The Angle/JJ match should have been the main event.
