I haven't seen any bad reviews, but a bunch have been pretty average. Ebert gave it **1/2 for what it's worth. I saw it yesterday and liked it a lot. It had a kind of slow beginning, but once the kidnapping happens, it's pretty much nonstop fun. The movie was a little shorter than I was expecting, but I'd still recommend it.

Taken is one of those movies that is what it's advertised to be. I love movies like Taken, so I really enjoyed it.

 

It's currently my #1 for 09. Reviews have been mixed

That's funny because I assumed she was playing a college student traveling during the summer. I could buy 20 or 21.

Taken was an awesome Bourne like action movie without the heavy conspiracy storyline. The Wrestler and Taken are probably my top movies I've seen in the last six months.
