Tyler Perry has to be a billionaire by now. Dude probably makes a 500% profit every single fucking movie.

Watchmen continues to climb toward $100 million, which would be very impressive if the movie was not only set in 1985, but released in 1985.

That's pretty sad that Watchmen may not even make it's production budget back from the domestic box office totals by the time it's all said and done, which I think was 120 million.

I saw it in the IMAX last week and was blown away by it, personally. Awesome flick, particularly for the IMAX.

Hearing the movie clocked in at about 3 hours with car and coke commercials and movie trailers was my cue to wait for it to air on TV in 2010. I was also told by my friends who enjoyed the movie I would likely be bored with no familiarity with the source material, as even they were bored a few times (but overall really enjoyed the movie).

How the hell does Nicolas Cage find time to release two movies a year that no one has ever heard of and that feature no other known actors in them? And how do these movies make money?

People flat out love Nicholas Cage.

I was pretty sure Watchmen was going to struggle to make 70-80 mil total. I mean, it's not exactly the most accessible material.

I've been desperately hoping he reprises his role of Fu Manchu from the Grindhouse trailers into a full movie.

Nick Cage yelling "THIS IS MY MECCA" equals my 9 bucks spent.
