YOU Can't Be Serious! WCW IS BACK...   Let me get to the Raw and Smackdown Matches First- then we will tell you HOW Intresting This Week Was, plus from REALLY FUNNY ****!   Raw Matches   Edge and Snitsky (w/Lita) vs. Kane and ?   Raw Commissioner Bishoff then changes the match to a 1 on 1 match   Snitsky vs. The Big Show   DUD...   RVD is the next Draft Pick? NOOO! (But this leads into the what happend in Smackdown and it sort of makes sense...)   Ric Flair vs. Kurt Angle   3 and 3/4 stars. The old man still got it. Once his Grandson finsh college and desides to come to the WWE, WATCH OUT. Hes gonna be Fire and Money in the Bank accout to Vince. But the Old man can still do it. Its remarkable! Hey, if you have 55 year old men still doing German Supexles (In Japan) well- that says alot...   John Cena, Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan vs. Christian, Y2J and Tyson Tomko   2 stars tops. They have fun in this tag match.   But the Diva Search HURTS the show badly...   WCW Smackdown Thunder Matches   Paul London© vs. Chavito Guerrero   (Mexicools Interfere again...)   Can we have a match...please?   (Typical Fanservice Anime Look at That ASS segment, before Melina gets pissed off...)   Melina vs. Michelle McCool   Tell you what, I will give this 3/4 stars, call it an ok WCW Smackdown Thundergirls Match, They already say McCool has a nice looking dererre... At least Melina has some moves...unlike...CARLTO!   ...eh...is it me... or... yeah...Maury Povich on the next WCW Smackdown...   Here is the Main Event:   Six Man Elimination Match for the new SmackDown Championship: JBL vs. Muhammad Hassan vs. Booker T vs. Chris Benoit vs. Christian vs. The Undertaker   Undertaker gets DQ with a Chair Shot to Hassan at 13:27 Hassan is also DQ seconds later.   JBL Cheats a DDT to pin over Benoit at 24:37   Christan (the new Draftpick from Raw) Pins Booker T at 43:08...   ...but that leads into a Cheating Lariat By JBL to win at 43:49.   Hold ON, Teddy Long says, NO need for Smackdown Champ! We got ourselfs a champ! Ladies and Gentlefolks! Batista!   JBL GETS OWNED! HAHAHAH! Cheaters Never Win...much.   So this sets the WCW Smackdown "Great American Bash" Title Event on July 26. 3 and 3/4 stars for the near 45 min match.   WCW Smackdown WINS again this week.   Anyway- It makes sense to have Smackdown to be called WCW Smackdown... (World Title, US Title, Smackdown Tag Team Titles- Unified Cruser Title...) Many of the stars where at one time in WCW... The major Womans title (the IWA Mid South) is owned by a dude... Zenjo (All Japan Joshi) before it disbanded) was owned by a Guy (and he lead it to the ground) Taka Michinoku is planning a Michoinoku Joshi Division in 2006... YET you would think that Linda, Dixie and Maokto (granted, the latter promotion does not have the strenth it once had but still) would have a whole damn division, trainers, story boarders and story lines for the Womans Titles. Hell, it was Fabulous Mooluah and her onterage that went to Japan and changed the seedy game in the late 50s into a NEAR savior of the whole Puroesu landscape back in the 80's (Crush Girls Story Line) EVEN VKM Sr had a good Womans Promotion Rivialing AJW and LLPW (which is connected in some ways to New Japan and its owned by a dude) back in the 80's And Jumping Bomb Angels where the best damn tag team next to the Road Warriors! (IMO) (and The Road Warriors were the best in there class, only the Stiners could hold there own against them- and they were the best as well...) After the Match between Trish and Lita, I was hoping the WWE would at least TRY to do something with this...   But no...more diva searches. UGH. Sometimes, the men cant do it all. Your already seeing that.   Now to the Fire Pro NEWS!     Looks like Misawa gets a newer Emerial Fluision... (Brainbuster Set Up, or in WWE lingo, Suplex Set Up)   Newer Mega Burning Hammer! Kobashi will rip heads to shreds.   And there is a FIRE PRO For Your 1 Inch Cell Fone!   Update:   Results from the "SUPERSHOW" at Saitama Super Arena on July 1st:   Tony Chimel and Christy Hemme appeared. Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson appeared later in the show to shoot t-shirts out of an air-gun.   1. Edge (w/ Lita) defeated Kane in 8 minutes, 13 seconds after Lita distracted Kane and Edge used the briefcase to whack Kane for the win.   2. WWE Cruiserweight Title Match: Paul London defeated Chavo Guerrero Jr. in 11 minutes, 55 seconds. They did a deal with Funaki running in and London getting attacked after the match.   3. Chris Jericho defeated Shelton Benjamin in 16 minutes with the Walls of Jericho (modified Boston Crab). Finish was Jericho catching Benjamin with a super kick and then using his finisher for the win. Both guys shook hands and hugged after the match.   4. The Big Show (w/ Akebono) defeated Carlito Caribbean Cool in 7 minutes, 3 seconds with a chokeslam.   5. Shawn Michaels & Chris Benoit defeated Muhammad Hassan & (Shawn) Daivari in 14 minutes, 11 seconds when used the Crippler Cross Face hold on Daivari for the submission win.   6. TAJIRI defeated Orlando Jordan in 8 minutes, 29 seconds.   7. Rey Misterio Jr. defeated Eddy Guerrero in 27 minutes, 15 seconds with the 619/Springboard Leg Drop finishing sequence for the win. After the match, Eddy tried to provoke Ricky Steamboat.   8. The Undertaker defeated Kurt Angle in 24 minutes, 11 seconds with a Tombstone Pile Driver.   9. You Got CUT!   Here is who is out of the WWE:   -- Marc Loyd -- Mark Jindrak -- Maven -- Shannon Moore -- Akio -- Gangrel -- Billy Kidman -- Spike Dudley -- Mordecai   Maven? Maven? The guy who took more bumps than HHH in the last 3 years?   SPIKE? NOT SPIKE...   This is intresting Billy Kidman is gone...   And Mark Jindrak is done too.   Mordecai would not have done much and was a bit too small.   Akio is great and would be a great find for ROH.   Since one is a draft pick, what will RAW get from Smackdown? Dude...(Part Three)

Can we have some sanity in the house?   Last part of this (should have been slow) Wrestling Week.   Utterly Amazing. This is the week Jerry Jarrett could not have planned. He did nothing, and had TNA look like prestine compared to Vince's bubble boy syndrome issues.   The WWE.com site has become more of the Smark Based InsiderSite not unlike Dave Meltzers or 1Bob.   The Issue with Hassan is this- The PTC, will not say anything. Not a thing. You watch. If they made nearly 99 percent of the complaints towards Viacom and all it ilk...this time, when they are mostly consertive and supporting The War Against Terror...they will let this go.   Some Indy Results first:       Now some intresting Puro News:   One the greatest wreslers of all time, Momoe Nakanishi married UWF International Booker Makoto Oe- it was a emotional ceremony. Kazushi Sakuraba, Yuji Nagata, Yoshihiro Takayama, Yumiko Hotta, and Nanae Takahashi were the special guests. Nakanishi is pregnant and will have her bundle of joy in Jan 2006. CONGRATS!   Hustle- the promotion so silly it makes sense... gets even more crazy:   The promotion ran an angle with Erica (Aja Kong) (I am sure its based on a Aaliah song, "Erica Jane" announcing a new tag team partner acquisition. Aja says that she "intercepted" Yinling the Erotic Terrorist's newest recruit. The girl in question is a San Diego woman (175 cm tall) who is being named Margaret.   In a separate angle, Tadao Yasuda talked about his upcoming match with Naoya Ogawa on 7/13 at Fukuoka International Center in the $1 million dollar main event match. Yasuda said that he would plan a business takeover for Antonio Inoki's "fighting spirit (toukon) battery development business." This is the business project that ex-NJ President Masakazu Kusama recently talked about Inoki losing a lot of money in. Essentially, the development of a battery that never needs to be recharged. Yasuda, the "Borrowing Money King," said that he looked at his match against "Tax Paying King" Ogawa as an easy way to make "fast money." Yasuda said that after he wins his match against Ogawa, he dreams of buying a horse and that he will use "money violence" to obtain his goals.   It gets much worse...or better if you still think the WWE cant do anymore wrong as they did Yesterday   The promotion is introducing a new character called Razor Ramon HG. The HG stands for "Hard Gay" and he does the "Hard Gay Hustle Pose." Kantaku Nakamura (it's really Nakamura the ZERO-ONE boss) said that the Hustle army lacked hardness. Even more pictures here. The claim so far is that at least 10 people have been contacted to work with the new project with Satomura as the promotion's ace & booker.   Intriguingly, this news story was not covered by most of the traditional pro-wrestling media in Japan but rather was covered on the mainstream news wires by Kyodo.   Not reported on the news wires is that the promotion is aiming to recruit female High School students/athletes for try-outs with a dead-line of August 20th. The try-outs would then take place in September. Rika Kayama, a famous Japanese psychiatrist, will act as a company advisor. The advance is good, but not spectacular given the amount of build-up for the show so far. If there are seats available by next week, then some minor worrying.   There was a "special fan event" at Tower Records (Shinjuku) with John Cena promoting his "You can't see me" CD. Around 400 fans attended and Cena got a huge reception. One woman marked out so much for touching Cena that she started crying. The event with Cena took place on Saturday at Noon.   Meanwhile, there was a PPFM x WWE corporate event with Rey Misterio Jr. and Torrie Wilson that drew around 200 fans. The fans were mostly preoccupied with Torrie. PPFM is a fashion/merchandising company. Kane & Christy Hemme had a separate fan club event meet & greet session as well.   President Simon Inoki announced (according to a Yomiuri Sports report) that a "steel curtain" would be established on all employees of the company in terms of leaking information. This applies to both wrestlers and management. The issue of "leaking" was a big deal for Antonio Inoki, who hated ex-President Masakazu Kusama's "open style" with the press. Simon stated that information such as fight cards were being leaked and that a "special project room" would be created to establish more internal control. Simon further stated that fans got bored with the lack of freshness in the company because the surprises in matchmaking were lost. Wii! (Yeah right)

More...zany from Ninty.   The new name for the Rev. Crazy no?   I remember, Fanticom, and Superfanticom (Thats NES and SNES, not SVES) N64 and Gamecube.   BUT THE Wii?   Well, this has compleatly lost me. They could have called it the Leagacy and people would have run to get it.   This...well...needs more work and there isnt a lot of time to the GREATEST E3 of all time.

How Pokemon almost became a part of Wizard.

How ironic is this-   In a recent article dealing with the upcoming IFL, created by Wizard Owner, Gareb Shamus, He stated something about the franchise:     So, he backed out- 4Kids basicly came in...the rest is history.   Until resently, when Ninty pretty much told 4Kids to **** off after 8 years. This Month, there will be new USA only episode of pokemon, with new Voice Actors for the franchise (as a test run) the last known episode with the 4Kids VA's (They will continue from may)- will be late summer, early fall.

Dude...(Part 2)

WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SMOKING?   Welcome Part 2 of a 3 part Wresling Week Wrap Up.   More on the near shocking but not suprising segment on WCW Smackdown Thunder.   But first, a Special Edition of the Raw Match Review! (By Phil Schneider over At DVDVR)     Here is the WCW Smackdown Results:   Chris Benoit vs. Booker T (3 Stars point blank- good start and intresting finish. However it could have been a longer match.   JBL vs. The Blue Meanie (w/the bWo) (No-DQ) (JBL cuts the best promo of his career, only to get a taste of his own medicene.)   MNM (w/Melina) © vs. Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio (The storyline gets intresting here with Eddy, Ray)   Matt Morgan vs. William Regal (No Match, Mexicools Take care of Matt Morgan- this has to be the last time before they start having matches.)   Christian vs. Batista (non-title) (2* Match between these two)   I would have given the win for the Third Week in the row to Smackdown.   However, it was this segement that was uncalled for...   Daivari vs. The Undertaker   Man...I am one of these dudes that lisen to the savage nation, and all the rest. And even I was dumbfounded. But this is not suprising in the WWE. They are one of the last non PC show on the planet. They pretty much want to push Hassan to the moon- but the way they did it- damn. (but then again, Savage would love Vince as President of the US because even he thinks Bush isnt strong enough on the war on terror)   And I keep harping on why there needs to be a strong womens division... If this is the best the men can do get over with, then the industry is in huge trouble. Heyman played the game, but back then- he wasnt being stupid with it. Today, Vince is using the same 90's trick and hope magic strikes twice. Its ugly. Words...Fail...

But let me do the best I can.   I didnt get much sleep last night.   Much sleep at all.   I have a 16 hour work day yesterday (as of this post) and I was just wating to relive my young and budding years.   All with the new heros, The new vision.   And maybe Sci-Fi would had some respect. (Duh, I watch it for Doctor Who and nothing else)   But NBC has to be...such liberals.   Guess what, Annie Coulter is right about you dumb pricks.   For this baby to fail, it needed that Hollywood bull crap Steffie plays.   It was full of it.   No, i didnt expect this promotion to be the one I remember telling Jayen about in 1999.   I expect this promotion as something fresh and new!   But like Time Warner, and Kids WB/Cartoon Network/Adult Swim- the fresh and new, is something old and rancur.   I wanted the OLD school I dont care about modern socity promotion! And there is a LOT of story arcs to play off this.   I wanted the new stars!   Here we are, 2006 nearly 5 years after a downturn- and you telling me that there no major superstars after HHH and HBK on the WWE main shows?   Well, in the end- the pessimests won the first battle of the 13 episode war.   Maybe Meltzer was right, they have moved on and may never come back. After this show, who can blame them.   This is going to be really hard for even Heyman to pull up from. I see mircales from him before. But this will trully prove how good can he be.   Because if this fails, TNA will get that two hour show, and will beat The Brand or take MUCH and MUCH audance from them in 6 months.   This will be pretty much be the end of The Brand. Because if they cant even expand in the pro game, what else are they going to do!? Even the hardcore marks know something is wrong. If they cant even succeed in PRO WRESTLING, THERE DEAD, and the business will change forever.   And some how Vince knows this. And thats why he will stick to his guns. And he would want to fix this.   But if he cant, and there are signs pointing to this- you are going to see such a shift in this buisness, that your not going to see more TNA's poping up to compete in the business, its going to be the RULE your going to see start ups.   Saturday Morning (when the ratings come in) is going to be a really intresting look.   12 episodes left.   Can they reverse the worst pro show in history?   Or is this the end of the WWE...

I post most of my politcal issues- on a anime and manga social board (since there is NO cartoon and animation social board otherwise, it would not be warrented to even go to the other one) And when I kept telling telling them in the Terri Schivo matter- the court is out of control.   Since the last two decisions on the court, I havent heard a THING about the decisions on the court...yet   Its sad aint it. Its gone down to if Disega is going to have an animated series (which there is another board for it) to this that and very illegal things.   And these people have a fit- over One Pieces editing.   We live in ugly times. Very Ugly Times. Drudge (who I met some years back) is a huge downloading freak. Now they could sue him because someone shared music to him.   If somebody wants to own a house, a good looking house, and then all of a sudden, the city wants to put office buildings on the grounds, they can do it (unless they vote it out, which might be the only way to keep the 5th amendment intact)   And no ten commandments in the courthouse, which makes no sense. The Ten Commandments in the basic sence are ten rules of life! They are the basis of ALL Judeo-Christian Civliasation-esce laws. Of course, the Ten Commandments are allowed at other places- but the courthouse...no. Thats wrong.   I will update this if somebody over at that gfaqs board says anything...

The end of a wresling era...

A end of era did come.   In the year that UFC is getting 600,000 buys...   In year that ECW came back...with limited success...   There is one constently honest truth.   The Modern Womens Wrestling Era is over.   Not that it ended in a wimper, by the way.   The simple fact is that Trish Stratus, given all the challanges, the hate, and some times the overly stalking love from fans and detractors- is a talent.   The fact that some great matches are done with very little moves only shows why one division has been conistant even despite how the men mess it up, and the booking and so on.   A 30 year history, starting in 1976- with its peak starting in the 90's and the ladies of FMW, and one Magumi Kudo, the queen of all of Joshi at that time (despite the amazing work of Toyota, Kong and Kandori)...Trish belongs to those Goddess.   If there is one thing the WWE did right in these dark times, is that they have 80% of the time- they have left the Woman's Division alone. Granted, in 2004- the Division could have reached greater hights. However, that didnt happen.   But the matches from 2005 between Lita-Trish-Mickie at times Victoria were very well done. They hate it because its not Joshi- but you have to give some credit, before Fit Finley went to Smackdown, he trained the Divas. And you see aspets of this wonderful pro star in that division. Luckly, were just seeing Finley in action- and how truly good he is. But the Division never let up.   In fact, it had the best storyline of 2005-2006 with Trish/Mickie. And one of the better matches too.   In the end however, Lita and Trish was Kandori and Chigusa. Basicly, the best the women have to offer.   It a sad time in the business right now. But last night was a small memorial bright spot in the cloud of darkness and abstractness in the business.   Miss Stratus, Thanks. Thats all one fan has to say. Your the last of a kind, and we all wish you well.

Three Men, Three Stories.

In a moment, a whole industry can been changed.   In a moment, lives will never been the same.   So was the moment at ONS2- the world champion, a TRUE world Champion was crowned.   But what makes a true champ, is the how he does under pressure. And so far, it has been with flying colors, despite what others tell you.   However, this is not about that man.   Its about the Main Writer and the President of the Company that owns them.   They pretty much wanted to say Sorry but didnt want to imbarrass the shareholders.   Thats the first true test of a man, its to own up to his mistakes.   However, this message isnt to put them down. Its to help them.   There is some storylines that will be both progressive, promote stars, hardcore, keeps Sci-Fi happy, get ready for the old guard to step down, and so on.   The Zombie story arc might work, however- he needs to be cleaned up more. Instead of a horror Zombie- its a Psyological one- he feeds on the emotions of the croud, and uses to his effect.   The Goth Story Arc- A tag team mostly.   The Cosplay arc, send out the geeks, until you get to the pretty girl. You figure out the rest   (Densha Otoko) Arc- The basic new Dreamer Vs Raven storyarc. Read the Wikipedia article on 2ch. Eugene, or Trever Murdock are perfect for the roles, with CM Punk or another being the heel.   Thats just off the top of my head.   However, the crowing from Jeff Jarret is well founded. Come on, who ever would believe that we care about Steiner and Nash again? And the fact the book has been very good at times, and there house shows have been amazing at times, He has reasons to talk smack. Hes got some of the best talent, old men ready shine one last time- and young lions HUNGRY for titles. The only thing hurting this, is the title situation. Christian is a talent, but years being in the midcard has hurt him. Joe- is too damn good for the X title- and I hope that if and when American Dragon heads to TNA, that Joe drops it to Dragon or maybe Homiside. The tag teams are about to get better with LAX ready to go. 6 good tag teams are better than none! All they need is just a little help from the Ladies side- more international flavor (Please get Nagata, Nakatashi, and Tanoshi here! Oh and when you and CMLL reconsile- I would like to have some of their big stars as well), and we have something that Heyman only WISH he can touch.   ---   But if there is one thing that made me happy this week, is that AJPW is starting a major rennasonce after many slow years. The Best World Champ, is Satoshi Kojima. He has held the title in his first defence, 9 times. After winning over Kawada back in 2005, he has faced some good...some bad, but truly showing hes a champ. Even though Akiama has been ok, Kojima is truly on another class of his own. Besting Brock Lesnar at his own game is not an easy feat. Sure, they dont have a major TV deal- and they havent been in the big venues for quite a while. But the upcoming match between him and Kea- will revenigurate AJPW back into form. Kea has been no slouch, but that will tell you how much Mutoh respects the company he took over- he let the young guy do his thing and he did it well. I wish this upcoming match makes people forget the Pride troubles, and see what they have been missing for the last several years.   Next week, can ECW Recover from the worst show in a genration? Will TNA get over 70,000 buys!? Is this the Summer of DX? King Booker might lose, but is he ready for a title shot against Rey? How come Rey keeps losing!? Is Batista gonna finsh off Henry? Will Kennady move Smackdown to new hights?   Thats all next week.

-ECW...Returns?   After a near sellout for ONSII, Vince pulled the gun and ECW is reborn. The question is how in the world are they gonna pull this off? The question abounds why he did this, but right now its wait and see...   -Pokemon Leaving Kids WB? Recent news from Mediaweek states that Pokemon is not in the fall lineup...Yugi-Oh is also done (well it was nearing its end) In its place? Tom and Jerry. The returning Loontics, and a new version of Scooby Doo- this time with Hightech Gagets. More like 1976 and 1996 instead of 1966 and 1986 am i rite? Gamefaqs already call racism on Kids WB ON the Dubba-CDubba because anime isnt on the line up, but lets make one thing clear, Its isnt over yet and the anime correction has just started if Pokemon is TRULY gone from the line up.   -LocoRoco Happy Game for a system that needs a boost. PSP will get that boost and just at the nick of time. The demo is happy and everybody will pay 200 bucks for this baby. Sadly, the DS is starting to prove to be a gimmick (Wait, IGA- NO TOUCH Screen?) and now its only a matter of time before the cookie crumbles. (You dont make a game and not use the other screen for something...)   -Speaking of CV The 1999 game is set for Next Gen Systems. The new game is based on the MegaDrive/Genesis game, Bloodlines- now get this, they reconned CV 64. BUT the new game has one charitor that is the grandmother of the girl from CV 64. How can you reconn the granddauther...its a fucking mess. IGA- one thing please. WHERE IS MY CV PSP GAME damnit? Get a shave too man, and please dont tell me you like anime when you are bonking the artist that can acually draw a lick. Damnit its now wonder why Kojima is leery when he gives you a budget for a 3D game, since you still live in a 2D relem and need to get out of the shell. Get this, Sony aint stoping 2D RPG's from the PS2, even Disega got some play and they were reletively pleased. Your just envy Kojima. Well, if you do make a CV as good as MGS3 then you will have your own production company and so on...but your not doing it unless you make the transition. (GTA style perhaps?)   -Why Bleedman is running and gunning and still has nothing? The INTERWEB conterversy with Mandy being death and starting the Iraq war and being apart of 9-11 has made Bleedman a bit hated. Sadly, its not for the wrong reasons. Hes a good desiner- hes no artist. He's a window-SHOPPER, mad as **** they he cant see the real world pass by. The sad thing is he will get a job at warners because they suck horrible. Its time for him to really be an artist and truly be the worker of truth, and not some slave to his friend that cant write a lick. Or maybe he cant and everybody likes him because hes just like the rest of us, primitive- one season people that wishes for the end but it never comes.

Nobody wins with either- ones too western, the other is too eastern.   -who the hell wins e3? Is it become a contest or something?   -The double play out from the mouth of a horse(Peter Moore)...sicking.   -The only error in judgment made was by (Ironicly) Kojima Productions in placing Snake in SMBT:B...where theres Django and Sabata from Botkai...the game created for Kojima's son!   -Girls crusfiy you.   -You go to a artistic website and right now its just trash...   -Gamefaqs does nothing for me...   -Goverment given the go ahead by business Tapping phone numbers... Should We be conserned about Africa? Or US?

I am in a bit of a quandary. Live 8, Bob Geldorf's lofty dream and wish to end poverty in Africa, was one of the biggest and maybe most eventful concert in mankind’s short civilized life. Kanye West proved he, along with Outcast, is worthy of the Hip Hop Crown. Pink Floyd proved why it will take so long and so far for Rock to reach the high’s it had once.   But what was the point? I know about Bob Geldorf’s sexual proclivities- and all that bullshit. However, helping the country where my father was born, is going to take much more than just singers, dancers, and actors that cant even get a buyrate in the movie theaters anymore.   America, Europe, Russia, and Japan- need to save themselves first. I do not want problems that these countries have to be transplanted into a continent, that has leaders that don’t know there left from there right, who Robert Mugabe continues to destroy the lives white farmers in Zimbabwe.   Japan cannot admit about its dark history to China, its problems with childbirth.   Russia with the Cronyism and the lost identity crisis they are having.   Europe, with sexual pervasion to its highest levels (in England)- and its lost Christian Ideals, morals, and responsibility   In addition, America- with its boarders not protected, Same Sex Marriage- Property Rights, War in Iraq, War on Terror, Cultural Wars, Internet Rights, Real ID, Lost Jobs and lots more.   So, why are the stars not looking at the real problem? Themselves? No, too busy- we got have to save Africa again!   Yes, we have a country that has the greatest freedoms. However, we have some of the largest problems. Its time we save OUR Country first, before Africa. Solve most of OUR problems first, and the rest will take care of itself.   Its something Bob Geldorf missed when he planned this.   Save Our Nation before all else.   Ronixis

HBK Turns Heel...

...On a Substandard Raw   Ok, short notes...   CHAVO is WHITE? NOOOOOOOO!   Diva Search should be called Joshi Whores. UGH, Shame on ya...   Good Promo by Cena and Jericho...   Hogan Goes Over again...   Substanard Raw...   (And just a quick shout out to the admin here at smarkmarks for posting on last weeks Post, how nice of him )   here is some results from July 2 at Japan:       1. Akebono & The Big Show defeated Carlito Caribbean Cool & Matt Morgan in 8 minutes, 40 seconds when Akebono used the Banzai Drop on Morgan for the win.   2. WWE Cruiserweight Title Match (3-Way Dance): Paul London defeated Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Funaki. Funaki over Chavo in 7'18 with a Shining Enzui and London over Funaki in 11'16 with the Oklahoma Roll.   3. Chris Benoit defeated Shelton Benjamin in 12 minutes, 38 seconds with the Crippler Cross Face hold.   4. TAJIRI defeated Muhammad Hassan (w/ Daivari) in 4 minutes, 46 seconds with an inside cradle.   Torrie Hunter, Stacy Keibler, and Christy Hemme came out to shoot t-shirts to the crowd with the air gun.   5. Rey Misterio Jr., The Undertaker, & Kane defeated Eddy Guerrero, Kurt Angle, & Edge (w/ Lita) in 23 minutes, 34 seconds with a triple pinfall (Undertaker over Angle with the Tombstone, Kane over Edge with the Tombstone, Rey over Eddy with the West Coast Pop).   6. WWE Heavyweight Title Match: John Cena defeated JBL & Orlando Jordan in 13 minutes, 26 seconds when Cena hit the FU on JBL for the quick win. The finish saw a referee bump and JBL cover Cena for Jordan to do a 3-count. JBL wanted Steamboat to ring the bell to give him the win. JBL and Jordan went to attack Cena together but Jordan accidentally laid out JBL with a case in a "friendly fire" mishap. Ricky Steamboat acted as timekeeper for the match and JBL sneered at him for not ringing the bell for his near falls that would have given him the win. They had a post-match confrontation. Cena, meanwhile, got on the microphone and said "Please congratulate me" in Japanese and pulled out some coffee milk, which prompted a "coffee milk" call from the fans. Cena drank some and the fans marked out.   7. Shawn Michaels defeated Chris Jericho in 33 minutes, 30 seconds with the superkick (Sweet Chin Music). Both men shook hands and hugged after the match.   8. World Title Match: Batista defeated Triple H (w/ Ric Flair) in 17 minutes, 31 seconds with the spinebuster.     Lots of intresting news coming on Friday!

(by last count, it was 327- but it could be more than that) The new hardcore match is the mine field match, made famous by FMW. He also stated that there will be another version of Fire Pro in the future, and that will have accdental selling...   This weeks update has new pictures and new videos, plus more info from Masked De Spike. I will have more details and the week before the new game comes out, all the videos will the linked here for all to see (I know there are more moves...)   Thats all for this week...

A...smackdown...champion?

YEAH...RIGHT...   Ok, what happend on smackdown?   Simple... they didnt keep up with the perfectly Acceptable Wrestling (well they did, but the booking brought out the SAT (aka, the Mexicools) to the cruizer stage-which, mark my words if nothing changes after the ECW PPV or Vengence PPV-the former good, the other bad news, the cruser division will be something to watch for. Of course, is the longest running title on The Brand.)   And guess who came?   Hassan. (Oh great)   He begins his streak on smackdown...over the Big Show. And he is apart of the new six man tornado match, for the world title. A NEW world title. The Smackdown world title.   Ok, is it me, or I am sensing a Unified Title over at Raw? That would end the true brand split- and Smackdown will have to start (not like Raw did, because in the kafabe world- the Raw World Title is the WCW title) from scratch.   But what scared me most of about tonight? The Main Event Match between Eddie and Rey. This match should have been a LOT better. Eddy looked SLOW in certain parts. Rey (I never believed it if I could) carried the match. Even though Rey has a bad wheel. What's with Eddie? Even on his bad days, he was never slow.   So... Smackdown was better this week...but not by much...   Raw Matches Shelton Benjamin © vs. Carlito (Bullcrap win) Viscera vs. Simon Dean (Squash) John Cena © vs. Mohammed Hassan (Didnt even give him time! BIG DUD) Kurt Angle vs. Batista which lead to: HHH and Kurt Angle (w/Ric WHOO Flair) vs. Shawn Michaels and Batista OH HELL NO...Very Badly Booked.   Smackdown Matches   Joey Mercury (w/Nitro and Melina) vs. Heidenreich (Not bad from Heidenreich, which if you think about it-is shocking, but no more than *) (Addendum- Melina came in to OVW as to train, but she became a very comptent manager, this deals with the match next week with Michelle McCool-where as Both Nitro and Mercury dont believe she can throw down...)   One fall for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship of the World: Chavito Guerrero vs. Paul London (No Winners, as the Mexicools arrive, The Juice (Juventud Guerrera)- Super Crazy, and Psicosis interfere)   One issue about the draft that J-Hawk stated on his review:   How can Daivari and Hassan both come over at the same time? Cole and Tazz briefly speculated that they must be a package deal, but after making a big deal that Sharmell of all people could be drafted solo and that tag teams could be broken up, how can you justify anybody being a package deal? If Daivari was just a manager, I might be able to buy it, but since he wrestles part-time, I don't know how you can justify it.   Unless Smackdown has already used the final weeks draft pick setup- I dont see how it would work. If they did, then this week's draft pick setup will be picked next week.   Muhammad Hassan (w/Daivari) vs. The Big Show UGH... UGLY MATCH.   Eddy Guerrero vs. Rey Misterio Jr.   This match could have been a LOT better. 3 and 3/4 stars. There is a problem with the WWE style...and it is speed. If it was just a bit faster, maybe it could go up there. There a reason why Benoit Vs Lesnar was the best match in nearly several months before that even better Triple Threat Match at WM20- It was fast, clean and Vince's style worked when speed is used. When hardly any speed is used, your going to have to use ground based take downs...If this was no DQ, it might have been better because of the slower pace. Now dont get me wrong, a slower pace match I like more than a faster match where no idea of telling the story. And it doesnt help if Eddy looks out of it.   Here is some other items of note...Rhyno is going to Zero-One Max... he might be facing Tanaka if that takes place... The Voodoo Murderers Storyline continues over at AJPW- Taka has asked Chono for help to take care of them... Kojima vs. Mutoh (Triple Crown) and Kawada vs. Miyamoto is a match set for July 26 as well... There is plans for a new Joshi league- Michinoku Joshi starting in 2006...will Ofune be there? TNA is heading to Spike TV in October, so by that time, we will know who is carring the torch of the ECW Leagacy by then, this is parly the help of the UFC (because BOTH Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz has had better relationships with TNA and pretty much, both promotions can feed off of each other to the Top IMO)     ROH Death Before Dishonor 3 Results:   ROH Title Match Jimmy Jacobs and BJ Whitmer over Embassy   Lacey over Cindy Rogers   Carnage Crew over Ring Crew Express with Splash Mountain Neckbreaker off top rope though tables.   ROH Pure Title Samoa Joe over Cabana with armbar   AJ Styles over Petey Williams, Rave Clash on AJ and Destroyer on Styles.   Generation Next over Lacey's Angels...Evans hits a SPRINGBOARD 630 to the outside.   Nigel McGuiness wins 4CS over Azrieal, Gibson and Homicide   Low Ki Vs Jay Lethal-No Contest   ROH TITLE MATCH CM PUNK DEFEATS AUSTIN ARIES TO BECOME NEW ROH WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!     Are they trying to do a ROH angle on WWE? Is CM Heading to Smackdown? WTF is going on here? And how in the world are they going to get it back!?   The Chicara/CZW/IMS divisions have plans for future double headers and such...   and dont forget Fire Pro...New sections are up and a new relese date (which has never happend before) http://www.spike.co.jp/fr/index.html   Thats all for this week...

These 40 days of ECW (Small Notes)

-If you would have told me that Joey Styles was done in the business, and is not as great as he was before, I would said you were wrong. You would be eating crow now. This promo shows how big this really is. And the fact that he wrote this himself- and Vince Let this go- shows the viewers (The marks, the causals) how damning things have been these last five years. -Then again, WWE has to come up with a retort just as good- I think DX- despite being the face team, still needs to show loyality to the fans. You pull out HHH and HBK plus two new guys (with a new mega powered female valet) and have them Face off Cena and McMahan on one end, and RVD and ECW at the other. -Theres a planned show between RAW, and PPV in New York- The Dayton Ohio show, where there billing a WWE vs ECW show. Now do you let RVD face John Cena? Or (Supposdely) JBL? Cena is the most logical choice- JBL cant do anything right now but spout emotional RTC promos- and how this guy was kissing the feet of Dibase many moons ago, how he was apart of All Japans great years...and so on. Dont get me wrong, JBL can cut good promos...but RVD beating John Cena-WWE's spinning Gold Belt Boy, will just put the ! in EC dub! -The issue now becomes, after the PPV (which will become nearly as big as this years WM- and make twice the money) How does the DX respond to Vince after these issues have come out? How does Cena or JBL deal with losing the title? Will the three week rule come to play? -All these issues plus the other storylines make this summer the hottest in years. If this ECW becomes successful, Japan no doubt will follow suit- and TNA will have to get there *** in gear and become motvated. I see nothing but good things if they pull this off.

Batts was tossed around at the start, and given a double flapjack. Clark tagged in and didn't fare much better, with Siaki giving him a dropkick and a neckbreaker. Batts hit Siaki from the apron, and Clark hit a pair of ranas on Siaki. Batts tagged back in, and managed to turn a Siaki leapfrog attempt into a spinebuster. Siaki and Apollo quickly took back over, squashing Batts and Clark with powermoves, and Siaki got the pin on Batts.   ** stars here. Ok work.   Simon Diamond, David Young & Elix Skipper vs. Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt & Shark Boy. Simon cut a promo about how Skipper has been "lost" ever since being forced to break up with Christopher Daniels. Simon said that his guidance would bring Skipper back to the top. Shark started out with Young, trading holds and stalemating. They traded slaps, and Shark hit some chops. Shark Boy ran into a Young elbow, but came back with a neckbreaker for two. Young hit a clothesline, while Shark bit Young on the BUTT. Skipper flipped into the ring and clotheslined Shark while the referee wasn't looking. Diamond tagged in and hit the Simon Series on Shark. Skipper and Dutt tagged in, and the pace picked up, with Skipper hitting a backbreaker and a double underhook suplex on Dutt, then followed with a gut wrench suplex and a kick to the back. Sabin got a hot tag and went to work on Diamond, hitting a rana and a springboard dropkick. Dutt gave Young & Skipper a bodypress, but they caught him, so Shark dropkicked him in the back to send the pile down. Skipper hit a sloppy walking the ropes rana on Dutt, and Young gave Dutt a spinebuster for a two count. Shark hiptossed Young to the floor and gave him a pescado. Dutt gave Skipper an enzugiri and tagged Sabin. Sabin and Skipper exchanged pin attempts, with Sabin grabbing a sunset flip after first attempting a backslide to get the pin on Skipper at the eight minute mark.   ** 3/4 stars. A bit longer and its an easy three.   Alex Shelley vs. Shocker. Shelley went after the legs of Shocker early, while Shocker responded in kind, going for a single leg crab. Shocker then went after the arm, hitting hiptosses and armdrags, then dropping his knee on the arm, all while retaining a wristlock. Shelley went for a Sharpshooter, but Shocker kicked him away. Shelley ducked a kick and hit an elbow to the back of the leg. Shelley wrapped Shocker's leg around the ropes and kicked it. Shelley missed a charge and fell over the top rope to the floor. Shocker went for a dive, Shelley moved, and Shocker did a handstand on the apron so he would land on his feet. Shelley hit an enzugiri, but Shocker dropped him face first on the apron and then hit a backbreaker on the floor. Shelley yanked Shocker throat first across the top rope, but Shocker kicked out his legs on a charge and sent him to the floor. Shocker hit a top rope bodypress to the floor. They traded chops and punches in the ring, but Shocker hit a bulldog and a boot to the face, then applied a twisting figure four leglock. Shelley made the ropes for a break, and hit a double knee in the corner. Shelley hit a tornado DDT for a two count. Shocker blocked a lariat and applied an abdominal stretch-like maneuver with his legs on the mat. Shelley made the ropes, and Shocker applied a reverse Indian Deathlock, but Shelley made the ropes again. Shocker hit a German suplex, but Shelley grabbed a Dragon Screw legwhip. Shocker turned a Shelley toehold into a small package for a two count. Shocker hit a slingshot elbow for a two count. Shocker went for a sunset flip, but Shelley rolled through and dropkicked Shocker, only for Shocker to roll back from the kick and deliver his own dropkick. Shocker went for La Magistral, but Shelley hooked his legs on the ropes and got Shocker's shoulders down for a three count at the eight minute mark.   ** stars. Liked this match. At least there PINNING people.   Lance Hoyt vs. Abyss. Hoyt is dressing like CM Punk now. They started brawling as Hoyt ran into the ring, and Hoyt sent Abyss to the floor and hit a pescado. Hoyt rammed Abyss into the guardrail, but allowed himself to be distracted by Jim Mitchell, and Abyss whipped Hoyt into the rails. Back in the ring, Abyss hit an avalanche, then chopped Hoyt, but Hoyt returned fire. Abyss reversed a whip, but missed a charge and ran shoulder first into the ringpost. Hoyt missed a kick, and Abyss went for a chokeslam, but Hoyt elbowed it away. Abyss hit a lariat and a second rope splash for a two count. Abyss threw Hoyt shoulder first into the ringpost, then did it again in the opposite corner. Hoyt came back with a clothesline off the second rope, then hit a flying shoulderblock. Abyss kicked Hoyt in the gut, then jumped off the second rope, but Hoyt caught him with a chokeslam. Hoyt hit a moonsault for a two count. Hoyt measured Abyss for a superkick, but Abyss caught him with a Black Hole Slam. Hoyt kicked out at two. Abyss went for a chair, and as the referee was trying to take it from him, Hoyt kicked it into Abyss' face for a two count. Abyss went down in a corner, and Hoyt put the chair in front of Abyss' face. Hoyt went to the opposite side of the ring, and hit a springboard dropkick across the ring into the chair, into Abyss' face. Abyss kicked out at two. Hoyt went for a whip, Abyss reversed it, but Hoyt kicked away a backdrop attempt. Hoyt charged, and Abyss grabbed him in another Black Hole Slam to get the pin at the eight minute mark.   *** stars. Hoyt is gettin there. And Abyss is good to stand on his own. Good match.   Ron Killings & Konnan vs. Kip James & Monty Brown, BJ James as special referee. All four men started brawling as soon as Killings and Konnan came out. Kip and Brown took over, with Brown hitting a clothesline on Konnan in the corner. Killings avoided a Kip charge, and 3LK took over, dumping Gunn to the floor, then Killings hitting a sidekick on Brown. Killings then hit a top rope legdrop on Kip as Konnan held his legs apart. They went to the floor and brawled, and then finally settled into a tag team match, with Konnan on the apron, while Kip hit Killings with a backbreaker before going to the apron. In the ring, Brown slammed Killings and worked him over in a corner. Kip tagged in and continued the assault on Killings as they kept Konnan from tagging in. Brown suplexed Killings, and James was slow getting down for the count. Brown hit some crossface shots, then applied a neck vice. Brown hit a knee to James' midsection for a two count, then the two collided in center ring. Konnan got the tag and cleaned house on Kip, hitting a rolling clothesline. Brown came in, and was given a facebuster. Konnan took off his sneaker and threw it at Kip. He then went to throw it at Brown, but James got in the way and took the sneaker to the back. Kip went for a Fameasser on Konnan, but Konnan ducked it and hit a facebuster. Killings and Brown fought to the floor. Konnan went for a chair, but James wouldn't let him use it. Kip hit Konnan, and grabbed the chair. James wouldn't let Kip use the chair either, then started punching Kip. Konnan blasted Kip with the chair, and covered him for the pin, with James making the count at the nine minute mark. 3LK, reunited, then embraced in the center of the ring.   ** stars. Ok but it was just there.   Christopher Daniels vs. Austin Aries. Daniels' X-Division title was not on the line. Before Aries came out, Daniels cut a promo, referencing Jeff Jarrett's "paranoia" about TNA wrestlers being replaced, and saying he could never be replaced. Daniels said that Aries might be "Mr. Independent" and "Mr. Ring Of Honor", but he was just a "warm up" match for "Mr. TNA". Aries got right in Daniels' face after coming out, and the two went right at it. Aries hit a back elbow off the middle rope at the start, then went to a front facelock. Daniels reversed into a facelock of his own, but Aries pulled out of it and dropkicked Daniels to the floor. Aries hit a low tope, going between the bottom and middle ropes. Aries chopped Daniels on the floor, then rolled him into the ring and hit a slingshot twisting splash for a two count. Aries went for a leapfrog in a corner, but Daniels caught him and hit a shoulderbreaker for two. Daniels slammed Aries three times in a row, then covered him for a two count. Daniels whipped Aries into the corner, then stood on his back and head. Daniels drove a knee into Aries' back, then put him in a chinlock. Aries came back with a sunset flip, but Daniels hit him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for two, then pounded him with right hands. Daniels slammed Aries and hit an Arabian Press to the back for a two count. Daniels set up for the Angel's Wings, but Aries rolled away from it. Daniels slapped Aries, then went for a suplex, but Aries floated over and hit a slap. Daniels charged, and Aries hit a dorp tow hold. They started trading shots, with Aries getting the better of it and then hitting a clothesline and a pair of back elbows. Aries hit a swinging pendulum elbow for a two count. Daniels backdropped Aries to the apron, but Aries slingshotted right back in and hit a back elbow, then a dropkick. Aries hit a sideslam for a two count. Daniels hit a chinbuster and a faceplant to turn the tide. Daniels went for the Best Moonsault Ever, bur Aries moved out of the way and kicked Daniels in the head. Aries hit a 450 splash, but Daniels reached out and grabbed the bottom rope to stop the count. Daniels hit an STO and used the ropes for leverage for a cover, but the referee saw it. Aries grabbed a backslide for a two count, then went for a neckbreaker, but Daniels reversed it into the Angel's Wings for the pin at the nine minute mark.   *** 1/2 stars. Is it me, or this match could have been 2 min longer and it would have been four stars?   They gave Lynn a big introduction for his return to TNA in-ring action from shoulder surgery, calling him the "pioneer of the X-Division". Lynn offered a handshake at the start, and after exchanging words, Waltman shook it. They locked up, with the two trading waistlocks. Waltman took Lynn to the mat and rode him, but Lynn took his legs out as he got up and did the same, then paintbrushed the back of his head. Lynn grabbed a wristlock, but Waltman rolled out of it and reversed the hold. Lynn rolled out and hit an armdrag. Waltman called for a test of strength, but Lynn gave him a crotch chop before going for the fingerlock. Waltman swept Lynn's legs out, but Lynn got to his feet before Waltman could take advantage. They went for the test of strength again, but Lynn walked the ropes with it and armdragged Waltman, only for Waltman to come back with a spin kick. Lynn leapfrogged Waltman in a corner and used a headscissors to send Waltman to the floor. Lynn went to the top rope and hit a flying bodypress on Waltman on the floor. Lynn chopped Waltman on the floor, but Waltman grabbed Lynn and rammed him shoulder first into the ringpost.   Waltman got back in the ring and gave Lynn a baseball slide dropkick as Lynn tried to get into the ring. Lynn was favoring his left arm as he got in the ring, and Waltman choked him with a boot against the ropes. Waltman hit some chops, and soon the two were trading chops back and forth. Lynn went for a whip, but his arm was hurting, and Waltman grabbed a bodyscissors for a two count. Waltman hit a legdrop for two, as we saw that Shark Boy was watching from the ramp. Waltman put Lynn in a chinlock, then a surfboard. Chris Sabin came out to watch as well. Waltman hit a shoulderbreaker for a two count. Waltman hit a series of kicks, and a spinkick in the corner. Sonjay Dutt was now watching. Waltman missed a Bronco Buster in the corner, and Lynn hit a series of rights. Waltman went for a clothesline, but Lynn ducked and hit a flying headscissors, sending Waltman to the floor. As Waltman got in, Lynn charged, and Waltman side stepped him, so Lynn fell to the floor. Waltman dove from the ring with a somersault senton, connecting with Lynn on the floor.   Waltman went to suplex Lynn back into the ring, but Lynn reversed it, suplexing Waltman from the apron to the floor. Both men crashed hard, but Lynn got up and tossed Waltman back into the ring. Lynn hit a top rope dropkick, was slow to get up, then hit a backdrop and a clothesline. Lynn hit a Thesz Press and a series of rights. Waltman decked Lynn and went for a rana, but Lynn turned it into a powerbomb for a two count. Lynn went for a cradle piledriver, but his arm was hurting, and Waltman reversed into an X-Factor for a two count, as Lynn got his foot on the bottom rope. Waltman went to the top rope for a flying bodypress, but Lynn rolled through it into a cover for two. Lynn hit a swinging DDT for another near fall. Lynn went for a tombstone piledriver, but Waltman reversed into his own tombstone for a two count. Waltman lifted Lynn off the mat, but Lynn rolled him into a victory roll for the pin at the fifteen minute mark.   *** and 3/4 stars. X-Pac? Good Match? NEVER! But it happend. They busted there asses.   Team Canada vs. America's Most Wanted & The Naturals. The two sides started off fast, with lots of tagging and run-ins on each other. James Storm was giving Petey Williams a spinning powerbomb when he had his knee clipped out from behind. Team Canada went to work on Storm's knee, keeping him from making a tag until he got a hot tag to Chris Harris. Harris hit a delayed vertical suplex on Eric Young for a two count. AMW and The Naturals were working well as a unit. Team Canada managed to get Chase Stevens on their side of the ring and work him over for a while, until Stevens hit a springboard enzugiri from the top rope that sent Eric Young from the top rope to the floor. Andy Douglas got the hot tag and cleaned house. The match broke down, with everyone starting to hit their finishers and brawling in and out of the ring. Harris hit a top rope dive on a pile of wrestlers on the floor. In the ring, Bobby Roode went for second rope German suplex attempt on Chase Stevens. Chris Harris went to powerbomb Roode out of the corner, and ended up helping Roode in his suplex of Stevens. The match continued, with Team Canada trying unsuccessfully to use the hockey stick. Roode ended up ramming Stevens into Storm, who was on the apron, and rolled up Stevens for the pin at the ten minute mark.   ** stars...well they had to calm down the croud a bit before the next match. Not bad but there teasing a heel turn for AMW...   Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles, Super X Cup Finals. Christopher Daniels, wearing a suit, joined the announcers for this match. The winner of this match will face Daniels at the September 11th PPV. They traded kicks to the legs at the start, then Styles hit a legsweep and kicked at Joe on the mat. Styles hit some shoulderblocks in the corner and slammed Joe, then hit a kneedrop for a one count. Styles hit a kick to the back, then delivered some forearm, but Joe came back with a big right, and then a running knee that sent Styles though the ropes and to the floor. Joe then hit a powerful tope. They fought on the outside, with Styles jumping off the guardrail into a forearm shot that downed Joe. Styles chopped Joe and tossed him into the ring. Styles went for a suplex, muscling Joe over for a two count. Styles applied a Mutalock, but Joe got out and hit a shoulderblock. Styles dropkicked Joe's legs out from under him. Joe came off the ropes, and Styles teased a dropkick, but Joe put on the breaks, and Styles backflipped to avoid falling to the mat. Styles charged Joe, who caught him with a STO. Joe hit a running knee to the chest in the corner, then hit some boot scrapes to the face in the corner. Joe hit a running kick to the face. Joe swept Styles' leg out for a two count. Joe snapmared Styles, chopped his back, kicked his chest, and dropped a knee for a two count.   Joe applied a chinlock, then hit a shoulderblock as Styles got out. Styles tried the rana from mat, but Joe caught him and powerbombed him, then turned him into a Boston Crab. Styles tried to power out, but Joe dropped down into an STF. AJ made the ropes, and Joe missed a clothesline. Styles hit a dropkick and a moonsault into an inverted DDT for a two count. Styles went to the top rope, but Joe met him there. They traded shots, and Styles slugged Joe to the mat. Styles hit a springboard somersault senton for a two count. Styles hit a Pele kick, then rolled up Joe for a two count. Styles went for the Styles Clash, but Joe kicked him off. Joe hit a sunset flip, then went into a rolling cradle around the ring before stopping for a two count. Styles, disoriented, went for a Pele kick that missed by a mile, and Joe followed with a vicious clothesline for a two count. Joe hit some kicks, and soon they were trading forearms, with Styles getting the better of it. Joe hit a series of open hand shots, and Styles responded with an enzugiri to the face of Joe. Both men were down, and slow to get up. Joe went for a Muscle Buster, but Styles floated over, hit a kick to the head, and then put Joe in a Torture Rack. Styles spun the Torture Rack into a sideslam, but accidentally hit the referee. With the referee down, Christopher Daniels ran in and gave Styles an STO. Daniels then went to hit Joe with the X-Division Title, but Joe turned and Daniels stopped in his tracks. Styles charged Daniels and clotheslined him to the floor. Joe and Styles went back at it, with Joe hitting Styles with shots in a corner. Joe lifted Styles up and hit the Muscle Buster (double leg fisherman's buster), then locked in the rear naked choke with a body scissors. Styles struggled to reach the ropes, but finally couldn't, and tapped out at the fifteen minute mark.   I want to give this a 4 and 1/2 stars, but I am going to dock this and give it *** and 3/4 stars because of the interferance. This was a wonderfull match never the less.   Raven & Sabu vs. Jeff Jarrett & Rhino. Cassidy Reilly was sitting in the front row, dressed like Raven (as he was during the pre-show). There was an "ECW" chant as the bell rang. Raven and Jarrett went nose-to-nose to start the match, with Jarrett bailing out right away and letting Rhino go at it with Raven. They went right to the floor, with Raven giving Rhino three Russian legsweeps into the guardrail. Sabu tagged in, and traded shots with him. Sabu flipped over a backdrop attempt and dropkicked Rhino's legs out, then hit a legdrop for a two count. Rhino hit a shoulderblock, but Sabu came back with a spinkick and put Rhino in a camel clutch. Jarrett ran in the break it up, and Raven attacked Jarrett, hitting a kick in the corner and taking him to the floor. Raven threw Jarrett over the announcers table. Sabu and Rhino brawled on the other side of the ring, with Sabu suplexing Rhino on the ramp. Raven sliced Jarrett's forehead open with a pizza cutter, then hit him with a trash can. In the ring, Sabu threw a chair at Rhino, then hit a chair launch into a rana. Sabu put Rhino on the top rope, then climbed the ropes and hit a rana for a two count. Sabu went for a Triple Jump Moonsault, but Rhino tripped him into a chair. Jarrett then hit Sabu with a chair from the floor, and rolled up Sabu for a two count. Rhino hit Sabu with a chairshot for another two. A bloody Jarrett tagged in, and gave him a top rope superplex. Rhino tagged back in for a two count.   Rhino headbutted Sabu, then stomped him in the corner. Rhino went for a superplex, but Sabu knocked Rhino off the ropes and hit a somersault senton on a standing Rhino. Sabu hit an enzugiri and tagged Raven. Raven hit a discuss lariat on Rhino, and one on Jarrett. Raven hit Rhino with a lariat, and gave him and Jarrett kneelifts. Raven gave Jarrett a bulldog and clotheslined Rhino at the same time. Raven hit Rhino with a DDT, but Jarrett pulled the referee out of the ring. Sabu attacked Jarrett on the floor, and threw him into the ring. Jarrett hit Raven with a low blow and went for his guitar. Cassidy Reilly ran in and grabbed the guitar from Jarrett, then left with it. Jarrett hit Raven with the Stroke instead, but only got a two count. Rhino tagged in and bit Raven on the head. Raven was busted open, and Rhino punched him to the mat and got a two count. Jarrett tagged in, and went for a figure four leglock. He got it locked in, but Raven managed to turn it over and break out. Jarrett set up a chair in the ring, and went for a drop toe hold into it, but Raven side stepped it, picked up the chair, and threw it at Jarrett. Sabu and Rhino tagged in, with Sabu hitting Jarrett and Rhino with chairshots. Sabu hit Air Sabu on both men, with Jarrett falling to the floor. Sabu hit Rhino with a Triple Jump Legdrop, but Rhino kicked out at two. Rhino rolled to the floor, and Sabu hit him with a springboard bodypress.   In the ring, Jarrett gave Raven a drop toe hold into the chair for a two count. Raven blocked a whip and hit a DDT, but Rhino got in to break up the pin. Rhino gave Raven a Gore, but Sabu broke it up. Sabu whipped Rhino into a corner, but ran into an elbow. Rhino went for the Gore on Sabu, but Sabu ducked and Rhino gored the referee. Sabu hit Rhino with a chair, then gave him an Atomic Arabian Facebuster. Sabu rolled Rhino onto a table at ringside. Abyss came out, grabbed Sabu, and slammed him through the table at ringside (which Rhino had rolled off of). Jeff Hardy, to a big pop, ran out, took out Abyss, then gave Jarrett the Twist Of Fate and a Swanton Bomb. Hardy took off to the back, as Raven covered Jarrett. A new referee came out, but Rhino broke up the cover. Rhino set up a table in the corner. Jarrett went for the Stroke on Raven, but Raven reversed it and set up for a DDT. Rhino charged across the ring and gored Raven through the table. Rhino covered Raven and got the pin at the sixteen minute mark, with Sabu hitting them with a legdrop, but not until after the three count had gone down...   *** stars... It was a better match than it had to be...   TNA has a good Crusier, X Division and Heavy Division...that will only get better.   The only weakness is the Tag Division but that might start to change with the Corino Inventational.   I have nothing but praise for this show. It was WAY better than GAB. Could be better than Summerslam if WWE doesnt play there cards well.   A shout out to the new radio show on The SmarkMarks website, the Danger Zone! OMG Guess who one the G1...again!       The Reactions were Fast and Furious:         However...Josh Barnett was the star of G-1...even though he was out...       This is a post from Josh Barnett:     I’m not in the G-1. Again. For the past two years it has been teased and even officially announced but yet again I can only watch. At this point I start to wonder why I should even care about the G-1 or even the IWGP since I probably won’t get another shot at that either. Instead maybe I should focus my energy not on to titles or tournaments but in simply in demolishing the wrestlers themselves.   A statement. A grand statement punctuated with the bodies of the wrestlers who stand in my way. It’s not personal but if New Japan is going to put you over me and keep me down then it’s either you or me. You better believe that it’s always gonna be me.   To anyone in New Japan, if you think you deserve to be in the ring more than I you can always prove it. Anytime anyone in New Japan wishes to make their point they can meet me in the ring or the street and we can settle things. That goes for Kawada too. If he wants to show me how tough he is I would be more than happy to remove the rest of his teeth for him.   I don’t have time to play games and as I fighter I certainly lack anymore patience to sit idly by and watch others take my spot. Its war now and I’m going to do what I have to do to show the world the “true” Josh Barnett. Even if I have to do it covered in the blood of New Japan’s wrestlers.     YIPES... This could be as big as Hardy Vs Edge...   More on Friday/Saturday...

DAMN.

I havent posted alot. Thats for personal reasons.   But I had to state something about the recent events that took place this morning.   One of the last greats of the Buisness has passed on. And all i have to say is that we as fans are FUBAR'D.   The Fasade has finally been taken off of alot of fans and now the realize that no Edward Guerrero=No Smackdown or WWE.   A talent like him...or like Benoit's, comes once every 15-20 years. TNA/The Indies (Joe maybe Daniels) have some, Japan had several. But for every mega hoss that Vince or Turner would Push, There was someone like Eddy to prove that talent doesnt have to be in a 6'6 295 frame.   Smackdown after Rock was Eddies show more often than not. Even when Lesner was around, and after he beat Benoit (which was one of the reasons why they started the Title Feud in the first place) who never tapped out in his carrer, Eddie compleated shocked every one when he beat Lesnar. In that sense, he became one of the better champions in the last Decade.   However, it got too much for him. And he being the champ became too much of a strain. JBL beat him later that year and started one of the most conversal reigns in the companies history.   But it was still Eddies show.   No matter how bad the script was written, Eddie would do better.   He Finally had his great match with Benoit.   But still, not for a title, who knows what would have been?   But too little too late.   And now for a Industry at a crossroads, game time.   Time to restructure, and find out the honesty that has been so missing.   Who is the next big draw?   Who is the next big star?   If the men cant do it why are the Females being hindered?   All these questions...time only has the answers.   God Bless Eddy.

A Year In Review/Predictions for 2006

This year has been full of sadness and disapointments, Hashimoto in Japan and Gurrereo in the states stands out. The way New Japan handled it and the way that WWE has handled it shows where each company is headed.   There were a few bright spots however.   NOAH was a major bright spot.   OVW improved and became better than its "Higher" counterpart in many ways.   ROH had a ok year, but a very well capible champion in American Dragon.   New Japan is restruring   TNA in all intents and perpouses had a much better year PPV wise and Wresling wise than WWE...   All must hail Joe.   The Indies in Japan and the States are getting larger on a montly basis.   Im not shocked at CMLL's success this year. They have been a very logical company for several years. At least there HONEST about what they do (when it comes to the Divas of course)   The only bright spot for WWE was the ECW PPV. The buyrates get higher every damn month (which leads me to believe that the WWE really hid the actual number)   Oh and did I Forget...FIRE PRO RETURNS!!!!!   2006?   If cable stays stable- I sucpect that Spike TV's "investment" will pay off. (oh and Joe's staying... and I make the bold predition that American Dragon heads to TNA)   Unless Paul Heyman, or Jim Cornnete is the main booker for WWE, the recovery for that company will be REALLY slow.   New Japan will sign Brock, and he will have a 9 month title reign. His match with Nakamura will be a good test, and he will Face Fuita after wards. They will give it to Nakamura however and it up to him to rise to the challange.   NOAH is going to be the number one company in Japan for a LONG time to come however- and it would be in both TNA and WWE intrests to train some of there workers there (Monty Brown, AJ Hoigt- the majority of the midcard in the WWE) The MMA game boom is dying, so it would be in there best intrest for the Japanese companies to take that opertunity.   It might be intresting to see, but i sucpect this is a womens year in Wresling. I would not be suprised if the third main event in the major cards for this year are Joshi titles. Sendai is gonna be HOT. Shimmer is going to be a ROH like promotion. Expect to see more females in the game soon.   As for OVW...its gonna be treated as the bastard child of the WWE development groups as the Altanta devlopment promotion is put in better standing.   As for WWE trying to be hollywood? It would succeed and yet fail and hurt them in many ways. Expect that there will be more womens matches as the men try to be thespens.   And finally Aki gets back in the Wresling Video Game world.   all in 2006

How Booker T Really Became King Booker, and ECW...

Worries...   Is it me, or anybody else here- Are at least a bit Pleased at the developments over at Standford CT? Paul Heyman is the king of booking under pressure. Not sure what his plans are but one thing is that after picking Kurt Angle for ECW work, ANYTHING and Mircles can happen. However most of the matches have changed- its somewhat not a good sign...but Paul E has full control (with Tommy Dreamer having a little less, but expect the same mixure of techs and hardcore for the first six episodes, then they will have 70% Techs and 30% hardcore.)   What they are planning is a UWFI promotion- a mix of shoot and pro with hardcore elements. The hardcore elements are the key, despite what other tell you. If they are able to smartly use it in a fastion that doesnt hurt the workers, doesnt insult the fans, brings new people in, and brings ratings (Because it seems even miss Hunter is getting some of the Bastista Juice) Its a winning situation for BOTH TNA and ECW- Because it will a game of on oneupmanship. And since we have ROH in the middle, and TNA uses some indies, the indies will get big ups because some stars will face both TNA and ECW/WWE stars if Paul E or Borash/Cornette (if he gets some of the book) desides to use storylines dealing with the Indies. That brings more people to the indies, which in turn, the if the indies book smartly (and that a huge if) bring more money to the promotion, then a few stars head to TNA or ECW, they use that indy storyline to promote the worker, the worker does well, it moves to Smackdown/RAW/TNA Main Event level and they know what they did in ECW and TNA's X-Division via the indies. They made money for everybody inloved, and the rest is history.   This happend before. RVD? Stone Cold? Raven? Chris Benoit? Even though no connecting storylines happend (other than RVD during the invaison) it has worked wonders. This is one way to each part of the business to work with each other with out stealing much talent.   Somethings that need to happen for the show, is to give the sci-fi fans who are horror flick fans- to give that horror film gimmick...or something like rumble roses with the females (It is a sci-fi game anyhow) And Nova works... (I dont understand why Bravo would not take ECW- its the second channel down that is closer to USA Network but if Sci-Fi does well they might make a shared deal, where Bravo gets the first run shows and Sci-Fi gets a second run to compete with TNA's second run of Impact.)   While that has been happing, Booker T is getting a major push- the reason being that now hes nearing the end and this will be one final run at the top. Another thing being is this bit of news:     (From WO)   Booker T is a rare commadty, We have seen many Afro-American stars, the strong Zeus, Tony Atlus and so on. But this guy has been on fire for nearly 2 years nearing the end of his run. The fact that hes had changed his move set in to more of a Hasimoto/Von Erich/Kawada, lots of tech when he needs to but he will bust several kicks and use alot of chops to set up power based moves. The thing is that he can still do alot of the moves that he did in WCW, and with a sheer drop brain buster he will be more complete than he ever was in WCW, I dont fear for smackdowns future. He can get a great match out of the Undertaker, he did it with Kurt, did it with Benoit. Besides, the CW has some of UPN's shows, and looking at the lineup, King Booker (with Rey returning later) Given a chance can save smackdown. Its UP to W-C-W/WWE to promote these two (and Batista if he wants to shut his mouth)   And before I go...     When your the General you get all the ladies!

Sometimes I dont Get Vince. (and other things)

(Note: I havent been around and the reason being is that I am starting a Animation Production Company- Garou Gothic. And so that has been taken a lot of my time.)   This is from PWInisder:       Wow.   Im stunned. Utterlly Stunned. First lets go back what he stated about ECW. One, he was honest about it. Basicly I was left without a clue on where they were going to do with ECW after the Summerslam PPV. But after the deal, they went Taped, TEST (TEST...TEST?) and Bob Holly had great matches (with no Piledrivers sadly) against RVD (who is now pretty much become Hashimoto in his Offencive Style- which is the natural evloution of his AJPW/ECWv1 Offence).   The larger point i want to mention is the Divas. Ok, Vince- this is the strangest comments I have ever seen. You want to show Divas in a "classy way" but need more sexuality on the website. (The word your looking for is Senuality, Vince). Then he metioned the why the Divas went from a Joshi based Divison, to a strippers. He stated that we want to see more female matches and relationships between the male and the females...then states...Times have changed... Times have changed. However, will there be a new focus on the Division? Time will tell (But Strip Poker...uhh...yeah...but considering ECW's history)   Hes high on Finley, which is not a shock- because Finley is one of the last great Catch-based Pro Stars. He doesnt have the looks, but a damn good Finsher, and a interesting move set. His lariats (short range) are more blowback haymakers than true shortrange lariats. Benoit's planned Final run, (which i think it is) will be for a world title. Dont be suprised if its between Finley- or maybe Kennedy or MVP. Its gonna be at least 2 years before I even want Lashey start running for the Title- He needs to fix his punches, and change his power based move set into Hybrid style like Terkay.   But in a more intresting and somewhat sad note. Youtube is a bit of a problem for me. Bad Codecs, even worse streams. But there was a few things I saw. The way a Joshi match is done. Folks, lets put it this way. They fly around, they dont die, every damn MOVE COUNTS even when you think its not important. And because of Low Center Of Graverty, they are the purest fighters. In some of the links in Youtube, Kudo and Toyota (along with there partners) showed us how crazy these ladies fight. When you see Toyota fly, the girl rips the taste out of Kudos Mouth not once, BUT 6 TIMES! The later dated matches, shows a little bit of a old style the old ladies used to do, however it a little WWE fided. But its amazing how they turn out a show. But one of the videos there was a training episode with Sakamura (Mariko). One of her traininees tries a drop kick. She couldint get it. FIVE times. Then Sakamura does the drop kick and RIPS HER FUCKING HEAD OFF. The trainee is bleeding. Thats the love this lady as for the sport. If thats just the womens...Think about the men...and how far they go. Tough Enough has nothing on Puro/Joshi training. Were even lucky we have Joe and Danileson that can hang with these guys.   The sad thing is now, Zero One has a Joshi Fed called SUN. Which is bringing back the NWA and AWA titles for females. They brought some African American Bodybuilder, named Africa 55. (HEY Naki-San, WHY NOT call her Sista A while ya at it!) and others. But to bring big amazon like girls to to feed the need...ugh...   Will Joshi see a new sunrise?
