I love the fact that this title win is going to make Brock an even BIGGER heel in the eyes of a lot of hardcore MMA people. I really hope Brock goes around talking about how he beat the hell out of Randy, a legend, and really plays up that angle.

One recent one I've loved is Finlay's theme.

In defense of Honky or at least playing devil's advocate, his concern was that he wasn't just dropping the belt to Savage... he was going to do it in front of 30 million people on national television. His market value would have dropped off considerably (especially since he was drawing major money during the time they were running two house shows and the IC champion headlined the B show) since they were supposedly going to repackage him back down to the bottom of the card. Not saying it's the best excuse around, but losing the title on what was the most watched wrestling program in history as opposed to losing it at a house show or even a PPV was vastly different at the time. As for the character itself, it was great. A natural heat magnet, and Ferris mined it for all it was worth. He made no attempt to make HTM a likable character, and that is the sign of a great heel.

Taker's theme will always be tops for me because he simply has the best entrance of anyone on the roster. It's the equivalent of the Road Warrior/Iron Man entrance from the 1980's. I do, however, have a soft spot for JBL's theme since I was a huge fan of "Dallas". Some other favorites from 2000 on: Edge (Has had multiple good entrance themes) The Rock (No-brainer) Eddie Guererro (Both Latino Heat and I Lie, I Cheat, I Steal) Kurt Angle

When have they ever discussed Lex Luger on these shows, other than bashing him? Seriously, though, I'm glad they went ahead and put these in a DVD package... especially for those not getting 24/7. The Andre the Giant/Iron Sheik episode alone is worth the price of the set.

I was always a big fan of the superplex... especially when the guy would roll over onto his opponent and into the pin as the move was completed. Jake's DDT was still the best. It had the speed/impact of a snap suplex, which made it look deadlier than what it was. His short arm clothesline was also a pretty effective set-up move.

Jeff as a heel would be great. He could blame the fans for all the times he tried to kill himself in the ring, entertaining them, and then it has got him no-where. It's been done before, but it's highly effective.

CM Punk is a great heel. He's straight edge, just go holier than thou, talk down to everyone who drinks and smokes, easy transition. I don't think Jeff could work as a heel, simply for the fact that his whole moveset is based around popping the crowd, and he's not solid enough on the mic to really give a money heel turn promo. So even if they tried turning him, his high risk moves would still keep him popular. Rey sucked at his failed heel turn for this very same reason. When did Rey work heel? Filthy Animals days? And Jeff Hardy would SO work as a heel at this point. All he'd have to do is blame the fans for popping for all the high risk moves he did, and then blame them for those said moves never getting him over the top. He'd generate heel heat instantly.

Back in Magnum T.A.'s day, the belly to belly was sold as a devastating instant match-ending finisher. Not so much in Douglas' day though.

I believe Steamboat wanted to go heel at one point, and someone told him (It might have been Pat Patterson) that he could shoot Hulk Hogan in the middle of the ring... and people still wouldn't boo him. I might have the specifics of the quote mixed up, but that was the basic premise.

Yeah... if I remember correctly, Williams no-sells pretty much everything from Liger and Watts.
