I would think that the emergence of the DVD market has some effect on this as well. By editing the movie down to a PG13 rating, then releasing both that and a R/unrated "Director's Cut" on DVD you can potentially increase profits.

I hate it when people piss on Reality TV as a whole, since there are some great shows out there, like The Mole and The Amazing Race. As for The Will, a crappy show is a crappy show, no matter what the genre.

I have to agree with you there. Regardless, they've done 2 swerve deaths in what, 4 episodes? I know the writers are better than that. Next one better be real. And it better not be the old woman or Vincent or Walt, either. I like Night Court, but I didn't really think it found it's legs until Mac and Billie came aboard. There was too much "we don't like Harry" in S1. It's close to one and the same for me, although there are some that are in the "when I have the spare cash" list. Ron D Moore's Battlestar Galactica falls under that.

Actually it's something that's routinely said by football announcers. The difference being that they explain it correctly - if there's a botched snap or a fumble prior to the kick, the offensive team retains since there was technically no field goal attempted and missed.

The only time I've been able to tolerate this guy was during Dream Job, since he didn't shout all the time. And any hope I had that this show would die a quick death ended when I saw that it would be on ESPN2, which continues to give us Cold Pizza (fortunately, Thea Andrews is hot).

The problem is that all the nice teams - except Kris and Jon - have been eliminated already, so I say string 'em up, unless they get nice people (or HOT CHICKS) who are good racers as well. For TAR8 anyways. They've already sparked some hate for TAR7 with their casting (if you didn't know who they cast here's a hint) At this point I'm just hoping that Kris and Jon win, and that Lori and Bolo are one of the final three (since they haven't pissed me off yet).
