He does? "TIGER BOMB!" Next. What does that even mean?

Random pop-ups on IE, computer running slowly (the taskbar freezes constantly), there's this thing that when I access a page, it'll highlight a certain word and change it into a link...there's probably more but I'm not at home right now so I can't check it out.

The Bryte/Tina wedding was scheduled to go down next week...I'm really not sure I have the time to write it, though, so I'll just out it down as tentative.
-
Well, since it's posted now, the updated version of my skit edited in?

Adam, the clocks are a bit slow, but maybe you can click PFL's username and check under "User's Local Time" for the difference. As for me, the deadline's 5, so naturally, you can expect me to have all my stuff in by at least 7.

I doubt that they had planned that far ahead with Austin. He had just gotten the title.

No Mercy is probably the best out of that list. I haven't watched it in a while, but I remember liking Unforgiven a lot when it originally aired. Well, for Chyna/Jarrett and the great ME anyway.

Most people call me 'Keem (short for Akeem). Girls tend to switch it up to "Keemy." In High School, people called me "Dream". Also, there were some people who called me "Coolers", making fun of the size of my lips. I explained it before the last time we had a thread like this. People who know about my involvement in e-feds call me "P", which is short for Panther. And there was this one girl I used to know who saw fit to call me "Pepe" for God knows what reason.

Which one? I always thought 97 WCW was overrated, BTW. Just the same stuff every week. Hogan and Bischoff come out, Hogan plays air guitar, nWo beats somebody down, Sting drops from the rafters, end of show. The shows weren't as bad as as they'd get eventually, but they couldn't touch what Raw was putting out at the time.

Probably Goldust's. Shamrock had history with Bret from Wrestlemania (when he threw Bret down after the match), plus there was that angle between he and Austin where Steve gave him the Stunner after he came down to save him from an attack by the Harts. Aside from an I-C Title 3-Way against HHH and Owen, I can't even remember Goldust being involved with the Harts before Canadian Stampede. Edit: Forgot about the European Title match against Bulldog where Bulldog tried to hit Marlena with the chair. I'd still say that Shawn would've been better off taking Goldust's spot.

July-September 96 when the nWo first got started.
-
I don't think they ever banned DDTs. Rock and HHH have been using them forever.
-
Yeah. I forget the exact date, but it was on a Raw in June 97 (probably the week after their scheduled June 9th match that got cancelled when the Harts attacked Austin). The Hart Foundation was cuffed to the ringpost for the match.
-
They did have backstage interviews.

Even Bret has come out and said that Owen could've done a little more for Austin following the accident. I'm not saying that he should've been upset with him, I don't think his hard feelings towards Owen were completely unjustified.

The way they built it, Brock/Benoit would've been better suited for Mania if you ask me, but if they were planning on moving him to Raw all along, a Rumble blow off would've made more sense than Brock/Holly. But I still say it's more justifiable than the Bradshaw thing, though. Not to beat a dead horse, but Holly/Brock wasn't what sold the show. It was the Rumble match that sold the show. With Judgment Day, they're trying to sell the show on a character that's still in its developmental stages. Rather than take the time to allow Bradshaw to get over in his new role and move from there, they're throwing him into the title picture right off the bat and not only expect us to care about the character, but also put down $40 to see him wrestle. Even if you take the Rumble out of the equation, if I could choose between Brock/Holly and Eddie/Bradshaw for the Judgment Day main event based on build and backstory alone, I'd choose Brock/Holly, because at least they had a solid storyline to work with, and their feud was easier for fans to relate to. As of right now, what is there about Bradshaw/Eddie that could justify me putting down money to see them fight?
-
Booker would've been the most logical choice. Not that Booker's such a great draw himself, but it'd be a lot easier to sell that match than to just create a challenger out of nowhere and just tossing him in the main event. Plus their TV match wasn't bad, so we could get something nice out of it.

What is the last thing you spent money on?

Publie Enemy was racist now? When did I say that PE was racist? He was asking whether or not Dead Prez is militant like PE and I said that they're more extreme because they'll take the "Kill Whitey" stance. For example, from "Fuck the Law" off the Get Free or Die Trying Mixtape: "Slap a white boy, snuff your landlord. Smash the windows, break the camcorder. Rob the corner store, rob the precinct..." And even with that, I'm a little hesitant to call them a racist group, because they're more anti-establishment than they are anti-white. Hell, most of their fans *are* white.

Bradshaw is far worse. For every bad thing you can say about Brock/Holly, it was tolerable because the storyline going into the match was an easy one to tell, and aside from Brock running from a man half his size, it really wasn't all that hard for fans to understand. Add the fact that Hardcore's character was already established, and the fact that it took place at the Royal Rumble (the Rumble itself was the show's real drawing point, not Holly/Brock) and it's very understandable why they'd sign that match. The Bradshaw situation is worse, not because of his wrestling ability (or lack thereof), but because WWE is relying on him, an unproven character, to headline the show, and it really doesn't make sense. Bradshaw has had no beef with Eddie in the past, he hasn't won a match that's meant anything since maybe 99, and those are reasons enough not to toss him in the match. Add to that the fact that the JBL character itself is less than a month old, so over the next few weeks, not only do they have to try and sell him as a ME quality wrestler, but they actually have to build the character itself and try and get it over to the fans, which is just plain stupid. Going about it this way puts a lot of unnecessary work on the writers, plus it's brought down the Smackdown product as a whole, because they've had to devote a lot of airtime to the development of the JBL character over the last few weeks.

I'm not totally sure, but I think it may have happened when Elecktra turned on them for the new Dangerous Alliance. I vaguely remember Styles mentioning that the Dudleys pinned him sometime in 99 when he and Sabu lost the belts. It may have been a match that took place in Japan or something. I can't remember Rob having any non-title matches as TV Champ, so you can probably rule that one out. I don't remember exactly who he beat (I wanna say Guido, but it may have been Sal) but he won a match to get into the group. Guido and Tony won the tag belts shortly afterwards. They gave him 3D after a loss to Balls and Spike. Hell if I know. I wasn't watching all that often in late 2000, and the CW Anderson push around that time just seemed to come outta nowhere to me. I doubt it. What reason would have have had for doing that? There were rumors that Paul was upset about his leaving for WCW in 98, and as a result, he decided to punish Sandman when he returned. I think I remember hearing Sandman dismiss this, though. I hope all that's right. I'm real foggy on a lot of ECW stuff.

Shamrock had a neck injury (IIRC) and had to back out. The Smackdown match (with Jericho in Hockey gear, I think) was just done to injure Shamrock and explain his absence from TV.

I think I may have got myself into some shit. Last week, I made an online charge to my card (and before anyone asks, YES it was porn). I've made a bunch of online orders before (from Amazon, clothing, and even said porn site once before) without problem, so I really didn't think anything of it. I even checked by account balance right before making the charge to ensure that everything was straight as far as money was concerned. Now I make the charge, checked my balance afterwards, and for the first everything was fine. I still had a good amount of money in the bank. However, Saturday night, I just happened to check my balance again (I always try to log in periodically to make sure I don't get any surprises when my statement comes in) and see that my account is $33 overdrawn. Now I had made NO charges in between the time I made the afforementioned charge and the time I checked my balance, and no one I know even has access to my card, so obviously, something's up. I was thinking it may have been an error, since it wasn't showing me where the charge came from or when it was made, but today I called the Wachovia (bank) office and found out that it was no mistake, and someone had made a rather large charge on my account. Now still, I'm thinking this isn't too big a deal, because I can just cancel my card and get a new one, but then the clerk I'm talking to starts bringing up stuff about filing an affidavit or something so that she can file my case, and I'm starting to panic a bit, because I'm not trying to get into some legal issue over a little bit of porn. That, and I was trying to keep my real charge on hush in the first place. Once I explained the whole situation to her, we decided we'd wait on the affidavit (the actual charge hadn't gone through yet) and she gave me the address of the site the made the charge, and told me to contact them to see if I can figure out what's going on. I've done that, and now I'm waiting. I'll let y'all know how this turns out, but if I make it through this without any trouble, I *PROMISE* you that I will NEVER...EVER...EEEEEEEVER look at porn again as long as I live. NEVER!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! Ah, fuck it. *grabs lotion and logs onto porn site*
