a) That describes half the roster, and b) Angle didn't seem to care last year when Eddie was playing the same character How about the fact that despite the fact that Kurt cleaned up his act, Eddie's still more popular with the fans. It could be an issue of petty jealousy.

25 for the first. As soon as I saw the Teletubbies question, I stopped on the second one.

I'm pretty sure it was sometime between No Way Out and WMXIV He got hurt his first official night in the Nation. They were cutting a promo when Crush and the newly formed DOA came out for a confrontation, they had a pull-apart brawl, and Ahmed came up limping. He would be out until that August, when the Nation suddenly turned on him out of nowhere. HHH was feuding with Owen, and when Owen realized he couldn't beat DX by himself, he turned heel and recruited the Nation. That pretty much made DX face by default, though they had been getting face pops since X-Pac's return.

Maybe so, but when you consider the match's length in relation to everything else on the card (sans the Rumble), it's a little hard to believe that they'd be upset about that. I swear these newsletters make this shit up just to give smarks something new to bitch about.

That's GOTTA be bullshit. Say what you will about them, but I refuse to believe that HHH and Shawn are that self-absorbed.

Edit: NM. I'm good for Thursday.

I have this method of flexing the muscles in the back of my throat that always brings something up.

I've talked to Zack a little bit, so I might as well chime in here. I guess I can best describe my feelings about Zack with this scenario: Say Zack was running for some kinda public office against some really really rich guy, and it was really close and my vote was the deciding vote, and the really really rich guy said he'd pay me $100 billion to vote for him instead of Zack...I'd definitely...DEFINITELY vote for the rich guy. But when I'm riding on my solid gold, jet powered yact afterwards...I would DEFINITELY feel guilty about it. Yes. [/crackpipe] Seriously though, Zack's a good guy. He's probably the easiest person to get along with on the board. Easy to talk to, open-minded, positive. I don't talk to him as much as some others do, but from what interaction I have had with Zack, he seems like a good friend and somebody who would look out for you when you're in a tough situation. Really, other than vicious lies and rumors, like that little thing about him and the rabbits...that you didn't hear from me, by the way...I can't say anything bad about Zack.

I dunno. I'm not the most clique-ish person in the world, and my posting has already dropped off significantly from where it was when I started here, so I really can't see myself being around for a long time. Then again, I didn't see myself sticking around for two years either, so you never know.

Rock's on Shamrock was probably my favorite. Jeff Hardy of all people got a pretty nasty shot in on Brock Lesnar in the spring of 2002.

From a line in a Fabolous song I liked at the time and it's a reference to my future baby's momma.

I get a lot of "at first I didn't like you, but it turns out you're a really cool guy" or something like that. Before I started talking to one of my best friends, he said I had the "look" of a tool and I looked like a "stupid white boy." Then he started talking to me, and found my craziness really funny. I get the same thing all the time. Really!

How about TNM?

I remember DH getting some heat in the WWE folder for being an "apologist" a little while back, basically because he defended Goldberg (I think) and was fairly positive about the product. And some posts he makes come off a little...I'm not sure how to describe it, but I'll just say idealistic. Personally, I don't have a problem with him though. He seems like good people.

I seriously doubt that WWE intended to turn either Kurt or Cena with that match. No, they did the unthinkable and LISTENED to the fans. The fans said "We like Cena more than Angle." And lo and behold, Cena is a face. By that logic, you could place Chyna/Jericho on the same level as Austin/Hart. Really, there's no comparison.

When did I miss this? I mean when did it happen, because I never noticed. When Vader has HBK in the chinlock/chokehold thing, some fan hops out of the crowd and starts climbing the ropes. Bulldog, Owen and Ahmed all rush him and he hops down. It's pretty funny.

*Threatens Squirtle* You know I'm just playing!

Game stalked Loss??? If you don't mind me asking, what was that all about? I see where you're coming from, but short of reporting every single threat to the police (which isn't really the most practical thing to do, since a lot of what people say on here is bullshit), there's really not much Dames can do. Whether he's banned or not, he'll make good on the threat if he wants to, and I really don't see how Dames could be held responsible either way, because it's too hard to predict how people are gonna act.

What he said. The turnbuckle flip is up there too. Least favorite...dunno if this counts, but that thing that heels do now when they slide out of the ring and grab two chairs, throw one in to distract the ref then come in and hit them with the other chair. It was cool the first time they did it, but when they started doing it every other match... That and the Worm. Fuck the Worm.
-
I don't know about that. Of the people that were banned for wishing death on another person, I doubt any of them could've been interpreted as credible threats to the recipient, and even if the threats were credible, unless Dames or one of the mods reported the threat to authorities, I can't see how simply banning the person in question would make him any less liable if the poster did make good on his threat. I'd think the rule has more to do with keeping posters from ruining other posters' enjoyment of the board than any kind of safety issue, and you probably could chalk that up to people being a little too sensitive.

WWE catchphrases and sayings that need to die
Papacita replied to Youth N Asia's topic in The WWE Folder
I *NEVER*... EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER *EVER*... wanna hear this on a WWE show AGAIN! "I'll fight (insert name here) anytime or anywhere...BUT NOT TONIGHT!" They've run that into the ground over the last couple of years. -
The FU, even though it seems to be getting over. I've never been too big on the Olympic Slam either. I like it as a transition move, but I could never buy it as a legit finish. World's Strongest Slam The Worm (as a finish) Sliced Bread #2. I like Spanky, but I'm sorry. I just don't like the move. Victoria's twirling sideslam thing (she brings her opponent from like a fireman's carry position down into a sidewalk slam I think). It's a cool move in theory, but it looks so damn fake when she does it. Whenever Rey runs to the opposite rope before doing the 619. Bubba Bomb There are probably some more that I can't think of right now.

C in Chemistry B in English B+ in Criminal Justice C in Political science I had A's in in english and political science right up until the last week, but fucked up *badly* on my finals. I damn near failed that Chem class thanks to my dumb ass teacher (the second worst teacher I've ever had), but my final saved me. On every level, this was the worst semester I've had since starting college.
