  1. Ok...the tags might not be needed here, but... Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Yeah, I'm writing that one, but isn't that match supposed to happen on the 20th?
  2. Ahmed never headlined a WM. That's what I get for skimming. My bad
  3. Didn't Ultimo just win a #1 contendership match last week?
  4. Doing what? *not watching the show* Telling Angle and Benoit they had a 4 on 1 match.
  5. Figured it was only a matter of time before they put out one of those Shane Jerseys. Anyway, I could do without "The Money" on the back (just looks out of place), but besides that, it's alright. I won't even comment on the Christmas shirt.
  6. Considering that a lot of that bling bling rap came from Bad Boy, yeah, rap would pretty much be the same.
  7. Yes, but it's now called the Hammerstein Ballroom. ECW ran their last PPVs there. That was the Manhattan Center?!?! The Hammerstein seemed so much bigger on ECW. As for the original question...I'm not sure exactly why they did it back in 93, but in 95, 96 and 97 I'm pretty sure their main reason for throwing their MEs on early was to get the jump on Nitro.
  8. Warrior's entrance circa 96, HBK, HHH, Old School Taker, Jericho and Chyna...(c'mon, how could you not mark for the pyro cannon!).
  9. God damn...that came outta nowhere. I always liked Crash. That's sad to hear.
  10. ^ the...something of the smarks... You know what you are
  11. "No Letting Go"-Wayne Wonder
  12. Being an HBK and Chyna mark, I've gotta say DX. The Radicalz would've been cool if they pushed them collectively as a serious force.
  13. ^ President of the Idiots < just the VP
  14. I'm surprised Ahmed didn't get a mention. I'll say Bundy.
  15. That's cool. Glad I could help you out.
  16. "Fallen (remix)"-Mya
  17. That's kind of an interesting question... All the announcers were pretty much babyface from then on (Which is one of the things that bugged me about WCW - Heel announcers rule) due to the nWo. I mean, they "worked" for WCW, not the nWo, so they couldn't cheer for them, really. Thus, they were all kinda faces by default...but would Heenan still root for other heels or jeer the play-by-play guys? I honestly don't recall...but I think he was more of a face then a heel then. He still rooted for other heels...and I *VAGUELY* remember him sucking up to the nWo at one point...I think they had taken over the broadcast booth or something like that, but I didn't watch Nitro that often, so I could be wrong.
  18. Because that would make sense, and we can't have shenanigans like that in wrestling today. It would be cool if Kurt actually welcomed the chants, but directed them at his opponents instead. Like, if he's coming out second, he'll point towards his opponent in the ring and encourage the fans to chant "You suck" at him...if that makes any sense. Eh... And while I agree that Kurt's a better heel than a face, I've actually liked his face run this year. I think he was best as a tweener...like when he was teaming with Benoit.
  19. Did the Old-School Koko have Frankie? If not...they should have done with Franky what they did with Damien...FRANKIE BURGERS! Even better...EVIL FRANKIE!!! They could train the bird to attack people, and even have it interfere in their matches whenever they're in trouble. That or they could just kill the bird, stuff it with rocks and use its dead body as a foreign object.
  20. *Calmly awaits the obvious "Bret screwed Bret" line*
  21. :throws Dama some leftover Halloween candy: Hope you like Candy Corn
  22. I thought they had the same theme that Owen would go on to use during most of his singles career (which I loved, personally) I think the theme you're thinking of is the one Owen used when he came back in mid-1993 with his new "Rocket" look. It's the same theme. As for High Energy...they were alright, but it was too hard to get behind them. My friends and I had pretty much written off Koko as a jobber by this time, so it was pretty pointless to expect something special out of the team. In fact, to this day, I can't recall seeing Koko win a singles match!
  23. ^ trying to turn this into the "Attack the person above you thread"
  24. Somebody told ^ wrong < still the king!!!!!
  25. I've liked Raw a lot since Unforgiven, as it seems like there isn't too much on the show that's done for no reason, and things the show's layed out in a way that allows just about everyone on the show to get a good amount of exposure. Also, they seem to be keeping the Shane/Kane stuff to a minumum lately, which is always good. Smackdown was never that strong storyline wise, and now that they seem to be cutting down on the wrestling for McMahon and all of that other bullshit they've been putting on there lately, the shows are only getting worse. Right now, Raw's easily the better of the two.
