"Last night I beat myself" Yeah, I REALLY needed that image HHH.
-
Hmmm...that was pretty unexpected...I like it.

If they're supposed to be Bischoff's boys, why are they cheering Goldberg? I thought Eric hated Goldberg.

No one gets over on management alone. The point was that fans were calling for Rock and Austin to receive their ME push when the time came...HHH's push was more of a management decision. Well it's WWF. You really can't expect a top face to be jobbing cleanly right and left when they haven't had a history of doing so in the past. And even with that, there was never a period where he was made to look invincible. Clean or not, he lost often, and was always vulnerable to an extent, as a face and as a heel. The same really can't be said for HHH, because since his push began, he's almost always been made to look unstoppable, and in 90% of the time, he's made to come out on top.

^ takes good care of her hair.

Judging from ^'s avatar, ^ has nice...all natural...100% REAL... ...hair. ^ was probably expecting something else.

I love how some of you talk as if you know HHH personally. I don't like the man, but you're in no position to say he's jealous of anyone. I think it's a little much to say that Rock and Austin got God-pushes...they got over on their own merit, HHH was forced upon us. Also, saying they got God pushes implies that they were made to look unbeatable, and while that may have been the case with Austin for a while, I can't ever recall a time when the Rock looked unbeatable. And even though Jericho really should have gone over (if only to allow them to properly build towards HHH's win), I liked their match at X8. It was solid IMO, and the only real problem with the match was that the crowd died off after Rock/Hogan. And although I agree somewhat with the decision to put HHH over there, I *HATED* their cell match with a passion.

^ buys and sells Vaseline

One more thing...Wordsworth establishes that the speaker/narrator is an outsider, and is most likely of a different class than the woman, so by saying that the Vale is "overflowing" with her sound, he could be saying that her feelings and those shared by her class exceed the boundaries of the area/class and are being felt by him and other outsiders as well.

^ has green flesh...I assume

Same here...hell, I still cringe a little when he loses a match. I also like Show and A-Train...although I find it hard as hell to call him A-Train instead of Albert. They should've tried to ease the name in as a nickname, then slowly have it become his full name...kinda like how Show was "The Big Show" Paul Wight at first, but became The Big Show over time...or how The Rock was "The Rock" Rocky Maivia, and HHH was "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley...yeah. I'm done rambling. Even though he's dead and gone, Al Wilson was always a guilty pleasure for me. I don't care what people say, his promo style was gold. And last but not least...I like Sable.

Well, it's a lecture hall course so hopefully he will just glance over it and not ask questions. I'll keep my mouth shut... ...and if he says something...well I got a bag of nickels with his name on it...POW!

The overall theme I get from the poem is the maiden's sense of longing...or a yearning for something. If you want to play off the "plight of the working class" idea, perhaps she's longing for a wealthier life, or maybe she wishes that she were born into an upper class family. I dunno if that works, but here are some other things I got from the poem: Alone she cuts and binds the grain, -I could be reading way too much into this, but grain, to me, suggests that there's something ingrained in her...possibly a bloodline or something like that. "Cut" and "bind" kind of conflict, because cutting implies separation and binding implies unification, so you could look at it as an internal conflict within her. Perhaps she'd like to break away from her class, but is bound by bloodline, or love for her family...or something along those lines. And sings a melancholy strain; -Strain can take on a few meanings. The most obvious being pressure, work or labor, but it could also represent mood or ancestry. Again, this goes back to the idea of her being unhappy about being in a working class family. It also emphasises the dullness of her labor. O listen! for the Vale profound/Is overflowing with the sound. -Another one I'm probably reading too much into, but Vale is another word for valley, and the valley overflowing with sound suggests that her pain is felt by everyone in the valley, as most likely, everyone in the area is of the same class as she. No Nightingale did ever chaunt -She's likened to a nightingale, so I ran a quick search on google to see what kind of symbolism is usually associated with that. In Sufism, the nightingale represents the soul (lol, don't know how useful that is), but in western literature, it's representative of pain and yearning...in Christianity, it's associated with a longing for heaven. The idea of longing or yearning is really played up in the 3rd stanza... That's pretty much all I got. Hope that helps some.

Ok, we had a one question quiz in Chemistry today and...well...depending on how you look at it, I kinda cheated. Ok, I was ready for the quiz and everything, had reviewd the material and all so I wasn't worried about it coming in...the thing was that we had to find the density using the mathematical formula (d=m/V) and I had accidetally left my calculator at home. Now I've never been a mathematical genius to say the least, so it took me a while to work the problem out and by the time he'd called for the papers, I was nowhere near being finished. Desperate to put something down, I asked the guy sitting next to me for a calculator...and he hands me his cell phone (motherfucker), which has a calculator on it, but he really didn't explain to me how to use the thing, and while I was stumbling around with the thing, the teacher became more adament that we hand in our papers. So at this point, the guy just blatantly tells me the answer and tells me to give it to him...and I'm like "ok", and I did it. This has been bugging the hell outta me for the last hour for various reasons because one, despite what I posted in the Person Above You thread yesterday, *I DON'T CHEAT*, if only because of my ego...if I can't do it on my own, I'd rather not do it at all. And secondly, I know that math was wrong, and what I was working out on the test paper doesn't add up to the answer the guy gave me, so I'm almost sure that the teacher's gonna question me about this. Now most likely, I'm blowing this whole thing out of proportion, but to make a long story short, I don't wanna get in trouble over some bullshit ass quiz. So I was thinking about just doing one or two things...either wait until he questions me about it and tell him that I was rushing, used a calculator and didn't have time to correct what I had written down, or just approach him before he looks at the quiz, tell the truth and hope that he really doesn't give a damn. Or if he questions me, I could always pull the whole *points* "OMG LOOK AT THAT!!!!!", then when he turns to look, punch the shit outta him and run. It's worked before. So what do you think? Am I buggin' or what?

TSM Poster Tournament II
Papacita replied to rising up out of the back seat-nuh's topic in Poster Tournament
Just remember...if I lose this round, I'm coming after all of you. -
I know where you're coming from there. That's exactly why I always prefered boards over e-mail feds. And there are feds that go quantity over quality, but I think that comes from lazy or overworked owners than anything else...trust me, when you see like 20-30 *LONG* RP's lined up for one card, it's VERY tempting to just skim through and give the win to the guy whose name appears up there the most. What I used to do to prevent this (sort of by necessity, because I was busy as hell with school, but also to put more focus on individual RP quality) was set a four RP limit for shows and rather than just lumping all RP's together and judging them that way, I'd take the best from each participant in the match, judged those against one another and just used the additional RP's (if any) to decide closer matches. It worked, because it more or less forced everyone to put more effort into individual RP's rather than throwing up 3 or 4 repetitive, long-winded bullshit ones...and it was less reading for me, so that's always good. LOL, I guess y'all can tell I really miss my little e-fed. If I had the energy, I'd open it back up, because I had a lot of ideas I wanted to try out towards the end but was just too burnt out to use. Oh well...

Since I'm required by federal law to point this out everytime it's posted... I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing more to see here, people. Move along.

^ should make one and put < on it. < never one to turn down free gifts.

He should lose it by SS...to Kane if WWE has any sense left. Edit: Actually, Rumble probably would be best, since it makes GB look a little weak to lose it in his 1st PPV defense.

^ didn't vote for me...officially off my x-mas list

We've decided it's the worst WWE show ever, so I'd say no. lol. You guys say that about every show. Anyway, I'll pass.
