I watched it once a couple of weeks ago, and it was ok...nothing too funny. Snoop had me dying though when he was riding around in those carts with the senior citizens and started throwing up signs. As for the Shizzolator...that's pretty cool. Gotta lose reading JHawk's Televizzle reports here at TSM.

TSM Poster Tournament II

*reads Chosun's post* DAMN!!!!!! I can't believe I forgot! I nominate CanadianChick! What? -
Yeah, I can't sleep so I figured I'd create meaningless thread and steal at least another minute from your otherwise wonderful lives. And tonight, I've come to talk to you about horoscopes. Does anybody read them? Does anybody actually believe them? Personally, I've never really bothered with them, but over the last few months, I've been checking out mine when I've had nothing better to do...and I really don't know what to think about them now. A lot of my horoscopes have been hitting pretty close to home lately. For example, a couple of months ago, I had one that said "Don't miss an opportunity to tell your secret crush how you feel about them", which might not seem like much, but I actually read this WHILE I was talking to my secret crush for the first time in about a month and a half (for the record, I freaked out and froze up when I read that, and missed my chance...eh). Since then, I've been reading them almost daily. So am I alone in reading horoscopes, or is this just another instance of me being the oddball of the board?

You may be right, but I definitely think the match would've come off better without pressure to sustain ratings throughout the show. I think that was more of a problem than anything having to do with their working style. I'm not saying it'd be Flair/Steamboat had this been on PPV instead, but we probably would've gotten a much better match out of the two if it was.
-
I wouldn't say that they're incapable of doing it, because with the right preparation (watching old tapes and what not) they could've easily pulled it off. I think the problem tonight was that they were afraid that fans would get bored with a long technical match and tune out, and chose to go with the more spotty style in order to keep people interested. That's another reason why they would've been better off running the match on PPV, because they don't have to worry about sustaining ratings as long as people buy the show.
-
Yeah, when they signed the match I said they'd have been better off doing 30 mins instead of an hour. That way, commercials would've been less of an issue and it'd be easier to get into the match.

One thing I've ALWAYS wanted in a wrestling game was an entrance creator, so that aspect alone makes this game a must have for me. A shame I don't have a Game Cube...but maybe Smackdown will have one as well...I hope.

Be careful with that alcohol. It contains isopropyl, which is quite flammable. Use: Confute

Generally I don't, because my opinions aren't likely to change, but it's always interesting to look at a match from someone else's perspective.

Good for him if he wasn't disappointed...I wish I could say the same.

TSM Poster Tournament II

Hell, I nominate myself. You can't have a poster tournament without me. -
I like Cena, but think about what you're saying. He had great matches against arguably the 2 best workers in WWE, and even Taker has stepped up his game in the past few months, so that match could just as easily be attributed to him carrying Cena. I'm not saying that he hasn't improved, but I think you could use better examples. It takes two to tango. By that logic, A-Train should be having **** matches with these guys. It seemed as if you were crediting the Taker match solely to Cena, as if he carried Taker to such a good match. I apologize if I misunderstood you. Also, while I agree that it does "take two to tango", I will say that Cena hasn't shown much outside of the matches against the guys, two of whom again are notorious for making their opponents look good. Again, I like Cena and I don't mean this as a knock to him, but I'd wait until he starts putting out good performances on a regular basis against guys who aren't Benoit and Eddie before I start calling him a great worker. And for the record, I liked Benoit's matches with A-Train.

Do you guys think Kurt jobbing was the right thing?

The semi-clean finish was a nice touch for me...I was worried Vince might try to interfere or some kinda stuff like that. I didn't really like the match though. Not enough mat wrestling, the stalling, even *I* could see something was lacking in psychology, and it was way too spotty for me. They relied a little too much on F5's and suplexes for my tastes. It could've been so much better.

SHUT UP COLE! IT WAS CLEAN!!!!!!!! CLEAN FINISH TO A TITLE MATCH! CLEAN!!!!

OMG! CLEAN FINISH!!!!!!
