Loved Buddy's work. Buddy has become one of my favorite guys to watch and listen to in the last 5-7 years as I expanded my wrestling base. WWF run with Backlund was entertaining, as Rose played a rich giggolo type role and his in ring was top tier. Tremendous comedy spots and cowardly heel antics in his AWA feud with the Rockers. Was actually the referee in the 1975 Nick Bockwinkel title win over Verne Gagne. This death made me oddly sad, as most wrestling death's don't make my stomach wrench when hearing the news.
