I seriously hope Affliction sorts their shit and provides a suitable substitute to fans like myself (none of the UFC lifers here) who are sick of this terrible product they are shoving down my throat. I remember saying MMA should gravitate towards a boxing model and it’s absolutely wrong for UFC. They need to get back on this wrestling wagon and start packing these shitty cards with real superstars. Affliction needs to continue pushing the boxing version of fighter vs fighter. Because tonight for UFC was epic fail (and 89 and 90). I hope it has less then 200k buys especially since there was an FTA pirate satellite fix for all the potential buyers that could have been forced into purchasing this terrible card just before it started. Bulgarian Blagio Ivanov beat Fedor Emelianenko by points today in the semifinals of the World Sambo championships in St. Petersburg, Russia. Ivanov then beat Steffan Yoarshil of Germany in the finals. Ivanov made huge headlines in Bulgaria with the win.

I have a coworker who lies constantly (I've mentioned him before) spent 30 minutes today telling me TNA (who he asks ME who the champ is) is courting Taker weekly by having everyone say "We want the dead man!" He then said Taker can't leave WWE though because he bought Flair's shares in the WWE and Taker now owns Smackdown Then he informed me that Steve "Dr Death" Williams is JR's son (What are they 9 years apart in age?) He then informed me BROCK LESNER is fighting an MMA bout Saturday night.... In the Brown County Arena across from Lambeau here in GB. I called him on this and told him Brock is in LV for UFC He then told me Tank Abbott still destroys guys in MMA, and that Ken Shamrock would beat Brock in an MMA bout. Then I was informed WWE is bringing WCW back and TNA is getting a Spike Show Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays to compete with WWE. There was more but I've forgotten it (thankfully) I wanted to scream.
