Nothing major to be honest. Never got arrested let alone charged with a crime. The worst thing I did, never charged with let alone arrested, let me think. Probably the time I broke somebody's arm because I was jealous. I was young and stupid at the time.

The news over here has been saturated with paranoid doom-mongering stories about teenagers "sexting". American society and law have gotten more and more bizarrely obsessed with heavily punishing anything involving sex and a minor, regardless of how utterly harmless the act itself was. Like that 17-year-old kid a while back who was sentenced to 10 years in jail for getting a consensual blowjob from a girl two years younger than him. The weirdest thing is how some people act like these things are a sign that our culture is getting more depraved. If anything, children are kept more sheltered now than at almost any time in history. Even in the early 20th century, it wasn't uncommon for a middle-aged men to marry girls who were still in the middle of puberty. Chinese men like to marry Girls as young as possible. Well like to marry girls much younger would be more accurate maybe. Mostly they like their wife to be 15+ years younger. Actually I do have vauge memories of an (underage) girl getting arrested for putting nude photos as a picture text on a phone. Personally I am very against any kind of child porn. Sickens me. However in this case, the case of sending a boyfriend photos, is it really child porn? Only the also underage boyfriend saw the photos. In the case of a underage person posting them on myspace it clearly is child porn, but is it a criminal offence? If an adult posted of course, but an adult didn't post them.

So last year When the RMB was strong the economy was strong. This year the RMB has weakened. So it was that as well as, if not even more than, the US dollar's value which created the global economy crisis

There is a reason why everywhere you go, well almost everywhere, America, the American goverment has a bad name. People view America as being the worlds Judge. Or the world's bully if they don't feel like phrasing it so nice. Is that being too harsh? Yes it is, and no it isn't. America has a habit of getting involved in other countries where there really isn't a reason. at the same time quite often it helps countries that it really didn't have to as well. I am possibly not the best person to talk about this as American culture really doesn't exist in mainland China. At least not outside of hollywood films. America has an image problem abroad it is that simple. Anti-American sentiment exists in almost every country and the goverment need to come up with ways to improve attitudes toward America. Me personally I have no beef with the US, but growing up I was told something along the lines of US is like a shady uncle with some past misdeeds. You love him anyway because he is part of your family, but you don't quite trust him. Are US policies regarding helping and or warring with other countries deeply flawed? Is current U.S. policy regarding militant Islam, the Middle East and the war in Iraq fundamentally flawed, and who bears responsibility if it is? These are questions I dn't have an answer for, but questions I thing about never the less.
