The best the nobody else has mentioned: Sleeper (the two books were excellent, good first season) Fables and Powers (read well in a trade format, good writing and art for both) Iron Wok Jan (incredible book, just keeps you wanting more and more) Carl Banks Uncle Scrooge Library are also worth the read.

Doug is really good on the microphone and incredible in the ring. But when I saw him in a tag match with "Danny Basham" he sucked. WWE style cripples everyone.

I can't stand the ROH announcers either....but you say that as if ROH wrestlers can't possibly sell or tell a story. Which simply isn't true. True, I always forget about Danielson, London and Spanky. Danielson especially, kick him in the leg once and you get a limp, that's what I like to see in a match.

This is pro wrestling (where we all no sell and can't tell a story). My favourite was Red/Jay Brisco, the commentators pimping it as a technical classic. Or after some pointless chain wrestling "We've just seen a clinic" (yeah in pointless crap)

He's right though. No one goes to try to tell a consistant story in the ring. Wrestling is about telling a story through every move you do, the performers in the WWE just can't grasp that. Neither can most wrestlers out there, you have to be basically looking at every move you do and how it contributes to the match, the back story and everything else if you really want to hit the ****+ region.
